👍👍 Finally managed to get here, and it was worth waiting for. A lovely croque madame for me with french onion soup for the boss. Might only have been lunch but can't wait to come back. Glad we rang in advance and reserved a table as numerous people were turned away as it was at capacity. People often mention service, friendly, lovely, lunch, Sunday, roast, staff,

Lovely little spot. Tried the lamb Sunday roast, onion soup, and croque monsieur - all fab! Had a slice of carrot cake for dessert that was delicious. Will definitely be back!!

Sunday dinner , really decent for the price. Imagine nana is french and has out done her self and made you her absolute finest roast dinner. Solid 8/10. Beef cooked in a traditional French style that basically melts in your mouth. (It almost feels braised rather the roasted). Cauli cheese that leaves strands of cheese mid air and you need to pull apart because cheese is the word of the day. Super homley feel with friendly personal service. You won't find a better roast dinner in Cardiff at this price point. Had two drinks a shared starter and two roast dinners at £30 . 👀👀🔥🔥 We will be back for sure

The food is excellent, and atmosphere is very nice too. I love how intimate and personal it feels compared to a larger restaurant or café.

I hate to rate this place because it's not big and if you all go there I wont get a table. Friendly family business. Great little French heavy cafe. Specials and generous portions. I love this place

Hidden gem in Cardiff! Friendly service, delicious food, and charming atmosphere. It’s our new favourite place for sure! Forgot to take any photos as we were lost in the moment on a Sunday afternoon. 😄

Nice 'compact and bijou' restaurant. Good, bistro-style food (moules, croque monsieur, salade nicoise etc), friendly staff, nice atmos. Lovely little secret spot just off Wellfield Road. Recommended.

The area is not very big, but there's a few tables outside as well. Good service and with cat as logos. Food tastes good 👍 😋

Another small, hidden gem of the area. Authentic food, cozy interior and lovely people. Certainly must try if you're looking for something different for the breakfast time in Cardiff. Opens up a bit late at 9:30 though.

My first visit today and I'll definitely be back. Small, cosy and friendly, and very clean. Efficient service, genuine French style and a generous spirit. Large portions of fresh, tasty food came within ten minutes, and the house wine was good quality, crisp and chilled to perfection. Loved it! 😊

My favourite place to eat out at night in Cardiff. The atmosphere is unbeatable as you sit in the little siding of Wellfield court arcade under the lights, with potted plants and trellis' between the tables. Reminded me of sitting outside European cafes on holiday. The food is delicious, authentic, really well priced and served promptly. Their Croques are not to be missed. The staff are so friendly, up for a chat, and incredibly accommodating, they have a real passion for their cafe. They even made sure that there was a vegan option available for the day I was booking! Everyone I have taken has thoroughly enjoyed it here and insisted on going back. Would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing evening out with good food!

This was my first visit ,and I was extremely impressed, service was exceptional the waitress / hostess was absolutely lovely, her French flair and love for her job was fantastic. Food was piping hot and plenty of it. They even provided a doggie bowl with water for my friends little dog to have a drink. I look forward to revisiting, especially for Sunday lunch, which is highly recommended. I recommend you pay a visit, you won't be disappointed. 5 🌟.
