I would like to make an apology over my behaviour on Saturday when I visited. I was rude and really difficult with Sarah over COVID restrictions when in hindsight she was just keeping my family safe. I would like my apologies passed on. The food was great, Sarah made sure we had plenty of drinks and kept the children occupied with the activity packs. I am deeply sorry for how I treated Sarah as she remained 100% professional with me and my family and looking after the table even after my unacceptable actions. This showed strength and professionalism as I was 100% out of order. We will visit again when we come back to Wales. I am sorry once again as I could see she was upset by my behaviour and I should never have treated her like that and she still delivered excellent customer service under difficult circumstances that I created. Sarah is really an exceptional person and please tell her that I am deeply sorry.

Really really unhappy about today's experience. Thought I'd pop in for a quick bite to eat in my lunch hour. Was only 2 other tables taken on arrival. I ordered wings to start and all started fine. I ordered a flat bread for main and my partner ordered the salmon. After being in the venue an hour our main still hadn't arrived, I was on my lunch break so had to leave my partner there and not have food. I also had a digital 20% voucher on my phone, so that couldn't be used when my partner after I left. £40 gone, I didn't get to eat - really not happy and will not be returning

Lovely visit! Great food and service. Also the Cutlery and cups were so very clean! 😂 Who reviews a site to say the cups and cutlery are dirty, was it after your meal? Just a tip… ask for a clean one 🤦🏻‍♂️

Very disappointing for a Harvester. I'm not sure why your standards have dropped. Stale bread, very little choice left at the salad bar. Asked if i wanted any more Guinness as they wanted to clean the lines. Unable to get coffee after our meal as the machine was turned off. The place doesn't feel that clean. Thread bare carpet by the salad bar, or just trodden in dirt. Your staff do not seem very happy, which is quite off putting on arrival, and throughout the service. It's definitely not what I would expect from such a big chain, and we definitely won't be going back.

Cannot say a bad thing about the place. They bent over backwards to help us out, the food was amazing and the service was even better. I had an unfortunately mishap where my blood sugars dropped and started feeling ill, the waitress put my food under the hotplate to keep it warm while i went to find a pharmacy and even cooking times were rushed to make sure i had eaten quick. Thanks to this amazing restaurant for understanding and helping

Staffing seemed to be an issue . The restaurant was quiet yet it took 40 minutes for our food to arrive and when it did we were missing an entire meal. We were a family of 4 and only 3 meals were processed. One adult meal was missing, the waitress that brought the meals over was different to the waitress that had taken the order and she had questioned if one was missing. Why did it take for the meals to be brought out before it was picked up ? We were sat in the restaurant it wasn't busy , somebody could have asked

Always love coming here. Great friendly staff and the food is always spot on. Lovely atmosphere but usually come during school time so there's no so many kids 😀

The main meal was lovely although I asked for well done steak and got medium gave most of it to a friend as by the time a member of staff come near is the meal would have been cold hardly any choice on salad bar due to supplier, maybe change supplier or use an alternative as a back up. Staff very few and far between. Bread rolls still partly frozen

Went there for my mum's birthday. There was 13 of us staff were very friendly. Looked after us all. Liked that the food came out all at once nice to see that. Food was piping hot. Food was great everyone said there food was lovely. The place is starting to look very tiered and needs a revamp to bring back up the standard.

We booked this restaurant for after my son's graduation, we had to change times due to running a few hours late staff were fabulous and understanding, we had nice seating & enjoyed a fantastic meal, salad bar was stocked up could see the waiting staff going above and beyond to please customers even tho it was busy, although this isn't our local Harvester we do enjoy this one the best, many thanks to our waitress Coedy!! She was so helpful x

Lovely food, all fresh and piping hot. Brought out really promptly. I send food back wherever I go as standards are generally poor in most places, but this was lovely and worth reviewing

We had high hopes for our visit after hearing how great your evening service was, so chose to have our wedding anniversary breakfast here. Unfortunately, we were met with disappointment. When we entered, we were greeted and shown to an empty table so it was great that we didn’t have to book. However, it all went downhill from there. My husband asked for a pot of tea and was brought just a cup of tea. When this was queried, we were told the pot of tea was only available if ordering unlimited tea. You’ll find that I have been charged for unlimited tea, so I’m not quite sure why we didn’t receive this. We also placed our order for food and were waiting around 40 minutes for our breakfast, only for the order to be incorrect. We both ordered fried eggs, but poached eggs were what was served. When this was raised with the waitress, she proceeded to speak over me and despite offering to bring us a replacement, I was not happy to accept this as we would have been facing a further wait, and we were very hungry at this point. The food in general was tasteless and not at all pleasant. There is no longer the option to self-serve continental breakfast which was much appreciated when facing a wait for hot food in the past. Overall, the food was poor and the customer service even worse. I would not be keen to return nor recommend to anyone else.

