    I've stopped using the one in Barry now as it's the worst one in Wales. Its only down the road from me and everytime you order something it's either taken too long for them to get it to you and it's stone cold or items missing. They took so long to deliver last time that 3 delivery drivers came and went whilst they left my food to stew in his own steam and as result had cold wet soggy fries by the time it got to me and the burger was dangerously inedible, I'm currently contact food health& safety via the council as I was ill after one of their recent poor efforts. Happens everytime.100% of the time. Compare this one to the one down Cardiff bay which is run much more efficiently. The one in Barry has been poorly run since they built it in Barry years ago. Bad management, bad attitude which has rubbed off onto the staff who work there. Manager couldn't run a bath. Supposed to be providing a service and always feels like they can't be bothered

    CHECK YOUR ORDERS BEFORE YOU LEAVE. So I'm quite a patient guy. But tonight I waited 20 minutes after paying (1am) to be told there are no nacho wedges. Was refunded that's it. Then I got home to find out the large fries I'd ordered were closer to a toddler's handful if that. Not first time my order has been messed up or underserved at this branch either. Check your order before you leave 😂

    Went to drive thru this evening for a rare treat and was disappointed at the service we received. We asked for the order to be double bagged and was asked to wait at the next window. 10 minutes later and plenty of cars passed by us with their orders and still nothing and so we went back to the other window to check for update and they tried to say that we weren't at the window when they were there with our order, which was a downright lie. So we had to wait another 10 minutes for our order which was NOT double bagged as requested. To add insult to injury one of the burgers was put into the container upside down and spilt everywhere when opened. Won't rush back

    Won't ever set foot in here again, the manager was argumentative and obnoxious. The food by the time we got it was like warm at best and hash browns dripping with grease. Considering there was 6 people eating, we was only given 2 napkins. Thanks, macdonalds, for screwing up the start of my day

    Ordered food - friendly and efficient. Received food - friendly but omitted one meal. Rang from car park (because massive queue and couldn't leave kids in car to go in to fix). Spotted staff member in car park and asked her to fix omission. Very poor attitude indeed. When she did eventually come back out with the missing food she took the trouble to approach the kids side of the car and drop the food through the open window without a word. Not a good experience.

    Ordered breakfast 20 mins later still waiting order number on screen to collect every member of front staff too busy with drive thru orders coffee was Luke warm by the time I had my food that too was like warm will not be going back to this one appalling

    A drive-in McDonalds at a prime location, near Barry. A spacious yet clean and tiny outlet like any other McDonalds outlet. I’ve always seen this outlet as a busy one, but the service is always quick. As there’s not many eateries in this locality, this could be the #1 choice if you’re in this part of Barry. Usual orders: Wrap of the day (Sriracha chicken, Chicken & Bacon, Mayo-Chicken, Chilly Chicken etc), Hot drinks & Smoothies. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ customer service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ambience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ value for money Verdict: A regular visitor, and never disappointed.

    We got there and it was heaving. My youngest has celebral palsy and autism. They had seats at the side in a quieter area (with no sunlight from windows which is another factor for him)normally which used to be for disabled but now for deliveries. No one was there and there is was no where to sit and since my youngest does use a wheelchair we sat down. We got asked to move and I explained he has a wheelchair in the car but got told is was against the rules. The new priority seating is next to the tills the loudest and busiest section. A kind family offered to move as they heard. They got our order wrong four times it left us all in a bad mood when we were happy before arriving and distressed my little boy. Maybe you should switch it back to disabled seating as this area is more suitable. This put me in an embarrassing situation where I had to explain my youngest difficulties in front a whole restaurant. The manager did say they would educate their staff but damage already done. Paid to have an easy meal and it was so stressful and my boy was so wound up .

    Disappointed. Terrible food . I have ordered McSpicy chicken totally dry and the salad mushy , the fries were dry and old and they gave me the wrong drink .

    Absolute shambles . Part of order missing . Not separated into 2 bags . Chips only half full, food cold ..... Just spoke to manager...he was very apologetic and has credited me for the full ammount , fairplay to him , I just don't think any Mcdonalds of this size could manage , orders for sitting in , drive thru , and delivery, even the car park was chaotic ....the kitchen is just too small

    Just had food from this restaurant via the drive through and again I get home and the food and coffee is cold it’s a disgrace that food is being handed over cold, they take soooooo long it does not surprise me, I have seen them pour coffee at random and left to get cold I have asked on numerous occasions to have a fresh one. Poor management

    Absolutely shocking service, rude staff that make comments and laugh thinking you can't hear them, managers that don't apologise and then get staff that work under to lie on the phone and pretend to be in charge. No one will tell you who the boss is or what the complaint process is (probably because if they did we could actually log complaints) they d have mountains of them I ve no doubt. Funny enough they don't make it easy to find out these details on websites neither. I d recommend using the Cardiff Bay over this each and every time it's probably quicker to drive the miles than to be sat in car park whilst they serve 10 other drive thru customer which were behind you and do all the deliveries and so on. Best part of this whole experience is that 3 people are going hungry for the day as there was no time left to get food from a decent outlet.

    Rude staff on drive though. Never can get frabbe when ordering. Food cold, need another McDonald's in Barry as this one must be the worest in wales. As the one at cuvlherhouse Cross so much better. The customer service is so poor at this McDonald's at Barry, i would void this one and drive to the one at Culver.

