This is an amazing must try restaurant for Cardiff!!! Best Spanish I’ve had in UK. We had: 1. Potato bravo which was crisp on outside and super soft inside 2. Thinly sliced fried aubergine in light batter, so tender and delicious and the batter didn’t overwhelm the aubergine 3. Roasted artichoke with garnish in a slightly bed of pepper mash/sauce. The artichokes were perfection and the sauce was smooth and slightly sour, a perfect combination 4. Mushrooms were deliciously buttery. Garlic taste not as strong as other places I’ve tried 5. Basque style cheesecake served with cream - absolute heaven, best cheesecake I’ve ever had. So creamy smooth and perfect texture So so good and every dish was excellent. The restaurant has given each classic dish a special twist and was a wonderful dining experience!

I'm not the biggest fan of Spanish food but haven't had any for years so thought why not try some tonight. I looked online and this place appeared to have good reviews so off I went. First impressions was how surprisingly busy it was on an early Thursday evening. It took a while before I was seated. I was seated at the bar first but asked if I could be seated at a table. They gave me an hour as the table was booked, which was more than enough time. There wasn't really anything on the menu that really popped out to me so decided to play it safe and order a potato small plates and a shin beef special. The potato arrived piping hot so I had to let it cool down for a bit. Flavourwise, I personally thought there was too much going on and I'd rather it was a more simplistic affair. I guess this is how it's meant to taste so bear that in mind. As for the beef, that arrived a lot cooler and it did taste quite nice though I wish there was more chucks of beef. The sauce was really tasty but I had no spoon and it didn't come with any bread to soak up the juices so I wasn't sure how best to consume this dish. Though I wish I had picked other dishes, that's not to say the food I did have was by any means bad. Its more likely I don't appreciate Spanish cuisine as much as others do.

Lovely place! Super friendly staff! The calamari could be less salty. The broccoli salad is defo recommended. Other than that all was great and with an eclectic wine selection!

What a truly fantastic tapas restaurant! The food is prepared so authentically and is utterly delicious. The staff are also helpful, friendly, and welcoming. We had the pleasure of being served by Jack who was warm and funny, and our lunch was all the better by him! Thank you! Highly recommended and a must try.

Loved the food and friendly service. The seafood and meat pinchos was packed with flavour. The meat and cheese board was great.. Loved the selection of cheeses and meats and the extras which we have never seen before. Only let down was the limited choice of wine by glass. Those who want to drink a bottle, it's perfect. Loved the dessert wine.

DO NOT DINE HERE! This has to be the worst restaurant I have been to in a very long time. We were a party of 6. Everything went well until the waitress came to take our order. She didn't know anything about the menu. The menu was in an obscure font and tiny letters, so it was very difficult to read. That was the last time we saw her. It was a different waiter or waitress each time we ordered after that. One waiter in particular was wearing short shorts and was incredibly rude. I watched him and the other waitresses arguing at the till for ten minutes before he stomped over and threw a bill at me for 240 quid that I didn't ask for. He literally threw it on the table. Grunted at me and stomped off. Our whole table was shocked and disgusted. They were arguing because we had a different waiter each time we requested something, and there was no system in place for our "correct" bill. Look at the picture. That plate cost 15 quid. I ate that in two mouthfuls. I thought it was a joke when it got served to me. Starter was 8 quid for a very small piece of stale bread with a bit of feta on it. Drinks took forever to arrive, and when they were, the staff were very rude, and we did not feel welcome at all. Needless to say, we will never come here again.

A lovely local in the heart of Cardiff with a surprisingly rich variety of Spanish classics of various regions. The Pulpo however was a tad chewy and potatoes weren’t cooked to the Galician perfection, this was however out balanced by the lovely, cheerful staff and cozy vibes. Defo recommended when in Cardiff and keen on that laid back good wine fuelled tapa fix.

A completely different experience of dining. Attentive staff, lots of in-house crafted offerings, perfect for a wine flight, a snack and a pint, a full on meal with your work colleagues, a cool vibes place to take your date and a city center deli for an artisan piece of ham or cheese. Curado is amazing, no two ways about it!

Love this place, the foods was so delicious and staffs are really friendly and helpful. The selection of cold meats and cheese on the was amazing, will definitely be back again.

Popped in for lunch Excellent food (the iberico pork scratchings 😋) Big portions Lovely staff. The pdf drinks menu accessed by QR code is a bit strange given you cant order via an app and the food menu is a standard laminated sheet of paper. Would be better if you could either order the drinks via an app or just have a physical drinks menu. Scrolling through the sizeable drinks menu via pdf on your phone is clunky. That's a pretty minor grumble though and the drinks are excellent, the house red was suprisingly good. Really nice Deli downatairs with an excellent choice of sherry, wine, meats etc. Will be going back for sure.

