Friendly staff. lovely food. Changes in the menu needed a change. Place a bit more tidier

Out of 24 mains and sandwiches there is only 1 vegan option. Sorry but that is poor. These days it seems every restaurant feels they must have meat or dairy in every meal - there are lots of flavours in the plant world so it shows a lack of creativity. Before this time meat and dairy were a treat a few times a week but we have become obsessed with it in every meal and every day. The UN is now recommending more plant based meals because you can have the same calories and protein using less land, water and emissions. Please consider this and I’d be happy to update this review to 5 stars with more vegan options. Regardless what people think of my diet choice at the end of the day I just want to walk into a restaurant and have at least a few vegan choices for mains. Thanks.

Lovely pub, the food is delicious and good price, the landlord and landlady are so welcoming nothing is ever too much trouble for them, will definitely recommend and will be returning.

Played skittles at the the park con's the beer and other beverages are all well kept and good bar staff

Quick and friendly service in ordering food and drinks and food came in a good time and was delicious. Looked very good and tasted amazing.

The staff and food are incredible! We regularly use them on a Wednesday. They always go above and beyond for us! Such a nice atmosphere and always happy to see them on a Wednesday! They are great for all ages! Defo recommend the prawn salad unreal!!!

The staff are lovely, the food is of excellent quality and great value. The ambiance of the dining area is friendly and welcoming. The toilets are maintained to a high standard. There are plenty of car parking spaces. Great experience!

Everyone must try this place. Staff are so friendly, they make everyone so welcome. Great place to watch sport, but there is a quiet area if you're not into watching sport on tv. Sunday dinner is amazing, compliments to the chef!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We were a family group of 6 eating from the festive menu and we were very impressed. The food was excellent and the presentation of it was spot on and the staff made such an effort to make our Xmas get together memorable. Have visited before and never disappointed and will definitely be back. Angie is friendly and efficient, thank you Angie.

Sunday lunch is the best. Food is always excellent fresh and always hot also good portions . So much gravy they could give some to the Monkston Inn there always short . Great staff and service. Highly recommended. 💯👍👍👍

It's a big place with a great darts facility at the back ... could be better lighting for the dart board but it's ok ...pub 10/10 Dart board 7/10

Lovely pub! Staff are very welcoming and has a lovely separate lounge area for family meals. Perfect for children.

Hadn't been there before but always pass there everyday, decided to give it a go and like to say it's was fabulous the staff and food (well done cook) was A1 will be visiting again.
