After walking around Cardiff market and heading upstairs I stumbled upon this pizza place and there was no way I was walking past without giving one a go. I’m so glad that I did because what fantastic pizza! The pizza was cooked to perfection and full of flavour and all of the menu was reasonably priced. There was a long wait for the pizza to arrive and the extra topping I asked for the guy did make up a price on the spot at £4 which I thought was a little much. But overall I would recommend as it’s some of the best pizza around and it was also great to see this type of place situated in Cardiff market.

Very good pizza in Cardiff market, it's upstairs if you are searching for it. Made in an authentic wood burning oven, they have the classic pizza taste with a charred crust. Some unusual choices on the menu, well worth a try.

Overall great fresh pizza cooked in a Woodford oven! Quality ingredients used gave the pizza beautiful fluffy crust with beautiful tomato sauce and fresh cheese. In my top 10 best pizzas! Definitely recommend it’s located in the market on 1st floor up the stairs. Price point excellent value £7 one pizza will feed one person 4 slices.

We had the pizza van for our wedding and to say it went down a storm would be an understatement! When our wedding is mentioned so many people say ‘the pizza was amazing!’ 😂 The service was excellent and they even left a little card for us in our card box 😊🍕

If you haven't visited this place then you need to. I was recommended here by a fellow market stall (scentchak) it's upstairs in the market cooked and made fresh in front of you. I honestly can say its the best pizza I've ever had. The service was amazing. Loads of seating. Cannot fault it.

This place had been recommended by colleagues. I took the kids there one Saturday which is situated upstairs in Cardiff Market. The place is clearly popular as long queues started forming as we waited for our pizza. It's basically a stall with a large oven and long benches to eat. I ordered the So Fez sausage pizza. Classic neopolitana style dough base beautifully cooked with fresh toppings. Thoroughly recommended.

The best food item you can buy in the city centre for under £10. Has to be a ffwrnes pizza. Fen soz is a banger but you can’t beat the cosacca, tones of pecorino deliciousness. This is an elite lunch option you must try !

Delicious pizza, cooked fresh and great value! Enjoyed in the upper floor (mezzanine) of Cardiff Indoor Market in the city centre, so a pleasant atmosphere. Had received many recommendations to try the pizzas here and I'm so glad I did. Will definitely be going again!

Pizza Cravings?! The "West Coast Ffwrnes Pizza Crew" will make a fresh pizza within minutes of serving you a hot delicious pizza out from a custom built stone oven that satisfies any level of hunger! Whether you need one or a few pizzas, this place will bake'em! The pizza is a thin style and absolutely packed with flavor that will redefine what your expectations are. Not greasy or heavy feeling after with fresh ingredients. As well as the price being very fair and won't burn a hole in your wallet. 🤩 You will not be disappointed 🤩

Not the best pizza I've had. All the ingredients fell off the pizza once picked up to eat, and it had a burnt taste. We could hear how exhausted the staff were when calling for orders.

Still sitting IN MY SEAT and couldn't wait to leave a 5star review for these guys and their pizza because it blew me and my partner away. Authentic ovenfired pizza made to order. Cool, casual atmosphere overlooking the indoor market. If you're a pizza person, you must try this place.

Excellent pizza, service, and location. I realised whilst waiting that I would have to rush to catch the next train but thankfully the [Sobrasada] pizza arrived promptly and I was able to enjoy it, albeit quickly.

great pizzas ... as with any popular place there was a wait for pizzas ... they were good.

Very tasty pizza, freshly made, at a reasonable price. Probably the best Naples style pizza I found in Cardiff. Topic are not the classic ones but work well. The main downside is that they are only open lunchtime (and closed Sun/Mon) and they don't deliver. If it wasn't for the opening times I would be a regular customer :)

Best wood-fired pizza I have ever had. All parts of the pizza, from the leopard-spotted crust, San Marzano tomato base, to the various toppings (fennel sausage is my favourite) are 10/10.

Great little gem on the top floor of Cardiff Market. Delicious pizzas with fresh ingredients and also a unique selection. Great value as well. 10/10 would recommend.

Waited a while to visit here, what with Covid and all, but it was well worth the wait and I won't be waiting so long to return. Amazing pizza and fantastic value. Great staff and a more "street food" type setting for a more authentic experience... the setting adds to the experience. The "Pizza Boys", showing us how it's done, are also generous with their advice; I've been grateful for the advice they've shared on social media as I've tried to replicate at home during lockdown 👍

I've been to this place twice. The first time the pizza was just perfect, from the bubbly base to the toppings. Today the base wasn't as airy and light like the first time, still a very good pizza, with different toppings from the first one but still top quality. The guys have a very friendly approach which makes the whole experience very enjoyable.

Some of the best pizza I've ever had. The crust is soft and bubbly, and the sauce is very fresh and flavorful. The service is friendly and the food came quickly. The price is reasonable and frankly low for high the quality is.

Hidden away on the upper level of Cardiff market, is probably the best pizza in Wales.

Amazing pizza place in Cardiff Market on the balcony. A great choice of pizza types with different toppings and all hand made whilst you wait using a pizza oven. The best pizza place in the city centre. Can sit in the market and eat of box up and take away. Nice and cheap too which is superb! Highly recommended.

Spotted this place on our last visit to Cardiff, came back and gave them a go... fantastic! Super tasty pizzas with a view out over the market. Loved it! 👍👍

Thanks you Ffwrnes pizza for the amazing pizzas you provided for our wedding! They went down an absolute storm! Such lovely people, nothing was too much trouble even down to the pizzas you saved for me and my new husband(!) at the end of the evening. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone. Thanks for helping us celebrate our wedding day!

The pizza is amazing. This is getter than domino's pizza. The menu is small but it's good. I got the last pizza today. There was a issue of not enough dough so they refunded the food while giving the pizza. I would come again!

Hidden gem upstairs in the market, pizza base was superb and one of the best we’ve tried! If you’re dining in the pizza is served on a plate rather than a takeaway box which is a nice touch. Staff are really pleasant and attentive.