It’s a great for true Spanish food and done deliciously! The service was top notch! 🤗 they had forgotten one of the food items but we were full. We were completely satisfied with the service, good and wine!

Best place to have some tapas, reminded me of Spain. The best we've had outside of Spain. The waiter who served us, which he said it was only his 2nd day was very helpful and gave us a very good customer service 👍 we particularly loved the brocoli ensalada and the meat and cheese charcuterie was delicious. Highly recommended 👌

Previously visited with friends for food and drinks and very much enjoyed. This time it was mainly for a drink but we couldn't resist ordering some food too! We had mixed meat and cheese plate, artichokes and bread to go with our drinks. As always here, food really nice, lots of flavour and well cooked. A touch pricier than some but worth it for the atmosphere and quality.

One of the best places to eat in Cardiff for Tapas. - Don't expect a cheap meal, however the food is well worth it- After two bottles of good wine and a bunch of food me and my mate spent around £130 (not cheap I know) however the food was amazing but you can be overwhelmed by choice, but the staff are really helpful and will point you in a direction so your tastebuds are happy. My food recommendations are: -Bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar -Olives<--- I personally love olives and tried many in my time, these were by far some of the best if not the best ones I tried in a very long time -Grilled octopus (served with potatoes...bit weird but its fine the octopus was so tasty) -Duck Moose with caviar<-- I would recommend having this with a high acidic wine as the moose after drinking the wine really brought out the flavors -The thin sliced ham, very nice and pretty much melt in your mouth. For wines I would just go with what you normally like to drink as there is a big selection, but would go for a more expensive one say around £25+ as they have such a good selection, but talk to your waiter and get them to ask you questions so they can recommend the best one. Overall I shall of course be coming back but sadly when I have saved a bit more money

The best restaurant with spanish food in all Cardiff. Great food and raw material directly coming from Spain. It also has a great service and personalized attention. Spot a bit noisy and AC with low temperatures.

One of our favourite places for dinner/drinks! Amazing with allergens (I'm Coeliac with a nut allergy), and some of the best tapas I've had outside of Spain. Definitely recommend making a reservation!

This was a great find on our trip to Cardiff. It's located off the main street right near the stadium. (We actually saw the coaches bringing the players in.) We sat outside and had delicious Spanish tapas and vermouth. There is a great variety of vermouth and lovely Spanish wines. The food was delicious. We had tortilla, patatas bravas, pan con tomate, and a nice selection of olives. We felt that we were in Spain again. I highly recommend this lovely place. Great staff!

Excellent selection of Spanish meats, cheeses, fish, wine and beers, in a traditional setting. Staff are welcoming and very knowledgeable. Will definitely return. Worth going to the connected Vermut bar for a pre/post drink also, to continue the ambience.

Fantastic service, lovely food. I came here with my mother recently, and we informed the staff that we were on a tight timeline to eat and then head off. We were seated immediately and informed of the quickest things to order on the menu. Our food came out ridiculously quickly, and it was absolutely delicious. We couldn't finish it all, so we were then offered some boxes to take our food away with us. Thank you so much for the very speedy and high quality, friendly service. We enjoyed the bread and olives, padron peppers, red pepper and goats cheese (my favourite!) and the croquettes. Highly recommend for a light bite to eat!

I was there when it was slammed because of the rugby. They were short staffed so there was a bit of a wait, but was completely worth it. Food was amazing and staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended their deserts.

I visited recently for some after work food and drinks and was pleasantly surprised. The staff here are extremely knowledgeable about their drink and food with the barman giving us a huge amount of information about the range of drinks that they had there. The food menu is pretty extensive and has something to please everybody. Ordering was quick and easy and the food didn't take too long to come out, despite being very busy at the time we visited. I highly recommend this place and will certainly be back for tapas here again.

Lovely tapas bar with brilliant staff. We were starving, and after some table shifting managed to get a seat on the terrace. Although we would have preferred to be inside (because it looked wonderful) we had a beautifully prepared meal, paired with great wine. Thanks to Jack and the rest of the staff (particularly the chef) for the fantastic experience!

Great sherry list. Friendly team. Some of the dishes have changed over the last couple of years - personal preference, obviously, but for me moving away from their authentic roots. Still delicious though and the sea water beer is worth a visit alone
