😠 Used to be fantastic, great flavour to the chicken curry. But lately the chicken is boiled and too soft, it has an awful texture and the curry sauce has gone from a distinct reddish colour full of flavour to a more golden flavourless and watery sauce. I really don’t know why they have stopped fryin... People often mention chicken,

The food is very nice. However the lady that answers the phone is very rude and abrupt. It's a real shame, it just spoils the whole process.. You try to order from a local firm but there is no need to be rude. Not very business like.

I really don’t know why they have stopped frying the chicken, or the reason for changing the sauce but its put me off. I thought the first time it was a one off, but 2 take aways in a row has forced me to bin the food. Its the same reason I stopped buying food from Sun Wah, after they started boiling the chicken.

Never ordering from man po ever again. I'm convinced the chicken in the Cantonese sauce was rats legs . Full of gristle and solid bone 🦴 should be shut down after seeing all the 1 star reviews

Felt the need to leave this after stumbling through the other reviews. Been ordering from Man Po as long as i can remember, never had a bad meal, tried numerous different dishes over the years and no complaints from me personally. Yes there was a change in chef a couple years a go, sauces were a lot thinner, flavour was still there, but things appear to be back to how they were... deliveries do tend to be over and hour however they do advise you of this, if you collect though, 10 minutes. Delivery times should be expected when they're an indipendent company who do not use just eat etc, they use their own delivery drivers, one bloke in particular who's been their as long as i can remember provides quality service, in regard to the lovely lady on reception... she's just doing long hours, day in day out having practically the same conversation over and over, every day! Give her a break, i always get service with a smile, i wouldn't say its rude service, its efficient as she has many more orders to take as there is only one phone, stop being so entitled. My only complaint would now be the plastic containers, i miss my foil containers that keep my food hot, also means we're now paying more for less food unfortunately as the containers are a good quarter smaller than what they used to be. Big up Man Po, wouldn't choose another takeaway in the area, top quality, great flavours, hope its there for years to come.

Busy very busy small little Chinese takeaway, good value honest food, but be prepared to Que for your food as it's so busy parking in the side street can be hard as well due to its popularity with locals etc.

I love man po but tonight they Took two hours to deliver... Everything was cold & spoilt, They failed to complete the order and then when I attempted to phone back to inform them I was missing something I didn't get an answer, so I didn't even get what I paid for.

Ordered the set meal for one, £14 sounded reasonable until I tasted it. The most disgusting takeaway I have ever bought, the pork balls were so low quality and fatty they were inedible, almost gagged on the second one. The rice had so much salt (at least I hope it was salt) in it my lips were burning and couldn't get rid of the taste for hours. The rest is in the kitchen as the smell put a stop to my adventure, felt sick just looking at it. Not even worth one star, will probably have to pay someone who handles hazardous waste to take the rest away as it will probably damage my bin.

Decided to order from here and it will be the LAST time. The food came and the “crispy” shredded chicken was soggy ? The rice was soggy and cold, the noodles tasted like they were gone off. The chips were dry and felt like they had been sitting in the fryer for hours. I called and they advised that they would make us fresh food as it was completely inedible. The “fresh food” was then delivered again and it was COLD and still soggy. So im wondering whether this food is being warmed up in the microwave. NEVER ordering food from here ever again. VILE

👍👍 Great Jamaican food, we had a great time! I highly recommend the bottomless brunch, our waitress, Lucy, was very attentive and we had a great chat about nights out in Cardiff! The bar staff's cocktails were beautiful, too!
