In short I have no words to explain the auntenticity of this dine in because it was more that excellent. Also the service was fabulous i was really cherished with the way they served and the way they welcomed the people, my family was soo pleased and happy with the way they treated us and last but not the least the dishes was just WOW! dishes i just can't get praise just 1 dish every dish we ordered was mouthwatering, wish we could always have a dine out whenever we go out, Cardiff is the centre town with many restaurants but never been to such an authentic place ever. Whenever we travel to different place out of our country we always wish to have the sense of our taste especially when we visit to our Indian Restaurant but the fact is we always lose the hope with the food and can't blame because the availability of the stuff and masalas differ from place to place, but this place brought my sense of taste back to that level which made me to think about my motherland..... Oh wow what a taste i just have the sense yet iny tongue... Such a delighted dishes.. Thank God that wecan move to this place whenever we miss homely for home made food😍. Its just mesmerizing........ Love this place to the best

We visited Mowgli's on the back of great reviews online during a recent trip to Cardiff. It was money well spent for sure. The onion bhaji starters were amazing, both large but still well seasoned. We were also very happy with the mixed grill entrees. As a dish without sauce the meat can sometimes be dry but our servings were excellent. The hype for this place is well deserved.

The best authentic fast Indian restaurant. Also I would say its cheap and pocket friendly with super food and tasty food, the service was the best to recommend. They have got vast range of authentic food and drinks that reminds of homely taste sense. Chicken kolapuri was the best of the food that I ordered also the chicken shashlik and mowgli chicken special biriyani, chicken tikka salad, man bread everything was mouth watering. It would be better if you pee book a table to make it hazzle free, they hold road side parking therefore need to keep a head as they may be crowdy at times. They do accept card as well as cash payin. The best part is that the have a good restroom facility and maintain the social distancing.

Been here a few times, best Indian about! Friendly helpful staff. Food tastes amazing, can tell they use quality ingredients. The meat in the curries was literally falling apart, packed with flavours. Will be back soon.

The food was good - not the best curry I've had in Cardiff. Decor ia very, very dated. In need of a refurb.

The food was very delicious and the service was exceptional! We had the tasting menu to share for two people, it was very delicious, lots of different flavours, sweet, sour, spicy. The meat was not dry but very juicy. The amount of food we got was also very generous, we took home enough for lunch tomorrow as well.

    - The restaurant's vegetarian options are quite restricted. - The Roti and Naan served have unusually large sizes and lack the softness expected of authentic Indian cuisine. As an Indian, I am familiar with the traditional preparation. - Unfortunately, the staff did not appear to take my feedback seriously. In short, test is not true indian.

Absolutely phenomenal! Best curry house in Cardiff. Never disappoints be it a sports match day, a weekend or another day in the week! I recommend the Saag Paneer for the veggies out there! My girlfriend loves the chicken dishes! Naan bread, poppadoms, chips and rice are all fantastic! Service is great as usual! We get takeaway as we live round the corner and eat in whenever we have friends and family over! Either works and both times are brilliant! You really can't beat this place and we count ourselves lucky to live so close!

Curry here is on the sweeter side. Vegetables curry tastes really good, Vindaloo is not spicy enough. Service is quite attentive, very friendly staff.

I am such a huge fan of Mowglis Indian restaurant. The food is stunning & so authentic. The biriyani’s are my absolute favourite all of them are really good. It’s the best Indian in Cardiff, if you’re eating in the staff are very welcoming & friendly. The service is great & you won’t be disappointed. The takeaway is just as good, with delivery available in some parts of the city, but if like me, you live outside the delivery area, then they have a few collection points & the service is still excellent. The food is so good it’s worth it. Would highly recommend. If you’ve never tried them, don’t just go to your “go to Indian” that is mediocre, try Mowgli’s because your Indian experience will never be the same again.

Ambiance is good. But its a bit of a gloomy lighting. Expected authentic indian spices but all the curries were a bit sweet. Service can be improved.

The restaurant says it’s Indian flavours. But it is more like from the neighbouring countries like Bangladeshi. Very sweet food. Also, before ordering we specifically asked the server to confirm from the chef if the food can be made according to actual Indian taste. He ensured that it would be the perfect Indian spice instead it was all too sweet. Probably not the best place to visit if you looking for authentic Indian food. Must try Chai street instead.

Great Indian restaurant with plenty of seating to accommodate larger groups of people. Good menu options and very reasonable prices. Great deals to be found on Sundays and Wednesdays. Portions are generous. Will definitely look to go back again soon.

Incredible food with amazing customer service. The lamb shank was the phenomenal. The naan bread was huge and so tasty. Absolutely no faults. The staff were so friendly. Would 100% recommend.

An excellent curry house with helpful staff, reasonable prices, generous (and delicious) portions, and a warm atmosphere -- 10/10

I waited 1h 25 mins for my order to arrive. The driver didn't bring the food to my door upstairs only called me to come downstairs. They're using a covid excuse, but are just lazy. You can (and should) do a hands-free delivery at the door. People order food online because they don't want to (or can't!) go out. If you're not willing to do the service properly, don't offer it.

Impressive!! Pity we were the only customers dining in, but it was a Monday night!! Food was great and excellent service. Take-away seemed popular…..

Beautifully fresh and piping hot meal, great service and pleasant atmosphere. Lighting was too low and reading the menu was difficult. Will call again (with a miners lamp)

I recently placed an order for a family curry for 15 from the Crwys Road branch. The staff were very helpful on ordering. The order was ready on time on the day of collection, which often is not the case when ordering takeouts. We ordered the chicken tikka and the chicken tikka burani, both family favourites. Both were delicious. The portions were generous and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Many thanks to all at Mowglis - We will be back. If you haven't been yet, I would recommend visiting either branch.

👍👍 Great Jamaican food, we had a great time! I highly recommend the bottomless brunch, our waitress, Lucy, was very attentive and we had a great chat about nights out in Cardiff! The bar staff's cocktails were beautiful, too!
