Dirty and delicious. Gooey cheese, crispy fries, everything you would expect from Five Guys.

Ridiculously overpriced dry, average burger with fries and a drink x 2 = £34!!! Wasn't very clean and following a recent delivery the restaurant was rammed with boxes and bags of potatoes. Will never use again. Only decent fries lifts it to two stars. Rip off merchants. Avoid.

Way overpriced for what it is. The burger, fries and milkshake all tasted ok, but not worth the £20. Much better places to get a burger. Never again

Ridiculous price for a "Glorified Burger King". 2 hot dogs meals + 2 BLT + 2milkshakes= £50 ?!?!? And my BLT came in a burger bun.

Not great burgers. The pros are you can customise your burger toppings to your heart's content and they have unlimited pop options. But the burger itself is plain and unadventurous. And not cheap. It compares closely in price to a better quality burger joint but closer in quality to a burger king.

The shakes at Five Guys are an absolute delight for your taste buds! Creamy, rich, and incredibly satisfying, these shakes are a perfect indulgence. The range of flavors is impressive, catering to both classic and adventurous palates. The shakes are made with high-quality ingredients, ensuring a smooth and flavorful experience with every sip. Whether you're pairing them with a burger or enjoying one on its own, Five Guys shakes are a treat that will leave you craving for more. The friendly staff and laid-back ambiance make it even better. Don't miss out on trying these shakes – they're the perfect sweet ending to your Five Guys meal!

It was ok. Its how McDonald's would be if they actually served what they advertised. So of was good food. I had 4 burgers with bacon and cheese. They didn't season the burgers so they were bland, but the cheese saved it, the cheese was good. Nice selection of milkshakes, the place wasn't the best looking to be fair, looked unfinished or its about to close down.

The food was good. Staff were friendly and helpful and fast. Bathroom facilities were clean my only issue is the price. Two people two Cheeseburgers two waters and 1 fries came out to be 30 pounds. Which is absolutely absurd for a fast food place can definitely get more bang for your buck elsewhere.

Outstanding burgers, chips are ridiculously large and drinks are free refills. You do need a small mortgage or loan to pay but they are lovely. Burgers are around £9/£10 then chips start at £4 and drinks are £4.15

Only 2nd experience of a 5 guys and it didn't dissapoint. There was a mix up with our food and the young man I think he was tge manager jumped into action and made us fresh food he couldn't apologise enough he also offered us free milkshakes which made our day ....Thank you so much.

Been here lots of times, you can't beat a fresh burger and chips, the food is so filling I never have room for dessert and you definitely get your moneys worth, will always come back. Highly recommend milkshake with bacon in it. If you are brave enough to have a burger with all 15 toppings grab a napkin and prepare for a tasty mess 😂

Food was nice and there was really good service. They do a bacon 🥓🥓🥓 (yes BACON) milkshake here, save yourself some money and DON'T get one no matter how curious you may be. It is every bit as wrong as it sounds!

It’s 5 Guys - the food is excellent. Shout out to the consistently awesome shakes. Reviewing because the service here is so good - the staff are genuinely friendly and engaging, which is impressive given that this is a chain restaurant in the middle of a major city centre’s brewery quarter, so I am guessing they get a lot of grief and it’s very busy! It’s always our fallback for somewhere when we want fast food that is still superb.

Food I put 4 stars because I loved the fries 🍟. They offer two options, cajun and salted. We ordered the salted and went for a regular serving and that was huge. I wonder what a large serving looks like. We love that they use real potatoes, none of that horrid synthetic stuff you get from other fast food chains that start with M or B or K. But they are cooked in Peanut oil, so if you have an allergy, please stay far away. We did not like the bacon double cheese burger, my daughter said that it was dry and she loved bacon but not this one. If you are vegetarian, they have veggie Sandwiches with or without cheese. They taste delicious with cheese but as I am now dairy intolerant I had mine without and it was not so tasty. The food is very pricey so my daughter was disappointed 😥 but said that she will return just for the fries and refillable drinks. The service was excellent

A solid 3 stars. The burger was small but nice. Loads of fries which is good because they cost £5. The drink was also expensive but refillable. I wouldn't go again but I was glad that I finally went.

Nice burgers and fries but at a price. Would use again but only on a special occasion. Two burgers, fries and a drink came to £37. No wonder it was nearly empty of customers when we visited.

Delicious burgers and awesome fries. Five Guys do a limited menu with lots of custom options, and do it really well. A lack of plant based options but the most comprehensive soft drinks selection I've ever seen (and the only place I've found outside Germany to have Mezzo Mix on tap). Friendly, helpful staff.

I enjoy an overpriced 5guys very much. And who can argue with all you can eat dry roasted monkey nuts I extend a word of advice to the management though. You need to stop the hordes of delivery cyclists sitting on your front steps. Looks very unwelcoming

I’ve traditionally only been to Five Guys at the end of gigs or events so it’s usually busy. As such, I’m not expecting all the tables to be in the right place or all the sauce sachets to be filled up. In truth, because I’ve been after events, it tends to be busy and the staff run ragged but they are still nice, polite and the food is served quickly and cooked well. It’s brilliant comfort food at the end of the night, found at the end of Caroline Street. Get it in yer gob!

First time visiting a 5 Guys, definitely doesn't live up to the hype people give it. Essentially it's just an expensive Burger King with more fries. £14 for a basic bacon burger and small fries is way overpriced, even if the bacon wasn't burnt and the burger squished and sweaty it's still too much - the fries were reasonably good, and there were so many dumped in the bag I couldn't get to the burger without eating half of them.

