We were very impressed with this place. We were given the wine scape weekend for my husband’s 40th birthday. The whole place is gorgeous and staff is lovely. We had the wine tasting with Jack and he was fun and knowledgeable. Food is amazing and so are the rooms and facilities. Definitely recommend and would love to come back one day.

Excellent service in a beautiful restaurant. The views and venue is just stunning. And the food really delicious and served quickly. They noticed it was for a birthday and the waitress herself requested a birthday candle dessert. And they catered really well for our toddler. Highly recommend.

Went for afternoon tea. £25 per person with unlimited tea or coffee. Top layer of the cake stand had a fondant fancy, miniature lemon meringue, chocolate eclair and Victoria sponge. Second layer lovely fruit scone, cream, jam and a Welsh cake. Third layer was finger sandwiches. Coronation chicken, cheese and pickle, egg mayonnaise and tuna mayonnaise. Separate tray with some savoury items. This was a little small and only one per person of bite size items. Lovely staff and a very pleasant environment. Unfortunately there was a downside as the toilets located in the bar area were very smelly, such a shame.

Room was beautifully appointed and hotel location first class. We were given a Wine experience as a Christmas gift which comprised of a wine tasting plus dinner, bed and breakfast. Sounded absolutely brilliant and was until we saw the prices of the restaurant food and wine. The £35 allowance for the evening meal barely covered the main course, which was certainly not worth it. I appreciate this is a 5 star hotel but compared to others we've stayed in the food did not impress.

Amazing wine experience break! We had an very nice and spacious room with a great view. The wine tasting and vineyard tour was a great addition to our stay here. Dinner and breakfast was excellent, a great menu with tasty well presented dishes. All the staff were very helpful and polite. Thoroughly recommended

Our stay was bought as a wedding gift. We had a vineyard tour and wine tasting and Jack was fantastic. Funny, knowledgeable and very caring to his crowd! We then checked into our room and it was spacious, very clean, comfortable and cool given it was 27 degrees outside. Dinner was faultless. The 3 course menu was fantastic and Scarlett the waitress was more than accommodating, chatty and informative of the menu. Absolutely brilliant. Give her a raise! Thanks so much Llanerch. Delicious wines, fantastic food and excellent service.

Had Sunday lunch here. Food and service was great. Plenty of food! Lamb and beef so incredibly soft. Location is absolutely stunning. Took the woodland walk and watched the trout in the lake before lunch. Highly recommended

This is one of our favourite spots, mainly because we spent the afternoon and night of our wedding there and it holds many fond and happy memories for us. The staff are always kind, polite and friendly. We’ve done the Wine Tasting Tour which was informative and a good way to spend an hour or so. Food is second to none, great quality and decent portions. The rooms are fantastic. Large, well maintained and modern! Would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a romantic getaway, this is most certainly one of the top places in South Wales to do that.

We chose this hotel for our first trip away with our two week old newborn baby and our dog in the dog friendly room. Nervous at first with a dog and baby, but staff amazing and so welcoming we felt so relaxed. The bar area (dog friendly) was warm & welcoming, and we booked a meal in the restaurant for the evening. There was dog friendly tables available in the restaurant, however we decided to just take our baby & pram. Staff were amazing, a young hospitality team however you could tell the hotel & the staff themselves really pride themselves on the service as they were brilliant. Three courses for £45 which was worth it with the quality of food we ate. Breakfast in the morning was amazing, and with an outdoor terrace next to the dog friendly area, just felt so relaxed. The hotel has an easy access woodland path which was great to go for a 20 minute walk in the morning with pram & dog. Overall would highly recommend this hotel for a lovely escape and will definitely return.

Had lunch for 5 people. It’s a lovely place and good access for disabled. Restaurant is bright and airy with great view of vineyard. Table offered good and comfortable space. Had set lunch menu £30.00 for starter and main. Food and portions were good. Mixed mushrooms on toast were great but came with surprising but lovely poached egg! Service was efficient and polite. Some may feel a bit on the cold side. There is an optional 10% service charge on the bill but the “Optional” is not that clear. Only made clear to me when I asked if there was a service charge. It was even charged on drinks from the bar. Overall a very nice experience.

