Great place, EXCELLENT music (rock-pop), lovely staff. Food fair taste (Good portion) - much variety of beers, all tasted very good! Loved the place and definitely will return if possible

Awesome beers and burgers, gets super busy of an evening but at lunch it's quiet. Good it great quality and they always have a good rotation of guest cider on, but it's Tiny Rebel, why do you need any other beer? Visit the brewery in Newport too if you have time. Same vibe, bigger place with outdoor area.

I actually stopped here after tasting one of their beers at a nearby restaurant. I enjoyed it so much that I had to stop by and grab another glass as well as try their other beers. It was a cute place with decent food. Definitely recommend if you're in the area. I wish they offered it in the U.S. so stock up while you can.

Absolutely love the place and beer on tap! Tiny Rebel is one of my favourite beer and glad that we tried it on tap! Here you could find an array of special flavours that aren’t sold in supermarket and the food was unexpectedly nice as well.We had been here 3 times during our 3-day visit in Cardiff - soo you know you should come here haha! They do a lot of regular activities night like comedy/live music, highly hope that they would open a branch in london!

This place is great for any number of reasons. The last Wednesday of the month has a karaoke night which is a great way to blow off steam while enjoying the great selection of ales. Additionally the food here is great love the dirty fries and they have a massive Sunday lunch with all the trimmings you won't leave hungry that's for sure.

What a great place! Fantastic atmosphere, great selection of beers and ciders. Food was really lovely, so tasty, well priced for the portion size. Would definitely recommend the Rebel Fries. You will not be disappointed!

Made a pilgrimage here on a Tuesday as was in Cardiff for my sons graduation. I have been a fan of their beers for years so the chance to finally try some on draft was too good to miss. The range is extensive (go with halves) so be warned and take your time. The venue is deceptively large right next to Cardiff stadium and has a look that totally fits the Tiny Rebel brand image. Even though it was midweek we booked a 17:15 slot and glad we did as the place packs out. Now normally the food in these places is average as the beer is the selling point however the food was great and well priced. The satay aubergine was fantastic as was the Tokyo and Mykonos burgers we had. Special props should be given to the knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff (ask to try if you don't fancy a full glass of some of the more obscure offerings) All in all for a Tiny Rebel beer experience, with good food on top you can't go wrong!

Great beer and a wonderful Sunday lunch. Will be back. Takes a while for the meal to be delivered but I reckon its because it's freshly done. Sunday lunch has got to be one of the best pub style lunches in the City Centre. Never managed to finish one yet but they are great and large! Well worth a visit. Last visit today, 12th November 23.

Lovely place, ideal locations for concert days at the principality! Plenty of seats, well priced menu and lovely staff. We went for the wings, a burrito and some truffle fries. All really good, though I did think the truffle fries could've been better (a little dry). My husband didn't like the ale, but he doesn't like ales and fancied a try! Their own cola is delicious.

Great selection of beers and Ales. Had the rebel burger and fries which was nice although the mustard on the burger was super overpowering. Venue was super cool and themed all the way through to the bathrooms. Lots of cool events as well. For £12.5 for the burger and £4.5 for my cider will definitely go again if I'm in the mood for better quality drinks. Sadly only 4 stars due to the burger tho

We loved the Newport one so visited the Cardiff one the next night. It was a different vibe and was super busy. Food was still amazing except I couldn't get a side of ranch as it wasn't available on the till...I ended up ordering a side of onion rings just to get some. Beer always lovely!

Huge selection of craft ale from this rising brewery. Bar has great atmosphere with friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

A pilgrimage for every beer lover, Tiny Rebel have amazing beers and if you're a fan you'd love the beers on tap as they're not always available in cans! Atmosphere is amazing, the staff are passionate about the brand and beer and will give great recommendations. Really enjoyed my visit and will return as soon as I can!

Such an awesome bar! Big fan of TR and I enjoyed seeing (and tasting) some of their beers which I haven’t seen elsewhere. Great space too with lots of cool-sounding events, and really friendly staff. Amazing vegan options - we got the Miami dirty fries as a snack and they were SO good! Generous portion size too. Would love to come back.

Enjoyed a busy Saturday evening, and a quiet Monday lunch at TR Cardiff. Beers were fab, especially the 11th birthday ones, and the food was very tasty, especially the black sheep burger. Friendly staff who were working their socks off. Good choice of merch too if you want to look the part. One tip would be for the staff to know a wee bit more on the beer blends, I know it's a one off occasion however with the blends being on Insta it would've been good to get some tasting advice.