    Slow to take order at drive in , although there was only one car in front I was asked to park up and wait for a normal order ( bacon roll meal ) then waited nearly ten minutes for the order to arrive which was at best luke warm and missing the coffee when it did arrive. No apology for slow service, no apology for incomplete order. Well done the staff at Barry I guess I'm just another ex customer who will now spend their money at Greggs.

    I came in today just to get my order and go back to my car. I had my 5 year old in one hand and holding my 9 month old. While waiting in the queue she starting screaming.. A lady working there named Julie sat us down, offered me a high chair went and got it for me then gave it an extra clean for me. I decided to stay and sit in. They ate up their food then when little one started fussing Julie brought her and my son over a balloon. I'm not a single mum but I imagine any single mums or mums/parents coming in by them selves would appreciate extra help like this! What a lovely lady going the extra mile! :)

    Ordered via the app, asked.to.wait.in the bay, 20.minutes later.went.inside to enquire about the order which was.over £43 to.be told they had forgotten about it, 1p mins later order was luke warm- not impressed at all!

    Best McDonald's food I've had in a very long time. Everything was freshly cooked (We tried the new bbq double quarter pounder) and hot.. Not something I'm used to from around where I usually order, so was a pleasant surprise. Nearly forgot our mc flurries! A couple of disappointments mind; there was no salt on fries, no gherkins and my mc flurry was melted sadly. All in all though better than my usual McDonald's!

    If you want the opposite of what you order, about 3 fries in a large fries, mayo when you explicitly say without, then this is the place to come :)! So annoying how they get a simple order wrong EVERY TIME coz they’re too busy balancing orange juice bottles on their heads omg

    What can I say, in my opinion, this is the worst food I have had in such a long time. The chips were awful and so dry tasting, the meat in the burger again was so dry, I couldn't really say anything nice about the food. The milkshake was lovely except the fact that the straw collapsed and could not suck the milkshake through it. It has finally convinced me now that I was right about 3 or 4 years that the food is not good, and after tonight, I won't go back again for sure.

    For such a busy restaurant it's always very clean and the staff are so friendly. We only have breakfast here as we love the muffins! The coffee is fab too and a great price.

    Food was as you would expect from McDonald's and no problem there. Cardboard forks and knives just do not work. Appreciate that the law has changed and plastic not allowed but the Cardboard ones need rethinking. Seems to be some fiddling of the service stats going on as orders flagged as being ready for counter collection well before they actually were ready, and this seemed to be happening on almost all orders. The group I was in had three orders and two out of the three orders were flagged as ready about 10 minutes before they were ready.

    Middle of cold spell and they have the air conditioning on full blast, absolutely freezing 🥶. Staff offering odd few customers £2.99 meal deals but not everyone, for next visit. Food and coffee not very warm. Very disappointed with this visit.

    Food was stone cold, paid extra for a drink but didn’t receive the right one, everything looked like it was launched into the packaging. Sick of the sweaty kids in here not doing their jobs tidy. We’ve never had good experiences here continuously missing items, we will no longer give them anymore chances. Won’t even go there with the drive thru, have to wait for a century for them all to stop dribbling over each other to receive your food. The attitude on 90% of the girls in there is stinking, how I’ve never slapped any of them god knows. Anyway there was no Mclovin from me :)

    Located on the way to Barry this McDonald’s was in a good spot and wasn’t too busy when we stopped here. Service was good. 1 lady very helpful there. 1 item missing from order but quickly resolved. Parking was good and staff were working hard to keep the place tidy.

    I refuse to eat this rubbish anymore. Constantly getting orders wrong with items missing and by the time it arrives its stone cold. Their attitude stinks and they always try to blame uber. Their usual excuse is we don't have any spare drivers and you'll have to come and pick it up. (no point in ordering a delivery then) 🙄 My daughter made quite a large order last week and I bet her a tenner there would be something missing. Whilst she was on the phone to mcdonalds I was on my way to tesco to buy a meal deal whit my winnings. 😂

    I recently stopped at McDonald's for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The service was fast and efficient, and the food was delicious. The Big Mac was juicy and the fries were hot and crispy, just how I like them. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, with friendly staff. I was also impressed by the variety of options available on the menu. Overall, a great fast food experience and I will definitely be returning to McDonald's in the future.

    Chaotic, too many people not enough staff. Order was cold and we had to ask for a bag even though we odered a take out. The delivery orders seems to be given priority over other orders. Would not use again will be happy when my local McDonald 's is reopened after a renovation.

    Great managers in this branch. However do not order anything with grilled chicken. It comes in pre-cooked and mine was raw inside. Lovely management though. It's clearly a bigger issue with the manufacturers and not the branch/employees itself.

    Last time I went to this Mcd's my drink was almost flat and my chips were lukewarm. I only drove five minutes away to eat, nowere near long enough for them to go almost cold. And none of the staff seemed like they wanted to be there even the manager. Ps it was in the middle of the day.

    Every time we come here we are sent round to the waiting bays even when simple orders are made such as coffees. It’s not a drive thru if you have to wait over 10-15 minutes for a bacon roll with some ketchup on it. Pathetic service.

    As good as any McDonald's i spose. Waited 45 minutes for our food but that was down to my 15 year old daughter thinking her name would come up on the screen not an order number! Not the sharpest tool tbh.

    Been here today. When I got to the car, realised I was short one drink. Went back to get it no problem. Got home, ready to eat, only to find my burger was wrong and the included dips were missing, for each of the 4 meals I had ordered. If it was busy, I could maybe understand, but I was the ONLY ONE, waiting for a collection. Need to get a grip McDonalds. Loads of staff loitering around the place, so no excuse.
