It was our first time here. The juices were so nice! Food was delicious, so filling and tasty. I am not a lamb lover and I can just say that their mince lamb was the best thing on the plate 😊 So happy I will definitely come back!

Wanted to try this place for a while. The restaurant is so clean with good service. Went with one of my mates. The food is really delicious, tasty, filling and flavoursome. They have a good menu and varieties that you can try. The service is speedy as well. You won't be disappointed. Highly recommended this place. The price is affordable. Has enough people to accommodate. Try to take enough cash as they don't take cards. There is a atm outside the restaurant in case you forget. Would visit again. Thank you☺️.

Truly excellent food. The restaurant is beautiful inside, very well decorated with solid wood tables and comfy booths. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and helpful when needed. The service was even quicker than expected, but the food is just incredible. The Mix Grill is one of the best food items I've ever eaten, and I cannot recommend it more highly. Fantastic restaurant. 5 stars.

Wow what a hidden gem this place is! Popped in for some lunch and was impressed with the great variety of meat and vegetarian dishes on offer. Very beautiful and sophisticated decor with excellent customer service to match. You must try their fresh juices they are absolutely amazing along with the rest if the menu!

Excellent service, very tasty foods, asked for a bit hot and cooked as asked. Chef came and check if we liked the food. But they should have kept card machine. They are taking cash only!! Otherwise I would put a 5*

Amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed the food. It was fresh and too delicious. We ordered a mixed grill, mango lassi and starters and man it was absolutely amazing. WC is available inside.

The wings for starters were amazing so tasty and flavoursome, then we shared the platter for two which was even better! Highly recommend this place. Very tasty Syrian food. We got a mix grill for 2 to share and was more than filling. Very tasty meat and speedy service. a little on the pricey side for what it is, but worth it for the quality. Highly recommend if after some authentic Syrian food. Also should note, it's cash only!

This restaurant is just awesome in terms of ambiance, workers, price and the most juiciest food. Been here thrice, first time with Mary J and my co workers, second time with my friends comparing someone we knew to Andrew Tate and the third time, a sabotaged AA meeting. Regardless of what circumstance it was, I was always satisfied and full with food and happiness.

One of the best places to eat in Cardiff, beautiful decor and felt so cosy. As a group of girls we felt very looked after, the owner (Yahya) was very courteous and hospitable and tailored the menu to our liking. Food was excellent and service was amazing. Would highly recommend :)

Really enjoyed our visit last night, super fast service for our table of seven and a variety of dishes. Great food well cooked. Fascinating and richly decorated surroundings, made the visit extra memorable. Very clean and fresh WC facilities. Will come again.

We came from York visit family's. This restaurant was highly recommended. Very friendly staff and service was fast even it was busy. The owner was very friendly and had a chat with us. Omar who reserved the table for us was very professional and always had a smile on his face. The food was very delicious. I have tried the lamb moussaka and loved it. I would highly recommend this restaurant and I'll definitely visit again.

Delicious food. Thought I’ll try it I’m from Manchester just here for a short trip in Cardiff, the food was awesome and the service too, it’s maybe one of the best Syrian food I’ve ever had! & the price was good. Also the deco was outstanding.

Firstly, these guys are 'cash only', so make sure you have cash with you before you dine here. The card machine outside will charge you a cheeky 99p per withdrawal. You've been warned. This is a unique place. Once you're in the restaurant, the staff is friendly in its own unique way. We went as a large group and were looked after. We ordered a wide variety of dishes from the menu. The food here is on par for it to be a decent place, and my standouts were the chicken Shawarma (wrap, not with rice) and the garlic sauce. They don't do lamb Shawarmas, and the staff have a tendency to really push on only what's on the menu. The mixed grill was a 6/10 and the sharing platter 2 was a 7. The ambience and decor is, an acquired taste. As I said above, a unique place. Parking is tricky, we had to do a few rounds before we found a spot.

If you want authentic Syrian food, this is the place to come. Everything is clearly homemade, fresh and delicious (the chicken is juicy and the Baba ghanoush is deliciously smoky!). I lived in Damascus for over a year and it took me straight back! Generous portions, quality food, atmospheric decor and music, and (as expected), amazing Arab hospitality.

