Went here for unlimited Wings Wednesday; I must admit it is certainly “High Risk, High reward” as I had to cancel all my plans the next day but it was so worth it. The wings were delicious, the sauce was delicious, larger was delicious and I bet the decor, lighting and atmosphere is delicious. Coupled that with their speedy service, the workers know what we are here for. We had so much meat, it’s like a ‘twink’ during Pride week. Would definitely come back here for more wings.

Quality beer and great atmosphere. Easy to order on the app. Has plenty of variety. Great for groups!

Standard Brewdog, but lacked a bit of atmosphere. Visited on Bank Holiday Monday so was surprised of this. Could hear staff convos, one member got told by another to quieten down but still continued on. Only stayed for food and 1 drink because of this. The table service app doesn't allow for discount 'for punks' to be added. Burger & beer tasty as usual

You want a good time in the capital? Go to brewdog, it’s not just in the heart of the city, it is the heart of the city. Great food (especially for vegans) even better drinks. Relaxed atmosphere and an entertainment area downstairs in the basement. The only thing missing was capes on the staff as they were ‘super’

Lovely bar with great service. I loved their vegan burgers and how cool is it that they do vegan Mondays, defo going to be coming back for the offers. Great value for money and very enthusiastic staff who seem to love what they do. Loads of different beers on tap but also have great wine options for us non beer folk.

I recently visited BrewDog in Cardiff for a flying visit during the day. The staff were very helpful and chatting, helping me understand the different offers they had on at the time to get the best value for money and the food was excellent. Would definitely return back to BrewDog in Cardiff next time I'm in the city.

Update from a visit on 13.01.24. Not been here for a while as have moved from Cardiff. The urinals in the gents were absolutely disgusting! Obviously not been cleaned in weeks. Love the bar, however they're policies make no sense. They seem obsessed with bookings. I was here on Saturday afternoon 27.11.21, and they turned lots of people away. I counted at least 25 empty seats. Just let people be aware that they may only have time for one drink before the table is taken. (If indeed the reservers bother to turn up). I walked in and was offered a table until 1530. Fine. I was one person on a table of 8! Crazy. What happened to first come first served? Makes me so angry. It's a really bad way to treat people who just want a beer or two. It must be nice to be making so much money that you can afford to turn away business.

Sorry to say standards have slipped with the new members of staff. Beer served in incorrect glassware and overcharged (only by 20/30p) on beers. Insistent policy on reservations during peak hours dulls the atmosphere and isn’t very punk

Went with a friend from work, on a whim. Lovely looking place; however, you don't go to a burger place for the decor!! Food was shocking for £13 a burger. Maybe worth £4 at best for a mediocre burger in a capital city. You really need to up your game. Fries were OK.. and don't even get me started on the price on some of their beers.. £ 5.50 for half pint of roaster coaster when you can buy a full can for £2.75. Would I return? No. Would I recommend..? No.

Large selection of beer allows you to taste before you buy. Friendly service. The burgers are well made but the fries were either cooked in old oil or at too low a temperature as they were a bit on the greasy side and had a bit if an 'old oil' after taste. However, I admit this could also be due to my being more used to oven chips.

Love Brewdog Cardiff. Visited numerous times in the last few years and the laid back atmosphere and friendly staff are a definite draw. Great beers and good food. Staff can often guide you and give you tasters to help you choose from an ever evolving array of house and guest beers. Love the takeaway beer fridge for something special too. Like Arnold Schwarzenegger, I will return…

Love going to this bar. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. Ben Thompson is so knowledgeable and passionate about the beer. I took a friend in from work and he was advised what to have by being asked what type of beers he likes and was even given a small taster to try first. I really enjoy the non alcoholic cans and also the gins. Great bar with a great feeling always.

Very nice pub, dog friendly. Food is good, especially the vegan options. Nice assortment of beers. I recommend going on the 2 for 1 vegan Monday.

It was a large friendly group which made the experience really enjoyable. The young man giving the information was well informed and the information he gave was clear and easily understood. The pairing of the cheeses with the beers was a very interesting experience. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and learnt so much so my beer drinking will be much more pleasurable. Thanks to all involved.

First the good: wings were good. Pleased with those but, needs celery or carrot sticks to be included. Especially for the price. Not cheap. The long bar and seating was convenient enough. Very much like home at an American sports bar. Now the bad: there is a rainbow "safe space" sticker on the door which is ridiculous. And the presence of all the gay flags was ridiculous as well. Sexual orientation has ZERO to do with a restaurant unless that's your theme. Keep it and politics out of the eating venues please. Ultimately, I'd return IF the majority of whoever I was with wanted to go but if I returned on my own accord, it would be takeaway.

Nice bar with friendly staff, especially Mr Perth (sorry we didn't get your name). A traditional BD that's worth finding, with a good variety of beers.

Used to be one of my favorite spots when I lived in Cardiff, plenty of space, good beer, decent food. Giving it a late five star review to counter the 1-star spam from cash-obsessed people.

Nice place and great beer. However, the size of the vegan hamburger could definitely be improved. For the price, it was incredibly small and didn’t even include fries.

Went to try Wings Wednesday. Very poor quality. It was supposed to be all you can eat Wings. First 10 brought out were luke warm. Took 40 minutes until the next 5 arrived. The Wings were not great quality or particularly tasty. Would do better to use genuine Frank's Buffalo Sauce. No excuse for slow service as only 1 other person during our 6- 8pm sitting was eating Wings. Server's struggled to smile as well, not great in an expensive hospitality outlet. Beer was OK which I guess is the reason to go here, we'll be giving it a miss in future as there's plenty if good alternative beer on Westgate Street.

