Extremely disappointed by service at bottomless brunch Saturday, I’ve been here many times and over the last couple months, though has been slow, staff have always been very friendly. Yesterday was a different story, we were served by Amber who was rude when I raised a concern about the drinks we had with coconut milk in them as they were curdled in our drinks and tasted off, she replied had asked how they tasted funny which I replied that I have been here many times and the drink tasted off and you can see it’s curdled, she then went on to say the coconut milk had been changed in the last 2 weeks and it does curdle but it would be a 30 minute wait for another and she was going on break in a few minutes so she was not dealing with it and walked off. Extremely disappointed and upset as I brought this up very politely. The table of 4 next to us also agreed it was like drinking curdled milk and had left theirs also. When brought up with another waitress, she was lovely and apologised then brought us new drinks but still very upset and shocked with how we were spoke to as there was no need for the rudeness and walking off. When she came back from break, even if she had just apologised then I would’ve understand as myself have worked in the hospitality industry. Really ruined my birthday brunch.

Great Jamaican food, we had a great time! I highly recommend the bottomless brunch, our waitress, Lucy, was very attentive and we had a great chat about nights out in Cardiff! The bar staff's cocktails were beautiful, too!

My son took me to Turtle Bay Cardiff for a father's Day treat. The food was lovely we had the prawns to start then salmon, squid fries and coleslaw. I had coconut ice-cream for dessert. The elderflower and mint drink. It was a good sized meal, and the quality was good. There was a nice atmosphere there and even though the place was very busy the service was good and we didn't wait too long for our food. I'll be back

This ambience is great! Atmosphere is chill and the staff is really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell that making the customers happy is their main priority. The food can’t get better and the prices are fair for the portion size. I highly recommend this place. Drinks - Strawberry Daiquiri, Virgin Kolada Starters - Crispy chili squid, Garlic pit prawns Mains - Chicken Roti Roll, Shack Stack Burger

What a brilliant place!!! We did the Upgraded Bottomless Brunch/Lunch - Food was very tasty and the cocktails were ace! Staff are friendly and polite. Pretty clean, toilets need a little tlc but all good 👍

Went for bottomless brunch - it started well but our server then went for lunch about 15/20 minutes into our booking. That would have been fine but no one had clearly been told to cover our section. In that time no one came to to see us - we were sat without drinks for at least 30 minutes and we only had a two hour slot - we didn't get to even order food until over an hour into our booking. We eventually were given our bill and told to order our last drinks whilst we were still eating. Bobby the manager then had the audacity to come over and ask us for a good review at the end. Will definitely not be returning for bottomless brunch again

Great few hours spent here with friends. We stayed for Happy hour, 2 for 1 cocktails. Great choice of cocktails at very reasonable prices.

My boyfriend and I attended the bottomless brunch on Sunday 27th June 21 and they did not disappoint! We’d been previously and had lunch/dinner but never the bottomless and it was amazing as always! The service from Alexandru was absolutely fantastic!! And his drink recommendations were absolutely spot on!! I would highly recommend just based on his outstanding service. The food was amazing and so were the cocktails. We will definitely be returning🍹

We got serviced by Alice today who was absolutely lovely! Super quick on the service, made sure we got lots of drinks and the food was the best we have had at any bottomless brunch!!! 10/10

I have visited here once before i recently visited again on monday and both times my partner and i have received amazing customer service. The staff are always so lovely and make sure you get your food and drinks quickly at bottomless brunch, unlike other places that takes ages to get you your drinks in the 2 hour slot. The food and drinks were the best i have had in a long time and everything was just perfect. I would definitely recommend this bottomless brunch and the restaurant in general for food , you won’t regret it!!😊❤️

Amazing. Mainly because our waitress Serena was so attentive and friendly. Even explaining the app to us, how to apply for a blue light card etc. going the extra mile with customers despite it being a busy Saturday night. Thanks for the great food, cocktails and service. Highly recommend the sweetcorn fritters and curry goat, and being there before 7pm for the 241 cocktails.

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool and the staff is also really friendly, specially Bart who went above and beyond for help us choosing the best drink following our expectations and for the amazing service and smile he give to us throughout our visit to the restaurant. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is just amazing, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it.

My birthday today and decided to go to turtle bay in Cardiff for drinks, Kai was our server and I have to say I have never had service as outstanding as his, he was very polite, knowledgeable and attentive, as soon as we were a few sips from finishing our drinks he was right there to take our next order. He was a absolute gentleman and really does deserve recognition for his hard work. Thank you Kai for a fantastic day, made my birthday 👍

Had an amazing time. We had a bottomless brunch slot for my birthday. Our server Alicia was really attentive and kept making sure we had another drink when we were almost done with our previous one. Cocktails were lovely and you definitely make the most of your money. Amazing service. Would 100% come again

Went here for bottomless brunch. Kai was on top of things the whole time. Brought us new drinks before we even knew we wanted them. Every time with his handsome smile. Charming and good service. Plus good food and great service. What more could you ask for at brunch?

A great place for food, drinks and atmosphere. The service was a little slow at times but I think this was just the staff allowing us to enjoy ourselves. I would definitely recommend and go back!

We had the BBQ jerk chicken breast and the Mo'bay chicken as well as the pineapple dessert and the cheesecake. Everything was good and tasty. Service was friendly and rapid (thanks Charlie).