Beautiful location, the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The king size beds and pillows were lovely and clean. My only criticism would be the fact there was no English breakfast tea bags in the room, despite quite the variety of tea and coffee in the lovely little display above the mini fridge. A lovely stay in beautiful surroundings outside and inside.

Had Sunday lunch off the three course special lunch. Food was very nice with service to match. Unfortunately the table, seat and surrounding flooring area were not very clean, with mop pieces jammed under the chairs. Plus very long hairs on the seats opposite us. Food was up to the standard set by the hotel, the cleanliness was not.

Absolutely wonderful venue. The wine tasting and tour was fabulous and Jack was very engaging and knowledgeable. The hotel room was stunning. Very clean Beautifully laid out and with a wonderful view. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a suite which just added to our amazing experience. The food was top notch. Everything tasted amazing and I cannot fault the staff.

Llanerch Vineyard is absolutely stunning, the rooms were modern and spotlessly clean and the decor was gorgeous throughout the whole hotel. We attending for a wedding and the staff were brilliant. The service was great for both food and drinks. The only thing it lacks is a spa which for the price point you would expect. I would also like to see some more vegan options for breakfast. Overall though, it was a great stay and I would come back again.

Have eaten many times at llanerch which have always been great; but today was my first Sunday lunch. Wow, the best lamb lunch I have had since I can remember. Staff are polite efficient and friendly. Highly recommend. Whole family from grandparents to our youbg girl loved the food. 😋😋😋

I went for lunch with work colleagues, he knows the owner I think. The food is nice portions and tastes amazing.... about 30 to 40 for a two course lunch. In lovely surroundings nothing seems off limits for walking around. Restaurant is nicely presented with great views of the vine's. It's dog friendly inside and outside.

Had a meal with friends in the restaurant. Fine view from the dining room across the vineyard. Excellent service both at the bar and in the dining room. Food was good although not outstanding.

Always the best place to visit in Wales. Great ambiance, good food and good services from the crew.🤗😍 For dining, you need to have a reservation as sometimes they are full packed. Drinking 🍺 outside is fantastic with the view of vineyard🍇♥️💚.

The hotel is well situated for The Vale complex. Rooms are large, comfortable and very clean, ours had a good view across fields to the M4 and Valley line railway. The hotel is nicely decorated, but more business clinical than luxurious. The service we received during our stay was good but not exceptional, many of tge staff are young, and obviously inexperienced and it was apparent that they weren't particularly well trained, for example, they were unable to answer basic queries about the menu etc. This hotel charges a premium price for the rooms, everything else, including breakfast is charged extra. So, with no other amenities, such as a pool or gym, whilst it's a perfectly nice hotel, the price doesn't reflect good value for money.

We booked the Wine Escape Experience and absolutely loved it and had a fun time! Upon arrival we had a complimentary upgrade to a suite and the room and view were beautiful. The wine tasting and walk through the vineyard was lovely and would recommend to a friend. The food in the evening and wine were lovely also and will be booking to come back!

The restaurant is superb, with friendly well trained staff, delightfully tasty food and located overlooking the vines. The wine tasting tour is fairly good for the price. Our guy Jack was a bit low key and cocky, but friendly enough and extremely knowledgeable. Was a bit put off by his hands with flaking skin as he poured my wine, but poor love can't help his condition. You taste two wines inside and Jack gives you a pointless masterclass on wine, when all you want to do is find out what their wines are and taste them. The third glass of wine we drank at the bottom of the field of vines. Need some shade in this area and maybe a couple of seats, but it was enjoyable. Disappointed that we didn't get to see how the wine was made, even if it was via video or photos, or even explained the half a dozen different types of wine they make from the grapes. A list of wines and their prices would be good too. You get to take home a glass and they give you a nice box, but it would have been nice if the glass had a logo on it instead of giving us a box. However, it was a nice gesture. The wine tasting was good value for the money at £20. We had a delightful afternoon in the restaurant and wine tasting, especially as it is in a stunning setting. Well worth a visit.

