Came today with my friends to watch Wales and England in the rugby and it was an amazing experience, our host Kieron was a pleasure and a delight and made sure we were well looked after the whole time and the bartenders were lovely 10/10 would go just for the service!!

Had a bit of a boogie, music is usually good in here, service was pretty fast considering it was Saturday night. Staff have always been friendly. For me I just find that the age group gets younger and younger, but that could be me getting older 😉. Although felt very teenage years when on the door they always tell you it's an older age club! Good hour all the same.

Came down from Carlisle for the wrestling! This is one of the best walkabouts I have been to , with everything from the DJs, to the staff. Atmosphere was a 10/10 , if your looking for a good night out with friends , give it a visit!

Me and my partner came here a few nights ago, and was welcomed by Kieran. he was a delight to speak to, very warm and caring! definitely would come back just for the staff

Went for a quick bite. Ordered a double burger with extras. It came without extras. Chips were also bad (sour/bitter taste I assume old). Plus everything is small.. The size of burger size of chips in a small basket. Not worth the price + not up to the competitor offers.

Went to Walkabout on Saturday to watch the rugby and it was an absolute pleasure. Our host Kieran sat us at a lovely table and checked on us many times, we were so well looked after! Also the bar staff were brilliant and very funny. Great experience overall!

Absolutely disgraceful the manager should be ashamed. Ordered food and it is not as described on the menu it was burnt and dried out. There were people on the table opposite eating a takeaway ( I don't blame them) never ever again. The pictures below were the same thing ordered.

Ordered food on Monday (25th) around 19:30, can you give the chef a complement from myself. First time trying the hunters chips and it was absolutely lush, massive portion for a good price. Will have it again.

Nothing wrong in my eyes... Very fast service, not especially happy with photographing my driving licence, but hey ho. A bit extreme for a couple of drinks. But otherwise okay, not expensive compared to the other bars in the Welsh capital, generally happy 👌🏻

Club DJ on the night was great, played a mix of new and old stuff. Drinks are overpriced (even for a club) £33 for 8 shots of vodka is insane! The ticket system is slow as it's one person at the door and the scanning apps don't seem to work every time. Staff are young but friendly. Would recommend other clubs in Cardiff before you visit walkabouts.

Very disappointed, paid to reserve a table to watch the rugby and on arrival they refused to honour it, claimed that what we paid was entry even through on the website it was for a table to which we had to arrive before 1300! No-one challenged us or asked for payment as we walked into the doors!!! Don't fall for paying or booking a table! Staff not very helpful and argumentive and the manager couldn't be bothered to come and speak to us.

Really disappointed with the lack of customer service here. Very busy bar and although appreciate it was busy waited 20 mins to get served whilst people wandered in after me. Very frustrating. Eventually I did draw attention to my lack of service I was very rudely cross examined by the staff. Then to crown it all they ran out of gas so no draught drinks available. This seems very convenient as its quicker to serve bottles than pour pints. Not impressed. Won't be going back anytime soon.

A really large venue. A good number of bars to order from. Lots of screens for the sports that they broadcast live. Plenty of booths and seating areas and what looked like a couple of large dance floors. Friendly staff who look to ensure you have a good experience. I would recommend

Place was ok. Drinks price standard for most places. Only thing wa, having not been out in cardiff before we didnt know that we were allowed downstairs. All doors were open. Bar seemed open. But the group of us got shouted at by staff for no real reason. First pub we went in. Wasnt drunk/rowdy just genuinely didnt know.

Beer had an awful taste, had to send them back. Manager was friendly and kind enough to give replacement after he tried it. Cheap for shots and bottles but would stay away from the lager!

Had VIP tickets for after a concert, we had a blast really recommend the Photo Booth couldnt stop laughing , toilet typical if any type of club experience I guess so yeah .. but overall blast

They had a special offer outside on the A Frame bored. But when I went into the bar and ordered they advised I was out of time for the offer. They should remove offers after expiry especially when outside. So you don't waste your time and energy at the bar believing you have food when you don't.

Came in here for a drink and to watch the cricket during the day. Good music and friendly bar staff make this a place you should visit when visiting Cardiff

The label I work with (Better You Better Me Records C.I.C.) put on an event here. It was a great night. We had a good sized function room with PA and bar staff provided. The room had great lighting effects, which added to the atmosphere, as you can see in the video. All the staff were very helpful, showed us how to get our gear to the back alley to load up, and even gave me directions to navigate from a car park to the pub, through the one way system.

Lively bar, it felt so good to be out having a dance again. The bar staff are great 👍 DJ (no 🎤 just decs) could of been better, repeating a lot of the same songs within our 2hr stay - Don't do requests? As our table was pre booked it would of been nice for it not to have been all sticky and dirty. Paid £20 for a rose prosecco bottle, 2 out of 6 of us drank some of it - not that nice.

Chloe was fantastic - goood knowledge of drinks, local area and all round tab girl! We will be back to see her!

