Food very nice and not overly priced for what you get. Drinks are always good. Service from staff is great, friendly helpful and always well dressed. Emailed regarding my concerns having a push chair as I don't visit often as I don't live I Cardiff and they were quick to respond and reassure my enquire. I was shocked to see how child/baby friendly the place is - when I used to go prior to a baby it's the last thing is notice but it was very family orientated for brunch which was lovely.

Lovely venue. Friendly and very helpful staff. Good menu choice, but quirky. Would recommend booking.

The Cosy club is a nice place for some brunch and cocktails and other drinks. There is plenty of seating area although when busy you'll have to book a table in advance. The menu has different brunch offerings. The food is nice but could be better. Ordered fried eggs, they were more like poached eggs rather than fried. The spinach on the veggie breakfast was too salty. The tea and coffee was nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. In the restaurant it felt quite cold, maybe the heating was not working... apart from that it was a nice experience.

Love this chain and it’s amazing to know that the food will be good. Came in for some breakfast and wee weren’t disappointed. It was hard to chose, but the bubble and squeak is really nice!

It is one of the best restaurants I have been to. Food, service, atmosphere, excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant, I will definitely be visiting again and again. The atmosphere is calm as well as vibrant with everyone enjoying themselves. There is plenty of space, so it's not crowded. I advise booking in advance.

We came here yesterday for dinner and OMG, amazing all round. We had Alex as our server and they kept us updated on wait times and were very attentive and friendly ! We had the garlic prawns to start and they were stunning, could have eaten 6 of them ! Both our mains were lovely and food and drinks came out quickly. The atmosphere was nice and the big windows were lovely to sit by. The fries also deserve a mention as they were so crispy. Would definitely recommend!

Really enjoyed our brunch here, 5 of us had different dishes and we all thought it was great. My husband's eggs came out raw and 'snotty' but this was quickly rectified and he really enjoyed his shakshuka in the end. Staff very friendly and professional, plenty of vegan options. Child's portion not massive if your child is older or with a large appetite, but these things always vary greatly from place to place. We'll happily return!

Went here for brecwast yesterday. It was ok, but the poached eggs were disappointing. Service was excellent. The 3 stars is literally for the food, as it was average. But the staff were great.

Nice atmosphere, elegant but relaxed. Food was alright, nothing too special but okay for what it is. Drinks were good value before 8pm.

This place is so cute decorated for the holidays! The food took a little while to come but when it did it was delicious.

“New Year, new you!” The current tagline of every person looking to make a difference this year such as myself with my health and physique. I definitely recommend this establishment as they will literally have small plates with small quantities to watch your calories and will give your wallet a workout. Although, there hot drinks are superb and it is worth spending your gas and electric bills for it.

Beautiful large windows and clean space. Had a lovely vibe. Food was delicious but did take quite some time to arrive.

Nice venue, excellent staff, however my bacon roll was a little on the small side for the money, I appreciate all eateries are at this shrinkflation but it was a bit meagre. Delicious, but small, also the coffee was great.

The experience was not as good as previous. Very slow service and then to be told they have sold out of what we ordered. Slow with the drinks also. The quantity of food was less than previous, but the quality was good. All in all we probably won't go back there, all 4 of us that the same thing, small portions and slow service.

Absolutely lovely place to grab a bite, we didn't book before hand and had a short wait, which is better than other places. The food was fantastic and the price was not too steep, especially for the quality of food. Lush stuff.

Very nice surroundings. I made my own breakfast by choosing 4 items off the 'extras' list. Rosti's were delicious but small. Nicely poached egg, excellent field mushrooms. Smoked bacon was OK. Probably better value to have their breakfast and just leave what you don't want. All waiting on staff were lovely as were the surroundings. Would go again.

Had a very tasty cooked breakfast here. The ambience and decor is nice and the seating is comfortably spread out. Looked like lots of options on the menu so will have to come back to taste some other dishes!

My first time here. A great place for food and drink. Great atmosphere and themed...sort of Peaky Blinders! The restaurant is on the first floor, stairs up, but didn't see a lift for those who have mobility issues. Service was excellent by very approachable yet efficient waiters. They were excellent. Food was reasonably priced. I was in a group so we had the shared starters (which was delicious) and I had the beef burger with fries and slaw. Definitely will be back and recommended! Thank you

Went here for a celebration following our daughters masters recital at the Royal Welsh. Although it is a chain (the altruistic side of me prefers independents, I have to say it was decent. Table service was good, although I was very disappointed by the initial wait time to be served at the bar whist awaiting the table. The food was very good, and the art deco 1930’s ambiance delightful. I thought the pricing a smidgin on the high side for what you get, but then I am a Yorkshireman!