Fantastic beer and great food but the place is minging! I'm a big brewdog fan boy and love the bar in Bath so thought I would try cardiff. Really disappointed as this place is just filthy, dirty walls, dirty sticky tables and the gents was disgusting and this was a visit on a quiet Saturday afternoon not a busy Saturday night. Sort it out brewdog! Get a lick of paint on the walls and run a mop over the place for fox sake.

They wouldn't let me shandy a £16.85/pint stout. The fatherly figure I had been missing all my life. Thanks for the great service, special mention to Jack, Ben and Bianca who took care of me.

Came here for the unlimited wings. They bring you 12 and then you go to the bar to ask for "top ups" of 5 at a time. But they take 15 to 20 mins to bring each top up out so by the time they bring the 3rd plate you're probably done. (No, it wasn't busy in here) Honestly, wings were delicious and they would have got a much better score but I went to the bar after and started talking to the server about how good the wings were and he looked at me like I just called him a tosser, shrugged and said "OK, what can I get you". Obviously when he handed me the card reader it was asking if I want to tip... lol. Not the best experience I've ever had but I ate 22 wings for £12 so not a totally wasted evening.

I love Brewdog's ales, the bar/restaurant atmosphere is nice enough and the ordering process was easy enough. £13.75 for a small-ish burger (you'd expect a mammoth burger for that sort of money) then paying £3.50 extra for a small pot of chips is ludicrous, fries should be included as is standard in any other sit-in restaurant. The food was again, fine but nothing about it was mind-blowing to warrant the cost. £17.25 for a burger and chips is crazy in my view. Hence the 3-stars review.

We had a fantastic afternoon here. Obviously, the beer is amazing 🤩 🤣 and the burgers are super tasty! Safe, clean environment, we actively witnessed staff cleaning tables and chairs throughly after use and major touch points. Staff are super friendly and helpful too! If you’re in Cardiff, visit! Thank you 👊🏻👋🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🍻😍😋

Good choice of beers, of course. Very tasty and spicy wings. French fries are meh, not crunchy at all. Sweet potato fries are better, though nothing special either.

Thursday night we went there though because it's nice and quiet. We know the reason now. Staff member was drunk or something else. Was more important to flirt with a woman. When I said sorry, can I order answered back "you can wait" Beer tasted like dish water. Obviously, I didn't finish it. When I told him to taste horrible, I got an answer, "Your loss" Worst experience we ever had. Highly recommend don't go there!

Great spot for some decent beer. Customer numbers limited due to staff shortages, but we did eventually get a table. Lots on tap and the full range available in cans.

Been here a bunch of times. The food may be rubbish... hence the lack of a fith star... but otherwise all good. Love the beer, staff and overall cleanliness. Will be coming here more.

Can't really knock the place, Brewdog have found a winning formula that suits them with their venues and whilst nice you sometimes wish they were a bit more different. Staff were nice and the beer was good though I always think a bigger range of guest stuff would always be appreciated. that being said I did have a couple solid guest offerings from both tap and fridge so really I'm splitting hairs. This is certainly a nice place but of you're visiting the city as I was you'd be better served visiting some of the more unique/local/independent venues that the city has to offer.

BrewDog never disappoints and Cardiff was no exception. We had booked but had turned up really; no problem at all and were seated immediately. Wide selection of unique beers both regular treats and guest surprises! Great selection of fresh food available too; we ordered burgers which were all amazing. Many vegetarian and vegan options available. Easy to order online or though the app; bar staff were knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly as always.

Visited this branch yesterday and had a fantastic time. It was the first day reopening after Christmas lockdown and the staff were amazing. Our waitress in particular went above and beyond, lending my friend a phone charger and just generally making us really comfortable. The food was amazing. We were all vegan and made the most of the 2-for-1 vegan burger deal on Mondays. All were delicious and reasonably priced. The beer is of course good too, an interesting range and lots to try. Would come again, especially on a Monday, and would recommend.

Poor. Very poor. Went for wings Wednesday. Eaten wings around the world. Very average experience. One heat flavour, no choice of dip, fries 4.95 on top of wings. If you like wings avoid. If you like average ambience, service and value book in

Great place for a drink and a good atmosphere! Have had a few good drinking sessions here and would recommend for this. However, had food for the first time and have to say, it wasn't good value for money to be honest. Quite pricey with small portions and the quality was just above the mediocre line. But definitely not good enough to justify the cost. With all the great burger joints around cardiff city centre now, I just dont think this matches the competition. But you'll have a good pint...or third!

Staff member extremely rude to us. We walked in and waited a moment, looking towards the bar for staff. When we didn't see any we proceeded to a table. A very shocked staff member got very angry with us and escorted us back to the door to show us a sign we missed to stay at the door, asking us how we could have missed it and going through their policy in detail. It was an honest mistake. The sign is easy to miss. Didn't appreciate the rude, disproportionate and demeaning response.

Horrendously overpriced. Just realised I spent £60+ (and because I'd had a couple too many I tipped 10% (that set up with the tip on the card machine is a con too)), on 3 pints, two burgers and some fries. Coupled to that we had one member of staff barging past us at the bar on purpose at least twice (they asked us to stand at the bar until a table became available). Not a good vibe at all. Won't be going back. In fact this visit was enough to make me think about selling my shares in Brewdog. Edit: I wrote this before reading the reviews below. I note the passive aggressive responses to any reviews that don't give five stars. Must be the Brewdog culture in action.