13 of us met up and enjoyed a lovely family & friends meal here yesterday. It’s a lovely harvesters- one of the older ones which we preferred, because its partially carpeted and has no large windows, sounds & chatter doesn’t carry so it’s a lot quieter. The food was delicious and piping hot on arrival- well presented and the salad bar well stocked. Desserts all delicious as well especially the rocky horror !! Our server Sam was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble, we had 2 people in our group with allergies and she was so attentive with them making sure they were catered for. So credit to Sam!! Overall a lovely evening, delicious food and great service *****

The assistant manager ( sorry I forgot his name) was absolutely fantastic. He showed us to our table and took our drinks orders. His customer service was impeccable and he made us feel very welcome. Thank you so

Came for the 3rd time with my partner & our 1 year old. Lovely place to go! The food is incredible & our sever, Chelsea, was great! Only thing I wish they did was a kids menu so we wouldn't need to order off the Extra Sides menu for our little one. Although they do provide high chairs for the little ones. Will definitely come again for the food though!

Very clean ngl but food is quite pricey and it took long time to arrive but staff are amazing and lovely always happy to help and get anything we needed. Watched a staff member assisted and set up clean table for someone that had a disability and met their needs and went above and beyond, the staff member was called Kate! Full credit to her

Atmosphere as expected for a pub lunch. Service - staff were lovely and enthusiastic but no fault of the server - you could tell they were short on staff. Food - I was highly disappointed in the dirty fries- a bowl of chips topped with the free salad bar bits, it looked pretty depressing.

We arrived without a reservation, but were squeezed in on a busy service. Sam was an excellent server. We needed to make some minor adjustments to the menu offering and she sorted that out for us. The food was good and fairly sized for the cost. We weren't rushed at all. All in all a lovely meal and atmosphere.

We had a lovely lunch here - the service from Tiffany, Carly and Amy H was excellent, they were very friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was all nice, except we prefer grilled sweetcorn on the cob rather than boiled - which they did for me once I had requested it. We even got a discount with our Blue Light Card! We'll come again!

We loved the whole experience! Our server was flawless, she was so busy, but could see she was managing great. Nothing was a problem at all. The whole team we could see worked together. Food was fab, salad cart so nice. Really good fresh range of salads on the cart. Thank you to our server again, we didn’t catch her name though,

We visited recently to celebrate a birthday. We were brought to our table by a male manager Who was fantastic from start to finish. We had an issue with a glass of wine which was quickly resolved between Kaz and the Manager, we loved having Kaz as our waitress as she showed a genuine interest and positive outlook in making sure our experience was wonderful. We wanted to write this review as a recognition to having such a valuable team member within your staff! Also to the manager who went above and beyond And top door experience off. Thank you all :)

A bit disappointed with the "all in" breakfast option pre covid there was so much to choose from and it was really good value for money but not anymore. No fruit, no cereal, no crumpets offered. Only had 1 cup of tea and 1 glass of orange juice, it used to be unlimited. What we did have tasted great and was all cooked well.

Fantastic. We were actually asked about allergies, then had to read through a statement on the servers order pad. To many this won't make a difference but to us it did and it showed how seriously they take things and how understanding they are. Brilliant food, great service. 5 very happy people!

I visited on the weekend with my family and it was great. Sarah was fantastic and made sure the children were happy with the colouring books. Nothing was too much trouble for Sarah and she delivered exceptional customer service. The food and drinks were all great value for money and of great presentation. Our food was cooked to perfection. The lady who met us at the front door was also lovely and very welcoming. We will definitely visit again. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

We had breakfast for the first time in Harvester's in Llanederyn today 1/10/21, it was really nice, everything was piping hot, the poached eggs were excellent, staff were friendly. The only small criticism is, we thought it was a little expensive, as you pay extra for the toast, we had 4 slices, tea & coffee it all came to just under £18. Our usual place to go is the Toby Carvery, where it is an all you can eat buffet breakfast including as much toast as you want. Tea, coffee etc is extra, the total is usually just under £14. But nonetheless we really enjoyed our meal at the Harvesters & would go again.

