Booked last minute on a Tuesday night for 7.30pm, on arrival we were warmly greeted by a young server, she quickly had to clean down our table but then directed us to a booth style seating for the four of us. The young lady was really fantastic, doing plenty of check backs and was extremely attentive and absolute credit to any business and always something that makes the dining experience a real delight unfortunately I didn't get her name but we were on table 10 and if you are so lucky to be served by her everything will go smoothly. The food was absolutely delicious, extremely tasty and well flavoured, portions were good, I always feel starters can be slightly expensive for the amount you get but just a personal preference. We had 2 courses and 2 drinks each along with a couple shots and it came to £188, also if you have a totum student discount card it's 25% off food Sunday through Thursday which is fantastic value. Overall for very tasty food, 2-1 cocktails I felt this is great value, the only negative I would add is it was rather loud atmosphere wise not something you might encounter depends who's in but worth noting it can bring a vibrant crowd. A really great night though and would recommend this location to anyone in the area.

Came Sunday 26th November with my sister as her early birthday celebrations, to the Mill Lane branch. Was greeted by the lovely Kamila who was an absolute joy. So friendly and enthusiastic. She remembered our order off the top of her head, food and drinks included, very impressive! Order was quick. Food arrived hot, so so tasty. Kamila made sure everything was good for us and that we were happy. She honestly made our night. Sometimes you arrive and feel like you're just a table number but she really gave it that personal touch.

Can not express my disappointment enough, see attached photo. Cuban sandwich extremely dry and uninspiring. Fries which seems to be cooked from frozen, even KFC has nicer fries. Coleslaw was literally just shredded cabbage... Halloumi was barely warm. Coke was very watered down Chicken quesadillas and chicken wings were decent though. Will not be returning.

Had a lovely vegan meal and cocktails. Lovely staff and very helpful. Service a bit slow but maybe thats the service standards these days.

Fantastic service, food was delicious and our server Lavina? was top notch and was really helpful advising meal selection for my children who wanted to experiment. 3 courses ordered and empty plates were returned. The kids loved their Mocktails too.

Went for birthday celebrations as received a birthday offer buy 1 main get 1 free. We were hoping to get our free Pina Coladas but sold out which was a little disappointing 😞. However I was offered a free cocktail instead which was nice. Enjoyed our cocktails and food was lovely, very tasty. Fast service.

Food was incredible, I had the quesadillas (beef and cheese) with chips. The food arrived piping hot and was delicious, however, getting to this point was the issue. The service was really quite slow and the staff weren’t particularly helpful. There was a group of 6 of us, we’d organised the order so we knew exactly what we wanted to try and be a little more helpful, but the staff ignored us for so long that we went to ask if we could order food. We also ordered drinks at the same time and they came out at the same time as the food which was a pretty long wait. The food itself was really tasty and I did enjoy it, but the service could’ve been improved.

The place has happy hours almost every day. The food comes out amazing, I personally like their fajitas. A large selection of cocktails goes well with the food. Vegan options are clearly labeled too.

Good vegan/vegetarian options here - burritos were delicious. There were also some very delicious fruity drinks, both mocktail and cocktail. I would say around dinner time it got very loud and crowded - I understand I went during rush hour and holiday season so I think it may have just been a bad time for a more quiet dinner. But just a warning if that's what your looking for, don't pick a peak time :)

I've been to a few bottomless brunches in Cardiff now, but this one has to be one of the best! The food was amazing and just the right amount. The cocktails were delicious and the service was super quick. Vicky was our waitress and she was amazing! Will definitely be recommending to everyone and I'll definitely be returning!

Came for my friends 19th birthday, and the staff couldn't be more welcoming. On different experiences normally the staff wait for the group to finish drinks before ordering more but today they've gone above and beyond to treat us all so nice and constantly ordering drinks for us. Cat, our server was especially nice to all of us, even bringing a prosecco out for this stuffed animal, named playa, for a bit of fun. Will 100% be returning<3

I can understand slow service on a busy day but poor food is never an excuse. Ordered the burger. Overcooked patty, dry bun, no lettuce, no tomato, no gherkin, no sauce. Definitely not what's advertised on the menu. Table of 6 people with two more complaints about the food. Just not worth it

Variety on the menu Limited compared to what it used to have. Still very good food. 5 tapas dishes are still great value for money. Cocktails are one of the best places in Cardiff especially on a 2 for 1!

We went here for my housemates birthday, the food was excellent (2 for 1 cocktails were very good I love the passion fruit sour bomb) and the service was amazing- Josh was a great laugh. Very enjoyable evening!

Been here twice and once in center parcs longleat and each time the food has been absolutely stunning, packed full of flavours,the staff are friendly,great service plus the 2-4-1 cocktails were a great bonus,highly recommend the mojito, perfect end to a great meal

Las Iguanas is always good, food is a little bit more interesting than other chains. We had a burrito bowl, sharing tacos platter plus some sides and drinks. Food was great and service was prompt - despite being very busy (Wales playing football, Peter Kaye live and Blondie playing Cardiff Castle). Keep it up all and see you again soon

The food was amazing here - a couple of starters and one main course is more than enough for two people! The 2 for 1 on alcohol was a nice bonus, two pitchers is around 8 drinks total... They're a little watered down due to the amount of ice that's added in, but still nice nonetheless. Food was hot and served immediately the atmosphere was lovely too! Definitely one to try if you've never been!