Butter milk fried chicken was a little dry but the dirty chicken burgers were amazing service very good and the overall feeling of the place was lovely. Had a really enjoyable evening

the christmas burger was genuinely the nicest thing i’ve eaten in my life, so stunning, service was a little bit meh to be honest, i think we would’ve received better service had we been ordering alcoholic drinks and spending a bit more money but we came for the food and it didn’t disappoint!

Table booked for 5pm. 4.55pm Arrived and were seated ! Happy. 5.10pm I go to the bar to get drinks, waiter who seated us says "No, I'll take your drinks order" - great bottle of red and a mojito please. I sit down again. Our guests have arrived (a bit late),... 5.25pm a waitress asks if we would like to order some drinks? Guests - two beers please ( I ask her to check on the wine & mojito). 5.35pm Waitress delivers two beers. 40 minutes since my wife and I were seated... we have no drinks, but a promise that they are coming. 5.40pm we have our drinks , and the table until 7pm. WHAT HAS HAPPENED ? COSY CLUB USED TO BE THE BEST SERVICE IN TOWN???

Good brunch options. Vegan & vegetarian breakfast were good but 2 sausages would’ve made them much better value for money. I added tofu which costs an extra £2.60 for a small amount of tofu. Service was slow but we could see they were understaffed and doing their best.

Had 2 of the best dishes I've had at a restaurant in a very long time. Can definitely recommend the fish and chips and also the apple tart is fantastic, the best I've ever had!

Good for brunch! The decoration is peculiar but cosy. The staff is nice and the food too!

Nice place. Service was ok. I had the Blue Velvet burger, but the pulled beef was minuscule and dried, blue cheese was over cooked and the beef patty was average. It certainly wasn’t worth £15.

Absolutely fantastic. From the entrance onwards, the process to get in is so streamlined, it's wonderful. No extra apps, no fancy stuff. Just plain table service. The staff are wonderful as well, shout out to Lily who was our server, and Josie who dealt with our bookings. The food was well made, too! I highly recommend the tempura prawns and the battered tofu with chips. The tofu was the soft, melt in your mouth kind of savoury, and the prawns were in this tasty batter that wasn't too oily either. Thank you so much for making our date night such a treat!

Not overly impressed by choice or the cold greens that accompanied my pork belly. Food took ages to come after we ordered, and that would explain the pork belly being dried out.

Such a lovely atmosphere! Very 'cosy', food was amazing and the French fries were the best I've ever tasted, crispy and hot to the very last one! Friendly staff too!

The place is very nice to look at from inside & and the food & drinks look very pleasing to the eye, picture perfect. However food wise it tastes very basic/standard partial of the food I had was over cooked. Ordered a iced caramel latte, I get that you would need to put ice in this drink but 95% was just crushed ice and barely any drink. My 3 stars are for how the place looks from the inside and standard of service. I have taken away 2 stars due to the lack of taste/quality in food.

My housemate and I came here for a bit of lunch and ended up having a full meal. Portion sizes were perfect, the food was beautiful and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive despite how busy it was. Honestly such a lovely meal. Pictured is the green risotto and it was LUSH. Also our server Agga was amazing. Really lovely lady who made us feel extremely welcome.

Food was good. Nice atmosphere. Staff lovely. Would of give 5 stars but drinks took a long time to come and had to ask again where they was. and when we had out food we was asked if we wanted any sauce or anything else. We requested vinegar and it never came.

The food was amazing! The atmosphere in the restaurant is lovely. It feels like you've been whisked back in time. The staff were really friendly and helpful, on top of this they were attentive without being overbearing.

Went to Cosy Club Cardiff Hills Street today and we had such a lovely experience, I felt I should share it, especially with my mum being in a wheelchair. From the minute we arrived, our server Ash, made us feel very welcome and at ease, he made sure we had everything we needed. He was friendly and chatty and really made our breakfast one to remember. The food was also lovely, it was so tasty and good value for money! We will definitely be back and highly recommend others give it a go too. 10/10

You can't beat Cosy Club for a decent breakfast/brunch in Cardiff when you take into account the price, location and the quality of the food. Lovely venue which although can get busy, the staff are good at spacing customers around so you don't feel crowded. They offer tasty food served promptly and a decent selection of drinks. Staff have always been friendly and the toilets clean. If I'm in Cardiff, I'll often book here (advance booking recommended).

The first lot of food was placed on our table and then taken back of us because it came to the wrong table. Then when our food did come to our table, 2 meals had to go back because they were cold. 3 meals were eaten, but not enough food on the plates. We were all still very hungry. Very disappointed. Cocktail pitchers were full of ice, so they had to be replaced with fresh pitchers. Wouldn't recommend to Family or Friends.
