Great traditional Brains city centre boozer. A bit tatty (particularly the toilets!) but friendly staff and good beers. Traditional pub grub. Well worth a visit as an alternative to the other chains, cheaper than the independents.

Toilets rank with one out of order (for ages), fruit flies everywhere, no toilet paper in last remaining toilet, one person serving, unclean tables.

One of Cardiff’s old pubs that was Brains for many years. Following Brains demise the pub closed and subsequently re-opened. A reasonable pint of Guinness and fairly busy inside.

Great music venue, wide selection of beers and ciders. Really nice crowd, great friendly staff. Highly recommended for a night out on a trip to Cardiff.

This is my favorite bar in Cardiff. It's kept it historic look and the frontage is just spectacular. There is always a big selection of real ales and SA Brains is probably the best one to start with (then work your way through the selection). Nice staff and they serve food and everything is reasonabley priced. A must visit on your pub crawl!

Oldie worldie tradition brains pub. Dark and dingy but charming in it's own rights. Only downside is the toilets are in desperate need of a refurb

Beautiful pub in Cardiff City, the owner was friendly, chatty and made us feel welcome. The seats at the front by the big window are perfect for people watching while enjoying a tasty beverage or two. Really good prices too and food is served which we'll try next time. Take a special one along and cosey up and watch the world go by.
