Found no so long ago that they do halal chicken. So decided to try it today on our anniversary. Couldnt have chosen a better place as me and my husband dont always love fancy restaurants. We got there a bit late, staff was very friendly. Ordered Quesarito and California, both with jerk chicken, salsa and salad. Also ordered soft shell tacos (as they didnt have any crispy shell left) with chicken, beans and vegetables. Safe to say we enjoyed every bit of it. The food was fresh and full of flavour. Big sized portions and good value for money. The only let down were Churros as the dough was quite chewy and the sauce was thick and cold. Would definitely be returning soon for more burritos.

The naked burrito is really filling and was super delicious. Could have been topped with a little more cheese though. But when topped with Naga Bhut Jolokia sauce, it made it super fiery and tasty!! Also, if you're a student and have UniDays installed, you can get your first burrito at £1

Visited the store today, what an experience ! Food was absolutely stunning and staff were so friendly, especially the female manager with brown hair in a shirt, I didn't catch her name unfortunately but she was so polite and helpful, really couldn't do enough for me ! The store was spotless and credit to the manager keeping the queue moving but still managing to have a lovely conversation and keep up repertoire with customers ! Will definitely be returning !!

Very rude behavior by Eathan. Asked me as a customer whether I was here to collect too good to go!!! Was racist just cause I’m Indian made me feel like I cannot afford a meal here. Terrible behavior throughout made sure I would never visit them again. Not the kind of staff you should have. Bar burrito can do better than this

I visited on Thursday last week and was served by bec, she was amazing from start to finish. I had several questions about certain meats and what tasted good/ filled me up the most. 10/10 recommend and I definitely will be back!

I visited Bar Burrito yesterday. It was a quick decision for lunch. I was greeted by a lovely member of staff called Ethan. He was really knowledgeable and informative. I didn't know what I was having to eat, he helped and gave information on all the menu. I was so chuffed with my choices. The fajita bowl was absolutely delicious, full of fresh and tasty ingredients. Homemade guacamole,pink pickled onions. It was gorgeous. I opted for some cheesy fries too,they were amazing and a really generous portion. There was another fabulous member of staff there too called James,they are both an incredible asset to your team. Their manners and friendliness was so welcoming as I was on my own. I'm definitely going to eat there again and thoroughly recommend it.

Fantastic meal for my son and I. Churros for desert was the icing on the cake. Excellent service from the friendly staff who even slowed us to sample some of the sauces before we ordered. Yasmin was an absolute star !!

Way too tasty to pause in order to photograph it! The Barburrito is a classic for a reason. Tasty chicken, veggies and salad topped off with chunky guacamole! Highly recommend

Ordered a burrito from a burrito place called barbarity. When I finally opened the bag, all that was in it was chocolate sauce .... was surprised seeing as it was their 16th year celebration. How'd they keep customers if they charge them for burritos that aren't given

Excellent food excellent experience. First time here and with two small children. The staff were very friendly and took their time in explaining the process and what our options were. They were very patient with the children and made the process easy. The food was excellent with not even a grain of rice left over.

Reheating my cold chips, mainly deliveroo’s fault, maybe would’ve been better if I had a little bit more chilli salt? Barely there

lovely food, ordered a this is not chicken burrito and it was absolutely delicious, also ordered churros which usually come with caramel sauce but thankfully a worker called Josh swapped it out for a vegan chocolate sauce (thank you so much Josh) 10/10 will be ordering again 😊

I recently had my first burrito here and it was amazing, the staff helped me with recommendations as it was my first time trying Mexican food, they was very quick even know there was a big line, the lady with glasses was very helpful and the atmosphere was great. Was gonna go here for lunch but as both here and next door refuse to take cash because they believe taking payment choice away from customers just to increase their profits is ok, I know that there are transactional charges for cards but I am talking about operational charges with cash such as cash courier collection, Change giving charges, money storage costs eg safes etc and higher insurance as cash will be on premises, so while businesses hide behind excuses like speed, health and safety convince etc the real reason is to eliminate associated charges for cash.I went somewhere else even if I was planning on paying by card I would never support high street businesses that are trying to force cash a cashless society. Absolutely disgusting

Visited for my birthday burrito and the guy behind the bar was A++. Such a lovely, outgoing personality and really set the tone for the day. The food was exceptional especially for a first time experience.

Becca, Anne Marie and Alicia served us tonight and they were fantastic. Very friendly communicative and it was obvious that they worked well as a team and process was seamless even when there was a brief wait for the fresh batch black beans to arrive. We always enjoy coming to this shop and will certainly continue to do so!

Had the BEST service from an employee with black hair yesterday ( unsure of name but very tall) who went above and beyond for me and my grandmother. Extremely lovely and polite, was very patient and took his time to help us go through the options of what we could have as we’ve never been to this place before, even with it being so so busy and manic yesterday. 1000% will be coming back again with friends and family 🥹

Really enjoyed the regular beef burrito I had on 17/12/2022 at Bar Burrito, St David's Centre, Cardiff. The restaurant was very busy, but the service was swift and very friendly. The burrito was very tasty and we could have shared it between two! Delicious and very filling.

My girlfriend is a coeliac so she often struggles to find things to eat when we are out. However, most of the menu is gluten free so she was really happy. The manager was really kind and patient with us when we took ages deciding what to have, and the food was delicious. Will definitely come here again.

Myself and my daughter have been to the Cardiff branch multiple times and have always thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The staff are really friendly and helpful In choosing the perfect burrito. I would highly recommend this bar burrito to all.

Good food, I've been before, but usually it's so busy due to its popularity that there isn't much sitting space. We were lucky that we hit a quiet period, and there were plenty of seats.

Delicious burritos and really welcoming staff! They really helped us make the perfect burritos! I would only suggest a small coffee machine as I was dying to have a coffee and burrito after a nice long day of shopping. Would eat here again!

£5.40 for cold cheesy mex fries? I was given a refund as I refused to eat these. When I asked for a fork the staff member passed these to me whilst holding the fork part I would eat from. Will not return. Terrible value for below average food.

Visited this branch yesterday for a late lunch and was very impressed, I had a classic burrito with This isn’t chicken which was so delicious and the customer service was fantastic- Medi, Liv and Mickey were so friendly and James in the kitchen made this meal super delicious. Definitely recommend ⭐️
