😠 If what I am reading is true it sounds like the chef Nathan Webb is a bully and likes to choke out his staff. Article in Metro is damming and highlights that Molly should have taken legal action against a poorly managed boys club.

This place allows their staff to choke women and attempt murder on video without firing them. A lady won a lawsuit after the manager told her to "get over it". She could have died. Stay away. Do not patronize this place.

I would never go here, based on the lack of care. Media can do really bad things for you huh. Bosses have no morality or care towards their employees and most likely customers too. Hope this place gets taken over or shut down.

Undercooked & overpriced! The Sunday roast was diabolical to say the least. The Yorkshire Pudd tasted like Aunt Bessie had made them. The lamb was tougher than leather & chewy to the point of having to stop eating it before my jaw locked up, not good - not even sure it was Welsh lamb judging by the lack of flavour! Just another overpriced posh Pontcanna eatery where the only thing they care about is lining their own pockets. Not the cleanest of places either.

This is where we went for Beaujolais Day in Cardiff again this year (Nov 2017). Brilliant service, great atmosphere, plenty of choice on the menu. Tracy and her team are such good hosts... New review added April 2018: We booked the room upstairs for my wife's 50th birthday party, and everything Tracy and her team arranged was simply perfection... from the room arrangements and prep, the great food, to the bar tab selection, fizz reception, and bar service from 7pm til almost 2am. Just an amazing evening, with family and friends - enjoyed by all! Well done Cameo (upping my previous review to 5*). Will be back soon.

Excellent food lovely cosy atmosphere, perfect for sharing with friends or couples or dining alone. Decorated with movie star and celebrity portraits. Try the scallops with sauce or sample the steak wide selection of dishes available.

Nice for drinks - decent cocktails. Not so keen on the food which is very average and IMO overpriced esp compared to some excellent neighbouring restaurants. A nice atmosphere, small and friendly, and open late (2:00 on a Saturday).

Wasnt the worst roast I've had. But the lamb wasnt seasoned and even upon replacement yorkshires, they were all raw im the middle. Nice atmosphere

Took advantage of the β€˜two burger tuesday’ offer - was really good. Really nice food and genuine homemade burgers - you know when you can tell the difference. The starters were really good too. Got there early (6pm) and wasn’t busy. Fast friendly service.

Very disappointed tonight with the food and service. Waited 10minutes in the restaurant before seating ourselves at a table. Ordered tapas, which was more like a buffet of fried bits and pieces - fried prawns, fried spring rolls, fried squid, and fried fish and some rustic breads (4 slices of oven dried white French stick). To top it off there were a few very drunk rowdy diners and the music was so loud, that we struggled to speak at one point. As a regular visitor and diner this was the worst experience we have ever had at the Cameo.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Great Jamaican food, we had a great time! I highly recommend the bottomless brunch, our waitress, Lucy, was very attentive and we had a great chat about nights out in Cardiff! The bar staff's cocktails were beautiful, too!
