I have been buying Welsh cakes for over the last three years, before the COVID-19. The quality and taste are always great!! Fresh, hot and delicious! Two branches can be found, in the City Center and this one in Cardiff Bay.

Lovely little shop by the bay. Has 3 vegan options (original, chocolate orange and cherry coconut) when we visited. They tasted great and staff were friendly and helpful.

Oh my gosh there so worth the drive… the cinnamon cakes are to die for so fresh and warm and delicious.. also tried the milk chocolate chip ones and Divine is an understatement… bought 15 cakes mixture worth it… when in Cardiff pop down and taste for yourselves 😋 yummy

Didn't disappoint! Great taste and friendly staff, Welsh cakes are prepared right in front of you if you want the fresh batches and can even get the pre-packed ones if needed. 60p per cake and 6pounds for a dozen, definitely coming back!

I stock up on Welsh cakes from here every time I visit Cardiff. They're absolutely lovely, highly recommended.

Karen and her team were excellent in preparing our Welshcake favours. Clearly labelled different Welshcakes for those that were gluten free or vegan. Karen was polite over emails and clearly addressed pricing and delivery. These Welshcakes were delivered fresh before our event and the guests seemed to enjoy them!

We ordered favours from Fabulous Welshcakes for our wedding and we couldn’t recommend more highly! The communication and service was excellent all the way through the process. There were so many flavours to choose from and they were also able to bake vegan classic Welshcakes for our vegan guests. Recently visited Fabulous Welshcakes in Cardiff and was thoroughly impressed! The Welshcakes were truly delightful: - perfectly baked with a beautiful balance of sweetness and texture. I’ve ordered welshcakes twice online from Fabulous Welshcakes because I miss them so much since moving away from Wales and I’ve absolutely loved them both times. Im obsessed with the new vegan flavour dark chocolate and orange and my colleagues in work loved them too! Absolutely delicious Welsh cakes! Homemade chocolate is fabulous, however one of the staff members that served us could be a little more considerate regarding sampling a Welsh cake for free when over £40 has been spent in the store. Come on guys do better.

Had previously tasted Welshcakes and not liked them but the Welshcakes at Fabulous are just that, FABULOUS! Lovely Shop. Lovely cakes. Lovely staff - very smiley and friendly. If in Cardiff a visit to this shop is a must!

Its definitely worth a try. The price is not too bad and friendly servers. Eat the warm ones for sure. We bought the to go ones to give as presents.

So I've only known Welsh cakes from Waitrose. But those are much much superior, of course, as they're super fresh and still hot. But at least 3 per person, as you'd wish you had more 😄 My favorite is the apple Welsh cake, but the traditional one is a strong competitor as well.

Oh my, I've just found out that you can order these AMAZING Welsh cakes!! They're the BEST ever, I when I last visited i brought home 12 boxes for my son, he was thrilled.

A wonderful shop with the smell of freshly made Welsh cakes. I bought one of each flavour (traditional, lemon & peanut butter) and they tasted so amazing I had to go back for more 😆 My friend had the gluten free choc chip Welsh cakes which I also tried and they were lovely too!

A lovely little shop that produces hot, fresh Welsh cakes that are ready to go. Traditional Welsh cakes and variations, with different selection each visit. A great selection of other Welsh produce and gifts. Highly recommended for gift shopping too.

Delicious little Welsh cakes, our kids loved them! So fresh and fluffy. They had different flavours from chocolate to Easter flavour (marzipan and things). They even do vegan ones so my lactose intolerant kid could finally try some. They are reasonably priced too.

Walked passed the shop 18 months ago and the smell drew us in! My husband and I are traditional Welsh cake lovers, but we tried the cherry and coconut flavour and loved it! So much so that we have just had fabulous Welsh cakes as our wedding favours last week! They were absolutely delicious. I think we will be visiting fabulous on our anniversaries <3
