Is decent, nice big pub so lots of seats. Used the app and service was quick. Food came quickly and it was hot and tasty. Prices are a bit more but I think that's down to location so not really annoyed with that

When we arrived it was extremely busy here so the wait on food was 30 minutes which was fine. We ordered via the app and the drinks arrived rather quickly. I ordered jacket potato with five bean chili and unfortunately there was a tiny amount of chilli and this left the jacket potato very dry. As someone who cannot eat eggs due to an allergy I would like to see come vegan mayonnaise options to help with the dry food. The bbq pizza was nice and the beyond burger was delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant despite it being full. The pub has good accessibility for all needs.

Nice and busy Wetherspoons in Cardiff Bay. Slightly more expensive than City centre Spoons but I suppose you don’t have many other options. Nice selection of beers.

Quite a large spoons with upstairs seating along with plenty of outdoor seating when the weather would be nice. Ordered through the app as usual and the drinks came with the food over 20 minutes later, now I don't mind waiting for food but I expect the drinks to come quicker like they usually do, also the glasses were dirty. The staff seemed a bit miserable as well which was a shame as they are usually normally jolly. Food and value is a good as always. Overall though worth popping in as you know what to expect.

The Mount Stuart, a Wetherspoons pub in Cardiff Bay. It is split over is a two levels.. It has a lift. It has good views over the bay and an outside space to enjoy them. It had a trendy industrial chic interior design.

Lovely pub with loads of tables and chairs. Large upstairs too. There is a large balcony upstairs which must be great on a nice day. Decor clean and very modern. Bathrooms spotlessly clean. Mixture of customers - work colleagues, friends of all ages and families welcomed. Food order was quick and easy - it came out quickly and was really nice. Tables cleared quickly too. Plenty of staff on so no long queues at the bar. A great Wetherspoons!

Great location, multiple options for seating - inside & outside on both ground and first floors. Can order and pay through the JDW app which was great. Efficient service. Food and drinks were very good, especially the starters. The mains are good portions and tasty too. Wide variety and Good value for money for both food and drinks

Fast service, good value food, tidy and clean. The new menu was updated Nov. this year and it is much better than the old menu. It has become one of our favourite restaurant. Only problem is that it is so popular and crowded, it is quite noisy. Anyway, the good advantage is the food is more fresh.

Its position on the bay gives impressive views. Like many JD Wetherspoons, it's on two floors, with outside area on each floor. The bar area is decorated above in an eye-catching way, unusual in a Spoons. I liked it. I didn't eat, but the service was fine, with pleasant and helpful staff. As for the atmosphere, I was there at a relatively quiet time of day.

Visited while in Cardiff. Standing alongside Mermaid Quay this is a lovely looking building and is very modern. There is a big floor area on the ground floor and although it is big and spacious with lots of tables and chairs, it did give me a feel of a canteen with all the floor to ceiling glass windows. When we dined there for our evening meal we are upstairs towards the back and it felt far more relaxed and comfortable and more like a spoons. Both our breakfast and evening meals were lovely and of high quality. There are outside seating areas that look over Cardiff Bay. Another great feature is the glass staircase which is very unusual. This building is quite striking when viewed from the bay and I would recommend a visit No parking on site as its in the bay area but there is one behind Mermaid Quay nearby.

Incredibly busy Bank Holiday Monday but able to find seating for 9 people. Well organised for ordering, good service considering the multitude that passed through the doors. Tables cleared and cleaned. only criticism, no vegetables for the kids with their burger and chips. Adults had garden peas with their fish and chips, would have been healthy for kids to have had some as well!

I was awaiting to be served for under one minute. The gentleman employee saw myself standing and was very quick to ask for my order. This would not occur within Belfast. The pub is a hidden gem within Cardiff Bay. A must visit for any tourist. The food and drinks were very tasty and the staff are very friendly. Without doubt, the best JDW the partner and I have visited.