Cant comment on the rooms as we did'nt stay over but if they are like the rest of the establishment I'm sure they will be comfortable. I was pleased they have 2 dog friendly rooms available and do allow dogs in a designated eating area. Nice terrace outside with views across the vineyard and tours are available to book. Service was excellent as was the lunch we had, so we would recommend a visit.

Really delightful venue with beautiful grounds and a really nice layout. Have to say however that for one of the most expensive meals I've ever had it was slightly above average. The service was particularly poor and I was left wishing I'd stayed at home and got a takeaway and saved myself £380 (for 6 people). The toilets had a rather unpleasant odour too, something mentioned in several other reviews. Overall a rather lack lustre offering for a 5 Star hotel.

Went for my birthday recently! We purchased the wine escape package which was a room for the night, wine tasting/tour, dinner and breakfast the following morning (we also added afternoon tea for when we arrived). I highly recommend afternoon tea, every bite was a treat! Also all the food prepared at Llanerch was delicious, as for the wine tour and tasting that was superb (being predominantly red wine drinkers, we were pleasantly surprised at the selection of white wines that Llanerch has to offer). We will definitely visit again and would recommend it to friends and family!

Truly enjoyed our stay here. The family room is great. We has our dinner and breakfast at the hotel and the food is amazing. And what can we say about the view. We had a wine tasting session and learned a lot about wines and how to taste a wine. A truly eye opening experience. We enjoyed our stay greatly.

Had a wonderful afternoon tea celebrating with friends. Prompt and attentive service. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Lots of choice on the tea. Classics and new choices of sandwiches and cakes. Offer little boxes to take home any leftover cakes. Would recommend and come again for sure.

Booked a birthday lunch with friends. Service very poor and slow from the outset. Cocktail was bitter and undrinkable so asked for some lemonade. This was done but usually you'd be asked if you'd like something else. Food was tasty except for the very overcooked and scrappy looking chips looked like the bottom of the pile!! Had to ask twice for more water and we were only asked after lunch if we wanted another drink. Considering it was my birthday I did not feel special, staff were very matter of fact not happy or smiling. I also asked to have mains and dessert instead of a starter but this was refused. Most places happily allow this. I feel it's very money orientated for this reason. We would have had a few more drinks and left a tip but the service did not warrant this. Cleanliness not 100% either dirty spoon and men's toilets smelt like a urinal. Not nice at all in a restaurant. All in all I was disappointed that my Birthday was not acknowledged as a nearby table had a cake with a candle. I would not book here again as too pricey for what we experienced.

What a find! We booked here as we were passing through to head home from a lovely break in Wales and what a wonderful last impression you left with us. Everyone so friendly, dog friendly in the restaurant which was awesome. The food was exceptional and incredible value for money. We'll definitely be back whenever we are next back through.

Had a wonderful Sunday lunch in the restaurant with excellent service and food. The side vegetables were really surprisingly lovely. Not the usual expectation of bland, soggy veg. It was very tasty and the whole meal was very very nice. Definitely will come back again. The service was excellent and enjoyed ourselves and the view.

👍👍 Had a great time at my friends wedding yesterday, absolutely stunning and picturesque venue, staff were very attentive, food was of a brilliant quality too. The Vale Resort where we were staying ran frequent buses to take us too and from the venue too. Would highly recommend for a wedding venue.

👍👍 We took the wine tasting/vineyard tour followed by lunch at the restaurant . There was a good range of dishes and they all have a recommended wine pairing. Really recommend the mango/coconut meringue dessert with a glass of Llanerch's Cariad Hâf (as long as you like things sweet!)
