Wanted to enjoy a nice bank holiday lunch with the other half. Sadly we ordered food at 2.10pm and at 3.15pm we are still waiting. Trying to find out what's going, on the staff are not very informative or helpful and when placing our order they did not give us any warning on meal time. Place looks nice but a bit expensive for what is a typical weather spoon like pub.

Walked in around lunch time and the place was empty, didn't even see any staff. Eventually someone appeared and we ordered some food and drinks. She wasn't very enthusiastic or friendly. The food arrived and was bad. Nothing tasted fresh, the tacos didn't have enough cheese or anything, so they were just dry. Baked potatoes were still hard and uncooked. The fish and chips were okay, but the fish lacked any taste and was definitely not fresh. I highly reccomend not going here. Wetherspoons is just down the street if you want better food for cheaper. Should have left the place when we walked in and realized no one was there.

Can be a great place, but let down by bad management. Was enjoying a nice Sunday dinner with couple of mates and a live band turned out of nowhere. Decided place speakers right next to diners and blasted at uncomfortable volumes with no regards what’s so ever that people were near and still eating. Poor poor poor, wouldn’t have even mind if they asked us to move, but instead completely ignore we were there. Would not recommend or return.

Always pay a visit when I'm down the bay for a wine or two! Quite a good atmosphere in the evening when an event is on. Looking forward to my next visit already!

Beautiful bar with a wide selection of drinks. Great view of the bay too.

Nice location, food & drink menu extensive. Food chosen represented good value for money. We visited Saturday lunchtime & felt slightly letdown by the standard of the furnishings plus the fact that many tables had not been cleaned sufficiently from the night before!

Awful. Wanted £5 deposit per person to pre book a table for lunch time, glasses were dirty with old food dried and hairs in them.Tables were sticky and dirty, struggled to find enough cutlery and what we did find, most was dirty. Probabaly the worst food I've ever eaten out. It was disgusting and couldn't eat it. Went out for a celebration, Graduation meal and feel totally let down. Explains why the place was empty though when everywhere else was fully booked!

Good points doorman where great hired in staff where great. Beer reasonably priced. Bad points Made a reservation with terms of a £10 deposit per person for 7pm I arrive to pay my deposit and the terms where changed without anyone contacting me despite them having my details. Permanent staff looked board and need customer service training.

I have just returned from visiting the restaurant at Cardiff Bay very disappointed. The meal which had been booked a few weeks ago for a xmas outing with work colleagues was disappointing. The starters went ok but the main meal Turkey roast was awful. The vegetables were raw and could not be eaten. Complaint was made and an offer of a bottle of Prosecco as compensation was turned down as most of us were driving. A refund at least should have been offered. We had to ask staff to clear the tables who were just standing at the bar doing nothing. In all a disastrous meal the chef should be embarrassed that the food could not be eaten and plates sent back with food still left on them. Also the downstairs toilet was dirty. I can see this restaurant had gone to the dogs.

Waited an hour for our food to arrive, it was luke warm and some dishes cold. The toasted sandwich was so hard we could only eat the filling. We then asked for extra sour cream for one dish, were told we would have to pay extra (even after this wait)!!! Asked to speak to the manager and there was attitude straight away; she said ( as she was poking it with her finger) a toasted sandwich was supposed to be hard and dismissed the hour wait for food. Severely unimpressed, food was not worth the wait and the service was even worse. Should've gone to Gregg's

👍👍 Great Jamaican food, we had a great time! I highly recommend the bottomless brunch, our waitress, Lucy, was very attentive and we had a great chat about nights out in Cardiff! The bar staff's cocktails were beautiful, too!