All day breakfast that should come with two eggs came with none. Server walked off without trying to justify or explain this. When called back about it I just got told they didn't have any and they'd put an extra sausage on instead. Who wants a breakfast without eggs? Wpuld have chosen something else if they'd had the courtesy to tell me in advance. Also ordered a pepperoni pizza which was soggy and floppy with little pepperoni on it. Avoid. So poor. And I normally like a Spoons. Also ordered two drinks - raspberry and rhubarb - and got two raspberry. Total shambles and they don't give a toss.

This was a great location. It was sunny and the balcony was ideal. The downside was that we didn't get our food for 2hrs and it was a poor serving.

Now here's a Wetherspoons that is where the staff are super attentive and go about their job like precision ninjas! Brilliant!👍🏻 Okay, dropped in for a couple of drinks and a snack. Ordered, BANG! Drinks on the table followed shortly by the food, excellent! Yeah, yeah it wasn't overly busy but my recent visit in Bristol's The Berkeley was as busy and frankly it was rubbish! Thanks guys for a pleasurable afternoon.

We only had drinks, which is why I haven't rated the food (but it's wetherspoons so you already know anyhow!). The view from the rooftop terrace over Cardiff Bay is spectacular, and it's a proper suntrap too. Plenty of outdoor seating on the ground floor also

Enjoyed a lovely meal, good service good atmosphere. Still reasonably priced. Security needs to be trained in how to restrain correctly. An incident occurred outside where a customer became unruly and held on the floor awaiting police, myself and my husband are trained in these techniques and were very aware that they were not using correct procedures. This needs to be addressed.

Randomly decided to visit Cardiff for a day and ended up here - so glad we did! The place has indoor and outdoor seating areas, and is decorated beautifully on the inside. Wide range of draft beers available, and a great selection of food. The staff were amazing, friendly, helpful and seemed genuinely happy to be there which was actually a nice feeling. The only disadvantage was that the toilets were up a large flight of stairs. I'm unsure whether there are downstairs facilities for the disabled, but I would think it is more likely than not. Fantastic place for a meal and a drink. Would definitely recommend!

Place looked great, nice & bright, spacious with plenty of seating. However service was a little slow, at the bar & for food. Staff didn't appear at all happy or eager serve us. We were left waiting every time we went to the bar. The app to order food wasn't working, no idea why but it wouldn't allow us to add a drink, therefore wasn't able to add the meal to the order. It was the bbq chicken melt for anyone who cares. When I mentioned this to the staff at the bar all he said was that we could order with him. The food wasn't hot, we had pay for sauce but then waited 10mins for it to come out by which point we'd eaten most of our meal. When at the bar I was asked to repeat myself numerous times & at no other establishment have I experienced this so I really don't believe I was talking too quietly as I don't have a volume setting thats quiet. It was a little frustrating as there wasn't any background music playing or any other external noise that would otherwise of been drowning my voice out. Perhaps staff were all having an off day, as I've much better experiences than on this occasion.

Amazing weatherspoon! I love how quick and easy it is to order from the phone and get you food. Great views and staff. Very cheap. Decent food. Many empty seats.

Great location, we sat outside overlooking the bay which was beautiful in the evening sunshine. Food was not cooked as well as other Wetherspoons but OK. Waitress we had was really lovely didn't get her name but she was very apologetic over a drink that arrived late though it was not her fault and we hadn't complained. For location and value for money it's a great place.

It's a 'spoons. It's reasonably cheap with some good offers, but went as a group and the food was average at best, ended up leaving half of it as inedible. Much faster to order at the bar than to use the app. Tables not large enough for a big group and no reservations possible.

A large Wetherspoon house spread over two floors with outdoor seating on both levels. Enjoyed my visit here with some friends. Reasonable prices compared to some other places in Cardiff Bay and the food we enjoyed was not only wholesome and tasty but provided excellent value. Friendly staff, prompt service, clean tables and a good selection of ales. What more can you ask for?

Great Wetherspoons pub in the heart of Mermaid Quay, with usual Wetherspoons cheap prices but also with a wonderful view from upstairs on the balcony area across Cardiff Bay. Lots of seating both inside and out. Balcony is under cover. Can order at bar or via the Wetherspoons app by scanning QR code on your table.
