Popped in after work for a pint as working locally. Pint was fresh, nice head and ice cold. Was alittle hungry so ordered some starters. What can I say but simply amazing, offered to get the sauce for me also with a beaming smile. Will visit again staff good as gold

Visited with a family group of thirteen. The table was reserved with no problems. Friendly staff made us all feel very welcome. The service was great, the food was brought out together do no individual was waiting. The food was very tasty and well cooked, we all enjoyed a few drinks and everyone had a lovely evening, thanks. Also very good value.

I love the ambience here. Always warm and welcoming, with friendly staff and a great selection of Brains beers. Sometimes they have my all time favourite cider 'Old Rosie's' too. Food is always great and is served quickly too so perfect for a quick lunch. The courtyard area has been recently revamped and is lovely on a hot summer day. Big sporting events are always on the big screen TV's and can be viewed from most tables. Always clean and tidy.

Wonderful weekend spent at the pub. Catching up with old friends. And very happy to see how so many new faces since the refurbishment too. It was extremely hot and the staff were just amazing. No complaints about heat just carrying on as normal. Well done everyone

Great good and good choice of beers. Very busy as the second time in a few weeks it was overrun with children. Major disappointment was not giving 30% off main meals. Had the offer last week in the Fox and Hounds without needing a voucher but none given for this pub even though the Fynnon Web issued them and they are further away from where we live.

Popped in for Sunday Lunch. The roast was beautifully cooked using fresh ingredients ( not frozen). The staff were really friendly. Will definitely eat there again. Highly recommend

Staff very friendly. We had the Sunday roast which was brilliant. Both the beef, and the chicken were gorgeous. Massive portions, hot, and more important, tasty. The staff looked after us even though there was a massive Halloween party for the kids ongoing at the same time. The place was very well organised, and no body got in anyone else's way.

This is a great pub. The bar is full of friendly people and their dogs which is awesome. Who doesn't like to fuss a dog while ordering a drink? The food is really nice and is cooked pretty quick even when busy. My only complaint (and this is more because of my neuro Diversity) is the door to the toilets and beer garden. It sees a lot of traffic and every time someone goes through it, the door bangs shut so I would flinch every time it shut. If they just put some soft sponge around the frame this pub would literally be the greatest of pubs.

Went to a baby shower, great area for small party. Food was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. We went on a Sunday, very busy the lunches looked really good. Will be going back for food. The only downside is parking, street parking was quite an issue to find a space.

We visited on Boxing Day for the 2 course festive menu. Service was exceptional and the quality of the food was excellent, perfect portion sizes too. If you are willing to have us, we will be Boxing Day regulars from hereon!

Excellent service Delicious Sunday lunch. The only improvements I can think of would be to advertise their scrummy Sunday dinner and to add gardens peas

What a lovely pub! I was too early for an appointment across the road and dived in here, partly to escape the scorching weather! It was lovely and cool, spacious and relaxing. I was immediately made welcome by all the staff - nothing was too much trouble. I enjoyed a tasty salad for lunch and a long refreshing drink. It was too hot for alcohol (for me, anyway!) but I'd like to come back to try the excellent range of cask beer on offer here. Many thanks

Visited this place on a Thursday evening, steak night, had an 8 ounce sirloin steak with a pint for about £11.00, cooked blue it was the best value for money steak I've ever had in 40 years of travelling about. The staff were welcoming and the ale superb, a pub well worth a visit.

Meal for 3 on Monday evening. Lovely welcome. Very reasonable drink prices (bottle of very nice wine £9.95!). Portion sizes generous. All meals cooked as requested and served in a timely manner. No problem with an adult having children's menu. Meal prices also more than reasonable. Really friendly staff. Will be back.

Very noisy to be having dinner. It's a great place to have drinks, and it will be great of there was an area were it can have dinner and an area for people having just drinks that way you won't have people all around you while having dinner.

👍👍 Great Jamaican food, we had a great time! I highly recommend the bottomless brunch, our waitress, Lucy, was very attentive and we had a great chat about nights out in Cardiff! The bar staff's cocktails were beautiful, too!
