Poor. We were made subjects of discrimination here. The big lady on the counter asked if we were all paying together or separate? Our response was separate please. The big lady then made us pay up front before we could eat. We then sat next to the till the entire time and watched other people walk in and not pay until they had eaten. Food selection wasn't too great. Deserts werent either. The chocolate on the chocolate fountain tasted terrible. The ice cream was very runny. Had to wait for noodles and chips to come out which took around 5 minutes.

Went in on Bank Holiday Monday. Wasn't impressed. Very prompt with the drinks but we were hanging around waiting for 6 out of 15 mains to be replaced. The food was nice but nothing special. Good for a quick bite as its all you can eat buffet style and can get parking ticket sorted. Wouldn't be my personal choice out of the great places to eat in the surrounding area.

Good quality food but not much variety between lunch and evening availability. Clean all round, but staff overworked so "occasionally" your empty plates stack up until you leave, but tables are cleaned quickly upon leaving, and buffet area is cleaned frequently during service, so not a complaint but an observation. Staff are helpful and when restaurant is quieter are attentive, but as said above are overworked when restaurant gets busier. Accommodating as best as possible for disabilities, if a little congested when busy. Overall good experience over the years, and have rarely been properly disappointed.

Always quick and easy to eat here and the pricing isn't too bad. They have a crazy system for kids food pricing, which runs by how tall your children are though. The taller your kids, the more they pay! The food is tasty though and there's a decent amount on offer. The dining room is alright and there's always relaxing music playing.

Fair choice of dishes that are replenished often includes hot buffet dishes. Starters mains and afters in three places so clearly marked.Dessert offers fresh fruit and there is a salad counter. Good for the price. Welcoming staff and large seating area. Ideal also for children.

The location is perfect especially with the family. However, the menu is very limited for vegetarians. Disappointed with this but the food is good.

Great service and lovely food! Staff are friendly and managed to sit us down and serve drinks within a few minutes. The food was piping hot and continuously topped up to keep each dish fresh. There's plenty of options, from starters to desserts! (also a lot of vegetarian options). Best place down the bay for a bite!

If you're going to go, make it a weekend. The midweek buffet is good but has nothing on a weekend evening. Food is always good here, lots of choice for young kids and fussier eaters - chicken nuggets, chips, onion rings, that sort of thing. And for those looking for chinese food it's of a good quality. Service is fast and the staff are lovely and help wherever required.

The food was average. But after my partner used the toilet and came out and told me the state of them we quickly lost our appetite. If the toilets are that bad what's the rest like? The cleaning schedule was already signed for 10pm that night.. we were in there at half 7...? It was lacking any atmosphere.. get in, get food, get out. No background music at all. McDonald's is more welcoming. Was gutted. For £15 I could have had a pub meal and been more satisfied. Won't be returning.

A long standing restaurant in the bay possibly the longest one in the Red Dragon Centre? So have visited many times over the years. Staff are always friendly. It's Cheap n cheerful buffet food not pretending to be anything else. Decent for the money at lunch time. But agree with others that the variety could do with mixing up. And there's not much difference in food choice for the evenings to make it worth paying more for. So yeah could do with a refreshed attitude and a more wow factor menu especially when the prices are higher. But In all honesty we've never had bad food or service there in all this time. It's tasty and family friendly.

Food was warm, not alot of choice as they were only cooking a quarter of the food as restaurant was not that busy, would not go back there in a rush

Just had the misfortune to eat at this establishment. We were charged for 3 meals even though only 2 meals were ordered. This was rectified when we pointed it out but 2 of the dishes were inedible , the shredded beef had obviously hung around all day it was Rock hard I couldn't eat any of it and the sweet and sour was disgusting, no flavour at all. The noodles and rice were barely edible. The ice cream was good though. Avoid ,avoid ,avoid it's the worst Chinese meal I have ever eaten.

Best place in Cardiff. Fantastic range of choice, excellent food and service. My favourite food is chicken and all the chicken dishes are brilliant. I have seen posts on here complaining about the chicken and I simply don't understand it. I am quite local and have eaten here for years, taken guests here and even European project groups and they all love it. Everybody has a view I guess and mine is on the super complimentary because I love it here. My advice, ignore all of the reviews, good and bad and try it once for yourself, it really is a must try venue and you will know whether you want to come back or not. Daytime half the price of evening so obviously a greater choice in the evenings. Good luck

👍👍 Great Jamaican food, we had a great time! I highly recommend the bottomless brunch, our waitress, Lucy, was very attentive and we had a great chat about nights out in Cardiff! The bar staff's cocktails were beautiful, too!
