Excellent food and service; such a cool little tea room! Awesome decor, so quaint with all of the teacups and plates on the walls. Delicious yummy food and such welcoming and caring staff/owners. Don’t come here if you’re in a rush and wanting something fast, but that’s not the vibe here. Take a seat and have a cuppa and chat with your fam. Highly recommend.

Had one of the best scones I've ever tasted here. And tried welsh cakes for the first time which was delicious. The staff was very friendly, would recommend!

I am genuinely surprised by how good this tea rooms is. Usually they’re twee and nice but on the whole the service is usually okay at best and the food is meh. This is not the case at all! Firstly, you can actually make reservations easily. When you arrive they’re warm and friendly and have the forethought to get your table cleared 15 mins before you arrive. The food is delicious! We had lunch and cake and I have to say the Victoria sponge was one of the best I’ve had. They do run out of scones early though! Parking can be a bit of a nightmare around there so give yourself 10 mins to find a spot if you’re driving. I will be back - need to try their afternoon tea!

The owners are so friendly and will literally do anything for anyone. Everything is baked from scratch, no shop bought cakes here. Beautiful. A proper, old fashioned tea room with beautiful afternoon tea and amazing bacon rolls! You leave feeling you have made new friends in the owners. I will be back.

We walked in to Honeybee by chance, coffee lab had no scones so we tried this next door. I’ll never go to a coffee lab again. Wonderful service. Wonderful scones and the most friendly, welcoming owner we have ever met. My wife was having a really bad day and this turning it all around 100%. Thank you so much to the team there. All of them especially the owner, was the highlight of our week. We will be back. Thank you!

Possibly my favourite spot in the UK! I went with my husband for my birthday and it was such a great experience. The food was great, the tea was perfect and the staff were the most lovely people you could ever meet. The space is so adorably decorated. I couldn’t give it a stronger recommendation.

The best little tea room! Atmospheric with cute, seasonal decorations and the loveliest specials - corned beef pie and chips like your gran made, Home made cakes and beautifully served pot of tea!

Highly recommend a visit if you're in the area. The food (bacon sandwich) was great and the home made honey cake was delicious. Great cup of coffee too. All topped off with amazing service from Laura and all the staff. Will definitely be back.

What a lovely little find! I headed there with my friend and her little one on a spontaneous meet-up midweek. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming and the staff are so lovely. They were more than happy for the little one to play around a little. The food was tasty and the cakes were delicious! The attention to detail is consistent, and the tea room is beautifully decorated. I highly recommend visiting Honeybee House! We can't wait to come back and try the afternoon tea!🧁 🍰

Walking into Honeybee House was like stepping into a simpler time, away from the hustle and bustle and stress of today. You are greeted by a team of lovely and warm hosts from whom you can just sense their passion and enthusiasm. The lunch menu was short and sweet, I didn’t feel overwhelmed with options but at the same time not lacking choice. I had a ham and cheese toastie, with ingredients sourced from local, independent businesses, which tasted like home. It also came with a wonderful salad and delicious homemade coleslaw. I had a sweet and rich Turkish delight hot chocolate with a soft and fluffy Victoria sponge. The decoration was gorgeous and the effort which must have gone into it spoke for itself. The atmosphere is so relaxed and pleasant. The stereo played what I can best describe as “old timey” songs, maybe from the 40s? Which I personally liked a lot, and contributed to the theme they were going for. Even down to the dishes and cutlery used, everything was on theme. What an incredible place to stop in for lunch or just a sweet treat with a spot of tea in the heart of Llanishen. Proud to support this business. I cannot praise the family behind Honeybee highly enough. Thoroughly recommend.

Popped in for an afternoon tea yesterday and it was fantastic. Wonderful selection of locally sourced produce to make fantastic finger sandwiches and cakes. The team were super friendly and welcoming, explaining how everything was made. Leftovers get wonderfully packed up to go, looking forward to more treats later.

Poor customer service. Asked if I was having lunch. When I said I wanted a coffee and toast, I was told they needed table space for people having lunch despite there been plenty of free tables. Pathetic customer service

Small seating area, yet amazing covid practices. Staff extremely genuine, polite and welcoming. Quality of my coffee was much higher than local larger brands a small walk away. Will go back.. maybe today!

Fabulous welcome to new and regular customers. We had a good cooked breakfast and felt so comfortable in the cosy, friendly atmosphere that we ordered more tea and a slice of the delicious homemade cake! If we stayed any longer we would have had lunch and dinner! Great friendly cafe.

My first visit at Selah and I had a so delicious Homemade Stew. The staff was so friendly 🙂 As I was alone for lunch, I really appreciated a smile, a friendly face and some kind words. Thank you for all!! The Stew was fantastic!! It arrived super fast, I was expecting that I have to wait a little bit longer as the Cafe was nearly full. And yes, it looks really charming and lovely inside. I will definitely come back.

👍👍 Great Jamaican food, we had a great time! I highly recommend the bottomless brunch, our waitress, Lucy, was very attentive and we had a great chat about nights out in Cardiff! The bar staff's cocktails were beautiful, too!
