Really great place to eat, we had quick service even though it was quite busy, the staff were really friendly and helpful the tapas was amazing there was two for one cocktails which we avoided but were a great deal. It did fill up very quickly though and staff were soon turning people away, we tried to book a table on the Saturday night for dinner but it was fully booked so we went in for Sunday lunch time and it was great.

Real mix of feelings about here. Great coverage of dietary requirements... vegan gluten free fully catered for. However the portion sizes a little on the small side for the cost. It was very loud too so hard to have conversations.

Great place to experience South Americian food i.e Mexician, Brazilian & more. The staff were very friendly & even though we arrived there without a booking, they found us a table. The Cocktails were great & the food was fantastic. The service was very fast too. The decor & music matched the setting. Overall a great experience. 👍😁💥

Amazing lunch, on a Friday afternoon. Very good vegan options and so tasty. My other half had the non-veggie option of the same dishes and was very pleased. Cocktails were nice too, with the plus of being 2 for the price of one 👌😊 Staff very nice and friendly.

i think the customers at las iguanas are too drunk off of the two for one cocktails to realise the food is actually extremely bland. for a big chain the store was extremely run down, dust and cobwebs on the questionable decor and the floor sticky. For £20+ why did the fajitas come with the saddest and smallest portions of salsa and guacamole?? it was barely enough to fill even two of the mini tortillas. overall i am very disappointed

The food took ages to come. In my mind I was thinking the chef must be doing an excellent job on it that's why it's taking time.Didn't like the food. The burger was really bland. Takeaway burgers are 100% better than this. Enchiladas weren't good too.

Had a lovely meal here on Friday night. First time visiting for me, and I definitely enjoyed it. Food was delicious, and cocktails were excellent (they were dangerously easy to drink!). Food allergy menu was a little confusing between website filters that aren't clear, and a pdf that doesn't cover all of the dishes. However, staff were very helpful and made ordering safely very easy. Definitely would recommend!

Me and my husband went there for my birthday lunch. The westher wasn't to great hence it was very quite down the bay. Our server was Callum very nice person. Immediately came to receive us and sat us on the table we want to sit. He arrived promptly to take our orders. The menu did looked very interesting. There were quite a few items which were new. We ordered a drink and our mains. I wanted to ordered Pescada Blanco bobo but unfortunately it wasn't available that time, as they just had delivery and couldn't be prepared. Hence I went for Bahian Coconut chicken it was really delicious and filling. My husband went for the same. We ordered for drinks Coconut cooler

Lovely place. We ordered our food but we were given a different burger by mistake. The lovely waitress gave us some drinks on the house which was a kind gesture. Absolutely loved it there, will return.

Great food before going to the theatre. 4 different meals, all really good. Cocktails were 2 for 1. Coincidentally the waiter sounded Mexican, he was really good too.

Lovely views outside, music is good as per usual - consistent with other branches in London, Birmingham & Oxford. I was able to walk-in and get a table for 1. I used the QR code to order and pay however the service was very slow compared to other branches. It took 25 minutes for mains to arrive which isn’t too bad for a solo diner however I’ve received it in lesser time. I had to ask twice for the dessert to be brought over despite having already paid - wait time was another 35 minutes. The waiting around ruined the experience a little. (Should have remembered my EarPods!). If you’re making a whole experience out of it guess the waiting time won’t bother you, if grabbing a quick bite to eat - it isn’t quick! Maybe a one off

Absolutely amazing day having bottomless brunch served by Welsh and Lilly. Experience made so special thanks to them. Welsh should be management 😘 100% return, drinks on point and served impeccably. Food high standard and again very good service. Thank you las iguanas Cardiff Bay.

We came for a works night out, by far the best bottomless brunch service you could ask for. We didn't need to ask for a single drink to be brought over, they were bringing drinks out faster than we could finish them! Highly recommend! Ashley and Olivia were excellent!

Food was no more than so so. Margaritas were the sweetest thing I've ever drunk with no salt on rim, I couldn't even finish mine. But what really took the cake was the service. The person who seated us may as well have asked us to leave as our being there was obviously a great burden that offended her immensely. Basically treated as a pain for being there. Maximum 20 people in the restaurant, with 4 floor staff yet I witnessed 3 people separately get up from their tables to find some attendance. One guy had to do so twice. Never again. Note to the floor staff, if you can't be bothered to do your job, find another profession. I always aim to have friendly interactions with hospitality staff as I work in the industry too - this place just put me off my food. Went to a different chain restaurant upstairs from Iguanas sometime later the same day - greeted with a smile and friendly efficient service whilst watching the manager training new staff and attending to customers. We dined on Thursday 5th of May around 2pm if anyone in management cares to encourage the staff on that day to at the most basic treat the people paying their wages with an iota of respect and at best with some friendliness.

The food and service was amazing! We were well looked after and even got a free glass of champagne to celebrate. Our server was very fun to chat with and showed so much enthusiasm to make sure we are having a good time. Absolute steal for the price when you apply the student discount as well.

Great location!!!!!! Good sized restaurant. Visited in a large party on a Saturday night that we hadn’t booked! The staff where extremely accommodating with us and bent over backwards to make sure we all fitted in. Person manning the door was excellent (flowery shirt and curtains hair style) Only reason not a 5* was because the ladies toilets where horrid….used sanitary products everywhere, overflowing bins in every cubicle!Really quite gross! But other then that cannot fault! Food and staff where excellent!