Had amazing experience, delicious food served by polite staff in nice atmosphere. The only problem was that I had to pay in cash in the time of digital world. This is a serious reason makes me think before coming back as personally prefer card payment.

The food was really nice and a different experience altogether.. u get a taste of Syria when ur in this restaurant.. And once u finished your food the tea is on the house. Enjoyed the Food and the service.

If you are looking for good, true to taste Arabic food-this is the place to be Loved the mix grill platter. The kuftas were extremely juicy. The platters have less quantity of rice, so if you want to share I'd suggest ordering a side plate of rice The Mango lassi is so refreshing Their menu is quite extensive but authentic. Loved the experience Cherry on top, very well done interiors! It would help if they also had card payment options

Wow really nice place to try Arabic food near Cardiff. Reasonable price and potion size really good. We had 2 mains and 1 side with mint tea. It was around 30GBP for every thing.

The interior was great and was one of the reason why i went their, after searching for Halal restaurants in Cardiff. The food it self was ok but the decor made up for it. Unfortunately they only take cash so make sure you have some. We got the mixed grill platter which was good but the rice supplied was limited, a small increase it rice would have gone along way, never the less a good meal. It was full of lamb pieces, kofta, mince, chicken and chicken kebab.

The food was delicious and amazing value. 5 of us shared a three person mixed grill and then added a variety of sides. The desserts were the perfect end to the meal. Plus the staff were lovely! Would definitely recommend to everyone!

I've been coming to this restaurant for years. Excellent quality, wonderful staff, and the most delicious food I've ever eaten. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner who was welcoming and a fantastic host. I keep coming back to this incredible restaurant!!!! Absolutely love it.

As you enter the restaurant takes you back to somewhere far from Cardiff. I thought the food was authentic. Large serving but you would want to eat all as it was so delicious.

My first visit to Shaam Nights, was not disappointed. Food was amazing, service was excellent. Hummus is not something I usually like, but Sham Nights has converted me! It was absolutely delicious! Will be back

Ordered a mixed grill. The meat was flavourful and succulent. It was perfect! The decor in the restaurant is very impressive indeed.

Sham Nights is a place where you can go if you are not too fused about food and wait times! My first experience was good but 2nd wasn't the best! They did give a discount on the bill in the end but after a battle! A piece of advice to the chef, don't pass bad comments in front of the customers especially if they waited 45 mins for food and still got uncooked chicken! We were patient and polite! Anyhow I will still give 5 stars as I know this can affect small businesses!

Halal restaurant, funnily was noted as the best in the area, sadly I beg to differe. Lovely environment, staff were friendly at the beginning and caring. However they gave us 1 dish wrong, and rather than seeing there was an error on their side, they tried to fault us first for ordering incorrectly, when it was their fault. This was quickly resolved and they brought a new dish correctly. Also noted a nearby table was reserved for 20 people but only 6 turned up, and 1 of the staff member was bluntly telling them off that they had to cancel other reservations (which I doubt as 3/4 of the restaurant had empty seats.) Food was ok quite pricy for what you get, presented very well. Most my family who came felt sick, couple had 1 of vomiting a few hours later. *update to reply* As I explained, they are more keen to blame the customer on wrong orders than their staff (I dine out alot and first time I've had this issue in many years) Noted my photo has chili in it as mentioned, I have been fine, my family who ordered different dishes felt sick after (They didn't add the chili), and being from a ethnic background who live off it, I'm pretty sure this wasn't the case to cause upset stomach. My message to your restaurant was, you need to improve on your communication skills, as said, if the neighbouring table did something wrong, you have to explain it in a polite manner, not talk down to them like a child, mistakes happen, explain the reasoning rather than tell them off.

Tasty food served in good quantity and very good service. The restaurant decor is beautiful too. We were a little concerned at first as the official hygiene rating was 0. However we're glad that we went because there was no issue at all so not sure how accurate or recent the rating is.

Beautiful decor, great ambience. Delicious food with staff who are helpful and attentive. We had a great evening here. Would highly recommend Shaam Nights. Will be coming back ourselves. Thank you for a wonderful evening to all at Shaam Nights.