Love it here! Food is always really nice and the staff are always friendly :) the evening we came (08/09/23) there were only two servers working, Tiffany and I didn’t get the gentleman’s name.. they were amazing! So kind and attentive and made us feel very welcome.

Brilliant service from Sarah from the delivery team this Saturday. Uber eats let us down and couldn't deliver our order, but Sarah went above and beyond to resolve this, and we had our food shortly after. Food was hot and tasty with good proportions. 😃

We came in yesterday for a family meal, we were kept waiting at the door for 15 minutes and another 15 minutes at the table. Another table by us had the same experience. I heard the table ask for a manager and when he approached the table with the waitress his attitude was very poor by asking ‘Is there a problem and what is it?’, he then blamed the wait on staff sickness and blamed the waitress for taking a break. He said then in front of the table to the waitress ‘tell them you have just come back’ to which the waitress said yes. The poor waitress, she looked so embarrassed and uncomfortable, how can it be her fault for taking a break when whilst we were waiting we observed this manager shouting orders, standing around and ignoring the waiting tables. The waitress was Sarah who was great looking after us. I didn’t get the name of the manager but he dressed in black, dark hair and was present yesterday afternoon/evening. Very poor people manager and very poor management skills.

I booked to have the Father's day 3 course meal with my husband ,we were greeted by Laura who was very welcoming ,warm and friendly she let us have a few minutes before taking our order which was nice we were'nt rushed everything went smoothly our food from start to finish was really good, cooked perfectly . Please could you pass on our compliments to the chef on that day and also to Laura she is a very lovely member of the team .

Sarah looked after us and was fantastic. It’s a shame that some people are spiteful to the waitresses when they are trying to follow covid guidelines. I would definitely return and thank you Sarah for making our visit enjoyable. Sarah is 10 out of 10 and thank you for making us feel safe in the restaurant as you followed the covid guidelines perfectly. I hope you are recognised in the business for your excellent service.

We actually went to the harvester here was a lovely meal for our anniversary. Lovely staff ,poor people had to put up with our brother inlaw lol witch I apologise for he does think he is funny. But staff and place was excellent

I was a little dubious about ordering a breakfast delivery from the harvester, but I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. The delivery didn't take long and the food was fresh, hot and delicious. Even the hash browns which don't usually travel well and end up soggy were really crisp and tasty. Thank you. We will definitely be ordering again.

Terrible place. Ordered food.. turned up before I had even had a mouthful of my salad. Was warm at best. Rice was dry. Bread rolls were stale so god knows how long they had sat there. The only decent thing about the place was the waitress who was lovely. What happened harvester... you used to be cool...

Met here with our family for lunch. Not been to a Harvester in many years as resident in Jersey. The pub itself is well presented, it is tricky to get to from the main road. The menu is very varied with plenty of choices for all diets (or lack of diet!). Prices are pretty good too. Will definately return.

Not impressed to be honest, we booked and we arrived on time, seated and handed menus, 20 min later I had to go looking for a server to take our order for food and drinks, whilst sitting other people were shown to their seats and served, it was nearly half an hour after arriving before our order was taken, the food came quite quickly once ordered. Two of three steaks ordered weren't great, mine wasn't cooked as asked, my wife's steak was tough.

  • 5/5 Alexander G. 1 year ago on Google
Went for a family meal, a pleasant atmosphere for a busy restaurant, the waitress service excellent. The meals came quite quickly and we're hot and well cooked. A delightful evening.

  • 4/5 Ian F. 2 years ago on Google
Situated in an unusual location but Google got us there. Good quality traditional Harvester popular favourites still on the menu and we can understand why. Friendly staff, good family friendly restaurant serving a menu everyone will find something to enjoy. Lovely fresh salad bar. Ribs and rotisserie chicken still their best dishes, in our opinion. Some not so good items mean they drop a star, e.g. mushy sweetcorn, but mostly still one of our go-to family restaurants. Well done after all these years.