The food was delicious and very well portioned, although the drinks were expensive even for a soda but not much of an issue. Our server Sami was amazing, very polite and kind. The only thing I was disappointed with was that despite all the space, we were placed right next to a group of girls drinking. It made me and my partner very uncomfortable as they were loud and disruptive, but we didn’t want to cause a scene being asked to move. I’m sure customers in future would appreciate being placed in a quiet area away from those drinking. Apart from that, everything was lovely.

Place has good atmosphere and service. Liked that there is 241 cocktails till 7pm. Food is on the spicy side but flavourful and nice. Mac and cheese is spicy. Beware.

We booked Turtle Bay for food and drinks as part of a date night and were served by Luke and Jerin, who are honestly a credit to the restaurant - friendly and attentive, without being intrusive and happy to give drink recommendations We had the black cherry rum which was one of the nicest rums I have has - highly recommend! The food was all 10/10. I had salt fish fritters to start, which were crispy and spicy and honestly my favourite part of the whole meal - I could have eaten another plate! I also had the jerk chicken breast with coconut rice, which I very much enjoyed. My boyfriend said his chicken wings were some of the best wings he has had and, while he isn’t sure he liked the goat curry, this is down to personal preference (the first time he had tried goat and he wasn’t overly keen on the meat) but the sauce, rice and fries were a winner! Over all a lush meal out, with fab service - we will be back soon. Thank you!

Very nice place for lunch. They had 1+1 on mocktails (I'm not able to drink a cocktail for lunch and survive), and their Caribbean food is very good (if on the spicy side). Tried the chicken with plantain and the jackfruit bowl. Would love to return and try some goat dishes as well!

Went in for a quick meal & some cocktails before seeing Blondie at the castle. Despite it being ridiculously busy with three different events on in the city, everything was perfect. Our server, Serena, was so lovely & cheerful and was so attentive even during what must have been a very intense & busy service. Our drinks were absolutely worth the wait - shout out to the barman doing literal trays of drinks at a time - and food was fantastic, flavourful, and portions were good. Vibrant, energetic atmosphere in the building with lots of people clearly having a great time. Thank you so much Serena!

This has become a must-do for every trip to Cardiff. Outstanding food, good prices, never disappoints ! Haven't had any food here I didn't like, it's all excellent. Shout-out to Ed for his spot-on dessert recommendation !

Casper was amazing and a huge credit to the turtle bay business. He explained us through the new app. Very easy to use and definitely an improvement to the experience. I was going to put a really good photo of the amazing food but ate it and forgot to take a pic. So enjoy my empty plate.

A fantastic Caribbean dining experience. Very attentive service combined with some of the tastiest seafood I have had the joy to eat. Highly recommended.

Expensive. 2 had macaroni cheese and said very bland. My half chicken with scotch bonnet was pretty mild but fine otherwise. Drinks also very expensive. Service was very hood.

Good food, really friendly staff. Turned up 10 minutes early, was seated somewhere else whilst our table was freed up instead of sent back outside. Ended up staying on the table we were originally given.

A group of friends and I went for bottomless brunch and it was, hands down, the poorest bottomless brunch we have ever been to. The waitress told us that drinks were limited to 1 drink every 15 minutes, and no drinks would be served until the drink in front of you had been emptied (not difficult giving the tea cup full of warm prosecco they served us). We tried moving to cocktails, but they took an age to arrive. Service was sloppy (it took three requests before a clean fork was provided) and the food was pretty underwhelming. The selection of dishes on offer for the £30 brunch deal were limited. The burger didn't come with any fries (fries were £3.90 extra) and was pretty small. I would never go back.

Robyn has been a great waitress, getting all our orders over to us really quickly and having been accommodating to our modifications.

Been here a few times in the past and always a pleasant experience and happy but last night was a disaster. Booked a table for 7:30 and didn't get seated til after 8pm even then we had to keep asking staff otherwise we would have been forgotten about. It took ages to even order food and when we did it took even longer to receive the starter, this happened to be the only part of the meal that came out. In total 3 hours we were there and no food apart from a starter so when we raised the issue the staff gave us a bottle of prosecco and 2 pints free. It was busy and the staff were doing their best but I just don't understand how the food orders never got sorted. Such a shame.

Thank you so much to Laura and her team who were very kind and welcoming to my friend and I who arrived without a reservation. The food was absolutely delicious but the vibe and the great service definitely made the visit and experience here even more memorable. Will be back again and highly recommend to anymore in the area.

Went before the wales game, seriously busy but the staff were excellent and very friendly with it. Food was good, fries were actually excellent and I could have happily eaten a second portion.

Booked for my baby shower. Really good food and cocktails, staff were very friendly and accommodating! We were a big table and due to traffic a lot turned up very late, however this wasn't a problem! Had the Mo Bay Chicken and it was amazing! Can't wait to go back!

Only giving 3 stars ... never been here before. Pleasant atmosphere although music was too loud for me...couldn't really have a conversation with friends. Service was great - can't fault that at all. Staff were friendly and attentive, didn't have to wait too long for food. The only thing that I found disappointing was the price of the food - For the price I did expect more than was served. The food I ordered was pleasant ... not too spicy for me, just expected a bit more than I got.

First time going for drinks in Cardiff and I'm not from here but all the staff here explained everything in detail so we knew exactly what was going on as we had the bottomless brunch. They were all so welcoming as well. Super helpful and friendly. We were served by Lucie and she did amazing. As someone who works in the same trade she was super friendly and even had the time to chat with us for a bit when she could. She was on the ball and never left us with an empty glass. Food and drink variety was amazing. Will definitely be coming back thanks to the super helpful and friendly staff!