Cool brewery/bar! Loved the atmosphere and the beer. Really interesting flavor profiles on some of their beers but any beer lover will find something to suit their taste. They also offer takeaways. The staff was great! I was assisted in picking out some beers to take home as souvenirs.

Obviously great beer (although the milkshake beer is challenging). The food (rebel burger and 6 pcs boneless wings) was very tasteful and great bbq sauce. Fries perhaps a time to long in the frying pot. Additional, the 3 meter urinal is a must see….

A little disappointed in the beer selection. Loads of taps, but nothing out of the norm. Staff a little disinterested until you add a tip on the card machine they leave the tip screen up on when they hold it out to you. This would of made it 3 stars, but the fantastic veggie / vegan food makes it a 4. The vegan ribs were incredible. Plus they do frickles, that's always a win for me

We finally came to have a Sunday dinner after saying we would for over a year and my God we were not disappointed. It was absolutely incredible. There was attention to detail in the smallest of things and one was out of place. We have now decided this is our place for a Sunday roast. Incredible. The drinks, goes without saying, Wales' finest and the service was top notch as always.

  • 5/5 Rachel B. 7 months ago on Google
We always enjoy the beer on offer, but we were really impressed with our recent Sunday Roasts. I had chicken, my partner had beef, both were piping hot and with a good selection of veg/sides. We’ll definitely be back!

Not a huge fan of tiny rebel beer but gave their taproom in Cardiff a try. The 2 beers I had were both cask and I wasn’t overly keen on either. The pub generally felt quite unclean. The interior and decor was cool and the beers were well priced. Generally just OK.

Fab pub. Great beer and friendly team. Well worth a visit but worth booking a table. Good food too!

Beautiful burger, hoisin chicken strips and dirty fries. Staff were friendly and efficient. Dog friendly as well, which is a huge plus.

Good range of beers, including several guest breweries besides Tiny Rebel. Lots of Tiny Rebel options on cask and can, with enough to suit all tastes. Personally I'd say some of the beers come under the novelty category and tend towards too sweet but they have enough staple options that you don't feel forced to drink a pint that you don't want. Friendly bar staff and great service, and happy to offer tasters for all the cask options. Also some interesting merchandise and take out options that set it apart from your typical bar.

Lovely staff, great beers, fab wings

Great beer, great settings, could of been 5 star but the service wasn't good at the bar, customers stood waiting for drinks while staff were on laptops.

  • 3/5 Dion C. 2 years ago on Google
Did not book a table so we had a barrel. It was interesting to try the different flavours but I guess you have to like ale to be able to drink it lol friendly staff

  • 4/5 Zoe T. 2 years ago on Google
Good range of beer as you would expect. Pretty decent atmosphere not full to the brim. 70/80/90's rock being played... Bar staff lovely... Door staff a bit intense and miserable, but I suppose its to be expected 😂

Nice bar and good selection of beers, very helpful staff.

Good local beer, city pub atmosphere. They don't take cash anymore so keep that in mind if you're a cash person. Quite pricey at circa £5 a pint.

Very good. Great staff. Ambience. Location. And amazing shots. Perfect place to end the night 💃

We were happy to finally visit the bar of one of our favourite breweries! Great location and a quirky old building. All bar staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the beers, even the door security were good for a laugh as well. Would definitely recommend that you visit and try some awesome beers.

Tiny Rebel’s anything but Tiny Sunday Roast Woke up to a grey and chilly Sunday in Cardiff: so after a zillion coffees to perk me up and staggering the streets in comfy sweats, today called for only one thing...a cosy Pub Sunday Lunch. Half of my university tuition was pumped into Tiny Rebel…well behind their bar anyway. But I never gave my whole hearted attention to their food menu. And frankly - what the hell have I been doing with my life!? 🚨 So news in: Tiny Rebel are serving one of the best Sunday Roasts I’ve had in the city!!…and why have I just found this out!? I mean just look at it - we were STUFFED! (Zoom into the menu to see the list of trimmings!)⚡️ The juiciest meat, crispiest roasties and sexiest little cauliflower cheese I’ve had!! Oh and that braised red cabbage, it was so reduced and smooth, it was like having sweet cabbage jam in my mouth! 🔥 yes please!! We managed to grab a table before the lunchtime rush, but even that was a close call. So book ahead and enjoy what I’ve always believed to be the best pub atmosphere Cardiff has to offer. And guys at Cardiff Tiny Rebel, todays playlist was👌🏻!! 🍻 Attentive staff, gorgeous food, lush beer, banging music and doggo friendly! 🍻

Good selection of Tiny Rebel beers, but perhaps a little disappointed that there didn't appear to be anything new and exciting on tap. Did manage to try something I hadn't had before from the fridge.