Bar service here is shocking. A packed house Friday of the speedway GP & only 2 people behind the bar. They didn’t seem trained in customer service or looked like they wanted to be there. Don’t blame them, I didn’t either. Excessive ice and mixers in drinks. Stick to bottles if you are unlucky enough to end up here but lucky enough to get served. Poor show.

Went to the new venue underneath walkabout today called "basement" the club looks amazing, such a good vibe, music's been great tonight! Can't fault the bar staff either, friendly and accommodating, nothing but smiles from El, top customer service and banter, definitely coming again and again!

Brilliant Night!! Hired part of the bar back in August - put some money behind the bar and had drinks, the barmaid who looked after us Leah - Absolutely Brilliant!! Fantastic host and a credit to the team in Cardiff, made sure we was all okay - nothing was too much trouble so thank you Leah👍 Kitchen unfortunately had to close that day but we was unaware and turned up thinking we was having dinner, again it was no trouble and they provided us with small menus allowing all of us to have something to eat which kept smiles on everyone's faces so thank you for doing that 💁🏼‍♂️ The only reason I have dropped a star is because unfortunately the managing staff members let us down - I brought a cocktail bowl fully explaining to man in managing outfit (shirt and trousers) the game I wanted to play with it and he laughed and joked and served me the drink, he then waited till we started to come over and say stop and start acting your age? So I replied by saying you knew what was going on you laughed thought it was funny and served me the drinker which he replied "grow up" we then also had another manager who got us all a free sours shot if we did a review, yes we done a review but they wanted a review of all 25 people, when we said No they then removed the shots from the table and put them behind the bar!! It was our own bar for the evening so no one else could have them - bit of a waste and even worse after someone else said to start acting our ages 🙈 Night and venue is brilliant!! I was down in Cardiff when my beloved football team were playing away at our local rivals. On entering the bar I asked the barman if he could put our game on one of the many screens, he was happy to do so and I ordered a beer to enjoy with the football. My friend and I enjoyed a few more beers before heading to the hotel at the end of the night. I heartily recommend the walkabout to sports fans

After having my first pale ale in there last week, my 2nd pale ale tasted totally different. I politely asked the lady behind the bar if I could have another one. 5 or so minutes later, what appeared to be the bar manager (lady with long, dark hair) was extremely rude, confrontational and wasn't listening to anything I had to say. She went on to explain the beer had "been taste tested" by several members of staff and that the drink was fine. Absolutely shocking service.

Tidy little bar! Was a bit quiet when I went, but the drinks were cheap and the music was good. I rate it 4 stars only because the place was unbelievably sticky. Every surface, and the entire floor! Will definitely be going again, though!

Booked a table yesterday before the ed sheeran concert, only when I got there they had no recollection of my booking although i had an email luckily a table became vacant. Half of the food items were missing of the menu, the bar service was really slow, wasn't enough staff on, when our food did come, it came without napkins or cutlery. Best bit about our visit was the music

Had a fab time here! Visiting from London. Jessica was so wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy the whole time. Beautiful interior, will definitely be returning!

Had the absolute best time in walkabout while out in Cardiff. The guy who served us, jack, was an absolute star. He had us in stitches all night! Defo be coming again

Good draught beers at a reasonable price.. Downside it can be a bit of a wait to get served.. But overall a very good experience with friendly staff.. Highly recommended on weekend nights for the variety of customers..

Fabulous place all the staff are awesome very friendly, it’s the best place for live sports or just a few cheeky ones after work . I’ve been going here for years would recommend it highly the food is lush too. Prices are decent best place in town.

I would just like to take a minute and say that Matt has been a fantastic member of staff for me and my group today, his attitude and personality is very positive and his service is exceptional. He has for sure made our night!

Really Friendly & Helpful staff who gave service with a smile, a broad menu with lots of choice, Quick service despite the current pandemic restrictions in place. Staff helped me with the App so I could order and receive the discounts. Reasonable prices, Plenty of Covid guidance in place - great PR with being able to choose music for the Bar, the interactive quiz was good idea too. Clean Venue & Upon entry Track, Trace & only required information requested. Friendly Atmosphere and Excellent Customer Service from Entry Point to Exit - Screens clearly visible too. Great craic for a stag party, the downstairs dance floor with DJ is huge, decent drink prices. Good spot for groups of younger girls and lads.

Not the place for a romantic drink or two, but brilliant for watching big screen sport. Screens everywhere mean you can't fail to see the action. Loads of bar space, we'll staffed and polite security staff help to make it a safer environment. We have some mobility issues, meaning some form of seating is needed and the security staff went over and above, to make our visit comfortable.

Came here to watch the world Cup final, friendly, welcoming, great vibe! Felt very comfortable in a clean and friendly pub/club. Would recommend to anyone, excellent work guys

Wouldn’t turn on audio whilst the footy was on, despite the entire bar being there for the game. Playing Katy Perry Hot and Cold while Liverpool are 1-0 Leicester filled me with rage..
