Chapter, the food is well below par. I don't know where to start but every meal at our table if 7 was below par. Your chips are awful u could get better chips and food from an average supermarket and make it yourself. I love chapter but the food really should be a focal point and it isn't.

Great vibe here, love coming for a quick drink before heading home but the food was lush the one time I tried. Not been to the cinema here for a long time, something I'm gonna have to rectify in the near future.

Claire always selects a good film for us to watch. She also gives us a brief insight into the film beforehand , which is very helpful. Chapter Arts Centre is a remarkable building, offering food and drink. We'll worth visiting.

Love love LOVE Chapter!! Been here to see quite a few films and always have such a good time. It's so much nicer than going to a big chain cinema for literally the same price, and they are much more likely to do subtitled screenings which means I enjoy watching the films so much more. Also went to the cafe for lunch last week, and loved it. The salad bowl was SO tasty and the coffee was brilliant too! They also have a lot more going on so definitely recommend seeing what's on and giving them a visit!

A wonderful arts centre, with a great variety of activities available to visitors. There is a cinema, theatre and gallery. Great workshop spaces. There are also community activities, such as games nights and a wonderful storytelling circle. There's a large cafe/bar area that, while not cheap, is well stocked, with something for everyone. My experience of eating here is very positive. There are also, often, great performances held here by well known stage acts and commedians.

Terrific venue. Lovely and with a good bar and restaurant. The cinemas are terrific with great seating and usually a good audience who respect the rules. I haven't been there for years but after this experience I'll be heading back soon.

First time here and it was not a disappointment, lots of events going on when we got there from cinema, cultural and what we came for an jazz fusion instrumentalist. Building is really spacious with an enclosed courtyard that was glass covered. Bar was great with a good range of drinks to suit all. Plenty of seating for small and large groups. My first experience of gender neutral toilets that actually were very inclusive and thought out design. Overall it's a unique setting with plenty to offer.

Good place to meet friends, eat, chat, visit the Gallery. Should be more prominent signage though that current content not suitable for under 12 years. Friendly, efficient. Free grab bags for kids in school holidays, maybe an idea to have voluntary donations. Parking is not easy but well worth a visit.

I absolutely love Chapter - Theatre and cinema is great and shows mainstream films as well as ones you wouldn't usually see. The restaurant/bar is lovely and the food is excellent. We went for Burns Night and had a great time. Highly recommend

Beautiful venue, stayed only for a few drinks but great bar selection, good atmosphere and made me want to go back to see more of what they have to offer.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch. Cakes and drinks are good too. Car park at rear but is busy. Plenty of seating, suggest you get here by noon because it fills up quickly

Used to live nearby and during that time I was a regular. Good bar/cafe, including range of beers and covered outdoor seating. Diverse selection of films in the cinema and variety of other events.

Absolutely amazing breakfast with the best home-made sausages I have EVER eaten. The staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is superb. This place is a must if you are in the area. Wonderful!

Going to the cinema in Chapter is a lovely experience. Plenty of legroom comfortable seats and you tend not to get the chatting, sweet wrappers, phones etc! Big bar with ample seating inside and out. Always a good atmosphere in Chapter.

Chapter Arts Centre is that unique place at the heart of the Welsh Capital which has a character and flavour of it's own. I've visited it several times over past 8 years and have always come back feeling inspired. Be it's "Carry on Screaming" film sessions where mums of babies and toddlers can let their hair down, be it the regular classes, community events, unique films or simply the ambience of the cafe, Chapter is simply a wonderful place 😊

Great place to spend an evening. Always with several things going on. The cinema is small, but decent. You will find some alternatives movies there.

One of my favourite cinemas! The tickets are a really good price and it's obvious that Chapter really cares about films and what they show there. I can't wait for them to start running the film festivals there again :)

Essential arts and cinema hub. Great meeting place for food and drink too. South Wales needs more places like this.

A lovely intimate place to go for a quick bite or a coffee. We went to the Cinema there to see a film and the seats were very comfortable. Service was really helpful and at the time we were only able to order food and drinks using the online app which is easy to use and knows your table from the QR code you scan to place your order.

We had a great afternoon meeting friends, the app order works really well.

Very different to your normal cinema venues, the staff didn't seem to know how to use the disabled lift, didn't have a clue. My partner did most of the work. For that reason I have given a 3 star review

Food is good & well priced considering it's a charity/arts centre and the local area. The fact that you can get a breakfast tea for just £1.25 gets it a big thumbs up, and there's always space to sit for a long catch up or to get your laptop out. However, the bar service is often very slow and I've had more than one instance of café/bar staff just being plain rude - in general, the customer service here could use some work.

👍👍 Great Jamaican food, we had a great time! I highly recommend the bottomless brunch, our waitress, Lucy, was very attentive and we had a great chat about nights out in Cardiff! The bar staff's cocktails were beautiful, too!
