The
Good:
Location,
value
(we
paid
£39
pp
for
a
family
room
of
four
with
breakfast)
one
of
the
beds
was
comfy
(others
not
so),
clean
linen,
spacious
family
room.
The
Bad:
On
arrival
the
kettle
was
disgusting
with
old
sugar
papers
and
lots
of
orange
stuff
coming
out
when
filled
(always
rinse
your
room
kettle!!!),
lumpy
pillows,
very
tired
room
and
general
public
areas.
The
Angel
I
have
known
for
over
30
years,
and
she
is
a
Grande
Dame,
but
one
now
who
should
be
retired.
Too
much
money
needs
spending
on
her.
Staff
mixed
-
some
amazing
and
others
not
so.
View
from
room
224
was
abysmal
with
the
neighbouring
room
(non
guest
I
imagine)
with
old
food
on
plates
visible
in
the
window.
Frost
the
glass
rather
than
see
the
bones
of
the
hotel
(pipes
and
generally
ugly).
In
the
evening
we
used
the
stairs
to
go
out
and
there
were
several
young
children
on
the
mid
landing
with
small
toys
everywhere.
We
have
to
pick
our
way
over
and
through
them.
Not
safe.
I
guess
from
one
other
encounter
along
with
this
one
that
the
hotel
is
hosting
refugees
which
is
wonderful,
but
care
needs
to
be
taken
when
mixing
long
term
residents
with
regular
guests
regarding
safety
and
fire
regs.