Good food, lovely service and usually a lovely atmosphere, it was very quiet as it was 2pm on a Wednesday. It's very expensive now compared to other places, no afternoon deals! Also, the house red is only 10.5% and is an overpriced plonk! It's a shame as I used to love it here!

Perfect dining experience. Came here for a pre theatre meal so was a bit time sensitive but everything was out in less than 10 minutes. Food was top notch, can’t go wrong with a taco sharing board. Watermelon margaritas also hit the spot. Real stand out was the service, both the greeter and our waiter were friendly and attentive. Would recommend wholeheartedly

Average food 1. Nachos were served cold and soggy to begin with 2. Burrito was cooked before and the wrap was not stiff and was stale 3. The only good thing was beetroot and bean burger which was fresh Disappointed with the first experience

Had a great night at iguanas. Pasha and Sean shaun looked after us really well. We were well drunk and they kept us topped up and dealt with all our behaviour with a smile. The service was great and they even replaced a steak that had gristle in it without a murmur. Excellent service with a smile. Cannot speak highly enough of them bith

I went in with my partner for our sixth anniversary, and we'd booked a table online before arriving. In the online booking, we left a note saying I have extreme social anxiety, and the staff were *very* accomodating about it. They were incredibly friendly and kind, and the atmosphere was wonderful. The food was honestly amazing and we spent the whole time in the restaurant talking about when we'd next come back, so we will definitely be returning when we're next in Cardiff. 100% would recommend!

Obviously a chain restaurant but staff were polite and efficient and the food was really good! Thoroughly enjoyed. We had a selection of tapas (5 dishes) and a side was enough to beat 2 of us with good appetites and was pretty reasonable for the amount of food we got! Nice views out of the glass fronted windows and the windows all slid open (it was a heatwave day) so nice and airy.

We had Bottomless Brunch here last weekend for my Mum's hen do and we had an amazing time. We were served by Owen who all 15 of us would love to give a huge shout out to for being absolutely fantastic. The service was incredible. Some places like to be slow at topping up drinks to limit value for money but Owen was fantastic. The food did take a little while but as a large table of 15, that's to be expected! It all came at the same time, all hot and delicious. We had the best time and I would 100% come back and do it again. Just wanted to say another huge thank you again to Owen for being so fantastic!

I was a guest but could not but help know that the prices were very attractive. More importantly the food is superb. It well deserves the 5 stars I have awarded it. If you like a selection of Central and South American food then this is the place. Will return as soon as I can.

Lovely food but sloooow service. We went invisible to our server at one point and ended up not having a dessert because it took her 12 minutes just to come back with the dessert menu after leaving us sitting for 35 minutes with empty plates in front of us. Spent 2hrs 20 minutes for two courses. Will stick to the Newport branch in future.

We're really fond this restaurant, although not usually a fan of chains, this Cardiff Bay restaurant always delivers. It's a step above the Swansea one, where I live, and better also than the original Cardiff one in Mill Lane. Today didn't disappoint, our server, Sean, was really friendly, sitting us on a bigger table even though there was too of us, Tapas was about to be ordered so more room needed. Seeing there were some new options on the menu, we thought we'd try a couple of the veggie choices, we're not veggies but are trying to keep an open mind. In total we ordered nachos, cauliflower bites, corn rib elotes, quesadilla with garlic & mushrooms & calamares. Maria also had a couple of caipirinhas, 2-1 it seemed, all day! The food was absolutely delicious, including cauliflower, which I don't normally like. Sean looked after us well, rounding of the experiences beautifully. Three thumbs up, will definitely be back.

Had a really good time celebrating a friend’s birthday here. As we opted for Bottomless Brunch, Jake who served us made sure our drinks were topped up at all times and had some great cocktail suggestions! He made our experience amazing and kept checking in to see if everything was running smoothly! Would definitely come again, thank you Jake for a great experience!

Food was absolutely gorgeous! Already planning a second trip there. We ordered 5 tapas dishes to share between 2 and there was more than enough food to fill us both. Cocktails were just what we needed on a scorching day! Worth booking a table in advance as it was really busy. All in all, A*😊👍

WOW what an incredible experience we had! We randomly decided to do the bottomless brunch last minute and it didn’t disappoint! Having done many bottomless brunch’s before, this was by far the best one yet! We were treated like royalty and the hospitality was superb! A big shout out to Kasia & Welsh for the amazing customer service and experience you provided us! Your cocktails were outstanding and you both made our day extra special! Overall... Terrible service, cold food, no attention to detail and quite ignorant. Which is a shame. As other restaurants of this chain I've attended are no where near on this level of bad! Avoid! Went for a meal before a show. They say you can make a good first impression within minutes of arriving and I had hoped I was wrong. Firstly, we were ignored by the front desk for about 5 mins and there being 2 staff in the vicinity. Eventually we were seated. The venue was so loud, a combination of music and shouting. We had to raise our voices to even communicate to each other. Service was appalling. There was no method to the madness. We waiting an excessive amount of time to even be acknowledged by a server. The table adjacent to us (that was seated before us) was served long after we were. Eventually we were attended to. When we did eventually get food we had yet to receive our drinks! To make matters worse the food was cold! Food was swiftly returned to the kitchen. We did get a resemblance of hot food eventually. They even had the audacity to walk a full black bin bag through the restaurant. I've never seen such a thing in my life. Despite the poor service we observed an excessive amount of staff and 3 managers on site. Begs the question what were the management team managing?