Me and my partner had an amazing time at Las Iguanas. The food was outstanding, and was brought to the table very promptly. The drinks were brought to the table within minutes of ordering, even though the restaurant had multiple large bookings. The service we received from both Sofia and Fraser was flawless, and done so with optimism and professionalism. Will definitely be returning for more food and drinks in the future!

We ate at an outside table on a very warm night. It was a lovely spot under the trees. Our staff person was very helpful although staff was overwhelmed. The food was all excellent. I would have expected a Latin restaurant to offer sangrias, which it did not.

The food was lovely and well cooked. The staff were attentive without being overbearing. Cocktails were buy one get one free which was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend.

Great latin restaurant in cardiff, super friendly and serviceminded staff. Lots to choose from on the menu. The food was very welltasting and good size portions for the money ( i had poppadoms and brazillian xinxim) great atmosphere in the restaurant i can highly recommend at visit, if you are in the area.

Not been to Las Iguana since covid and wow the menu as grown so much!! There are so many vegetarian options! We were asked about allergies on the door which was fantastic. We went for tapas, I had the Mushroom quesadillas, Halloumi with Sweet Chilli Jam and the Califlower Popcorn. It was all delicious and my Fiancé enjoyed his Tapas as well. Everything was hot. It was quite busy when we went and when we sat down we saw that a booth was free and asked our waiter if we could move, he went and checked and cleaned the table for us so we could move there which we really appreciated. Food was delicious, drinks were lovely, staff were great. Toilets were ok too Lovely experience!

Absolutely amazing service (Lavinia, was our waitress and was just superb !!) We ordered the steak .... unbelievably stunning, the accompanying sweet potato fries, cooked to perfection AND the 2 different pots of ... sheer herbs/spices to spread onto steak .... were a PURE INDULGENCE !!! WELL DONE the chef & team !!!!! STUNNING FOOD !!!

Music, I'd say is a bit too loud. Calamares... I think the staff that chooses their food provider hasn't seen Calamares in their life time... But that's a chain company issue. Picture show my leftovers... 80% of the £7.5 tapas. The staff was really friendly though, but that is not enough. Too expensive for what you get. It was my first time and the last one.

On a very busy Saturday in Cardiff, after endless restaurants turning us down, the amazing host was able to seat us in around 10 minutes. The run off their feet staff were smiley and friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble. The food was really tasty too and came out in good timing, which in a busy restaurant is certainly an achievement. We were very happy with our visit. Thank you

The force was strong with Zoe whose friendliness and service was out of this planet. Our food was a world of flavour and our cocktails took us to the dark side of sobriety (in a good, passionfruity way). All the staff we saw were delightful troopers and Yoda better bet that we'll be back like Luke Skywalker and Darth Maul. Feliz navidad!

Came here for the 241 cocktails.. they were delicious.. Setting is lovely.. we were however ignored when we first arrived, a staff member just kept walking past us.. Would have been nice just to have been acknowledged and told someone would be with us shortly. The gentleman who did eventually see to us was lovely and the cocktails made up for it.

We hadn't booked but we were squeezed in. Waiting staff were very attentive ... tried to order mains twice! We do enjoy the plantain here .. (maybe the Southbank plantain was slightly better) .. squeaky cheese and chilli jam 😋 yum!!! Staff sorted my intolerance out and changed my dish no problem ... requested a takeaway box as couldn't eat it all! Bill sorted promptly when mains accidentally charged twice. Staff professional and friendly.. highly recommend and would visit again

Really good food and cocktails! Only downside was that we were sat right in the middle & still had to try & catch the waiters/waitresses attention. Felt they were too busy looking after the bigger groups around us. Shame otherwise I would have given 5*s.

Love it everytime I go, the best nachos! Stephen was our server the last time we went and we were thoroughly looked after! There was a few drink spillages but they were replaced quickly and we were given free puddings! One of my favourite places in Cardiff.

Stefan was amazing! He was polite, attentive, and gave us time when we're couldn't make our choices from the menu. Food was hot, tasty, and plentiful. The only complaint was the lack of soap in the ladies toilet (even after we had asked for the soap dispenser to be refilled). A great evening.

Stopped in here for drinks with my wife. Nice setting, we sat outside with the heaters. The drinks were good, service was good. Not been here for food in years, but it was good last time we came. Will visit again

It was nice. Disappointed because they removed my favourite starter, the fondue. I had the calamari instead which was nice but a little rubbery. The coconut chicken meal was nice though. I'd have also preferred better seating. Where we sat was in the back corner where you could barely hear the music or see daylight.

Had a great experience! Late night dinner date, with great tasting food and plenty of cocktail choices to choose from. Was very pleased with the service there by Stefan, helpful with providing recommendations for drinks and making us feel welcome. Overall, would 100% come back here in the future.

Vicky was a great server very attentive and made our experience here one to remember. We had the fajitas followed by churros (which were divine). The cocktails were amazing. Watching the bartender make our drinks was very cool and will defiantly come back soon