  • 5/5 Andrew O. 4 months ago on Google
This is not to be compared to fast food burger chains. The selection is plentiful build your own burgers, the quality, freshness and taste of the food we had was excellent. Lots of options to make your burger special. The fries were lovely one tip a regular portion is more than enough for two people also if you like hot spices try the HOT SAUCE Stunning. The price is reasonable for the quality we had two burgers with lots of options a portion of fries and two Glorious milkshakes for £35.00. Next time we are back in Cardiff will definitely be calling.

The Milkshake is great. The large fries here are not crispy at all and tastes bitter, maybe overcooked. The staff are very nice and replaced them with newly fried ones, unfortunately still tastes the same. It doesn’t feel like Five Guys fries which are undoubtedly fabulous.

My mate and I were in Cardiff for a 'Tailgunner' gig at Fuel Rock Club recently. We stopped at 5 Guys for a burger and fries before the show. 5 Guys is always good - been to the Exeter branch too. Burgers are great, delicious and filling ... and on top of that you get a shed-load of fries. It was just us in there and maybe one other table, so the atmosphere was a bit quiet, which just meant we got served more quickly. There are 'monkey-nuts' to munch on while you wait for your custom order to be cooked and served, so that was cool. The only slight criticism of 5 Guys is the price ... £20 for a burger, fries and a soft drink is a lot. Even for higher end burger restaurants. I get the food inflation thing, but £20? Hmmmm. Still, it's a great burger.

Seems expensive for burger and chips on first glance but what a burger and chips!!! Also consider that the portions are HUGE, large fries feeds two easily and burgers are great with choice of 15 toppings. Definitely worth a visit but think about buying small on your first visit and working up if needed!

Amazing burgers - staff member James C was especially welcoming and friendly.

Tasty burgers with plenty of choice when it comes to toppings. Nice fries too. Definitely a step above McDonalds / Burger King but the higher price reflects this.

Classic best burger in town at ridiculous prices, but the restaurant was very busy and the music was a little too loud.

  • 5/5 Danielle G. 2 years ago on Google
Up there with some of the best burgers I've ever had! Also love the fries (and the extra ones you get..) and the milkshakes. 🤤 Everytime I've visited customer service has been quick and friendly.

  • 3/5 Louise O. 2 years ago on Google
Strange experience considering it's so expensive, your burgers come wrapped in tin foil and numbered and you have to match them to the burgers on the receipt and work out who's is whose!?! Chips come all bunged in a paper bag and you have to dish out into little cups! Burgers are very tasty though and milkshakes are to die for!!

  • 5/5 Siwsan M. 2 years ago on Google
The staff were amazing very kind helpful and friendly. Food was hot and delish even the fries tasted like real potato😀lots of choice for toppings.. Milkshake was lush. Definitely a cut above some burger places.. Nice to enjoy a beer with the burger as well.

Excellent! Flavoursome food freshly cooked. Friendly staff, buzzy atmosphere. Not cheap but why would food this good be cheap?

James Campbell was amazing! When we thought there was no hope in getting food, 5 guys was opened and he took care of us very well and great conversations! Thanks and definately will be returning!

Good if you want a quick bite and a decent burger, a little but pricey but pretty tasty, the fries are very generously portioned. 1 is easily enough for 2 people.

  • 3/5 Laura D. 1 year ago on Google
Cold, loud, and poorly laid out dining area. Amateur level of cooked patties, fries too salty, and cheese down bunless burger were all a bit disappointing. Recommend the Red Dragon Centre branch of Five Guys.

Best burger. Best milk shake. Beers - Budweiser and corona pints Chips are made with peanut oil . It’s heavenly. My kids love their chips. Cajun flavor chips is very spicy and I was unable to finish a large size At times the service time can be a bit long

Five guys burgers and fries are simply incredible, great choice of free toppings for your burger. Huge fries portions, free refills on drinks and all prepared to a great standard. If you haven't had a five guys before you simply must

Great food, lovely burger and chips! Decent portions and well cooked. Our daughter told us that one portion of chips would be enough for 2, we bought 2 because we were starving hungry but she was right!

  • 5/5 Arpita S. 1 year ago on Google
The most delicious burger I ever had. I was so happy with the quantity of fries, and they were so crispy! Plus free coke refills...!!! Wow!

  • 5/5 Sally L. 1 year ago on Google
My first time trying five guys in here and I can say how amazing my first experience was. The food was cooked perfectly. There was plenty of room for us to sit as the restaurant is quite big in itself. The waiter who served us was very helpful and polite. We didn't have to wait long for our food even though it was quite busy. It's a lovely place to go somewhere to eat with your friends or as a couple or for a family meal. It's all reasonable price for the quality of the food. Definitely would go there again.

  • 4/5 Felix w. 2 years ago on Google
Burger was absolutely great! one of the best burgers I've had, very surprising for a fast food restaurant, genuinely would go here just for the burgers. The fries were pretty alright, bit too salty but still quite good there's a TON of them in the bag, so much that they don't fit in the cup at all, I know this is on purpose to have a smaller cup but same amount of fries to make it appear like you're getting more fries than you're supposed to, but there's still a ton of fries even for the smallest size "little" fries. It is really expensive though, would not eat here regularly due to this.

Best triple cheese burger I've ever had. Friendly, active staff who know their products and gave great advice. Bust International rubby day but dynamic approach to service and keeping waiting times down.
