Have been to Jamuna for probably the last 16 years for our Christmas meal out in Birchgrove. Curries have usually been good and staff are friendly. This year's curry was great and quite a bit different from the standard curry. Really tasty and good sized portions. Looking forward to next year's curry!

Ordered a few times from here and the food is always great. Sometimes the korma sauce is a little too thick for my liking, but that’s just my personal preference so I still rate it 5 stars. Food always arrives fast, hot and really tasty :)

Our order arrived an hour ago. It is possibly one of the worst takeaways we've ever had the pleasure of. £50 bill to add to our misery. I never rate anywhere normally but I'm cross at how tasteless it was, except for the ton of salt it had. We ordered A Lamb Madras, A chicken Curry, A Chicken Tikka, Rice Chips and Nann. Expensive and awful.

By far the best takeaway curry in Cardiff. Only ever order from here.

Unfortunate problem with our order - incorrect item delivered which I couldn't eat due to an allergy. Used deliveroo so I had to go through them for a refund and only the incorrect dish refunded (no offer of refund for delivery/fees or for any of the other dishes). I was too nervous to eat any of the other dishes due to their mistake in case they contained the allergen. Given the error and circumstances I felt it would have been good customer service to refund the whole order as I couldn't eat any of it.

Always order from here and food is generally excellent. Last couple of meals that we've had everything has been as good as ever except for the Naan breads which have been pretty tough and don't taste like they have been freshly made. Unfortunately if you are having curry without rice then the poor Naan breads can spoil the whole meal.

Yesterday I came to Cardiff on holiday. And I ordered food from Mowgli's. I ordered garlic naan, pilaw rice, beef satkora, chicken tikka vuna, and lamb hyderabad special. It was the best Indian food I have ever had in the last 5 years. Thank you, chef 👨‍🍳

Ordered food we where told it would be 70 minutes turned up in 60 great. Then the food was the best take away I’ve had in a very long time . Excellent meal one happy customer 👍🏼

Our go to for Indian takeaway. Never had an issue with either a Mowgli's takeout or dine in. The food is consistently piping hot and always tastes great.

Had a delivery last night,ordered chicken Mohani and chicken kalipouri for main.Onion bahgi and poppadoms x2 rice's (£32.50). Firstly the bahgi looked great, nice size and crispy on the outer,then you cut it open and the inner was awful!!Big uncooked lumps of onion in a curry type uncooked paste .The mint sauces were like sour cream dip without any hint of mint!!£3.75 for a special rice?was basically boiled rice with some peas!!bargain! The Mohani was like a thick dark gravy with a hint of coconut,and the kalipouri was pasty.All the chicken was the same size sliced frozen cheap type when paying your prices should all be fresh!Was looking forward to a nice meal as heard was supposed to be really nice and in my opinion having ate curries for years was disappointed to say the least.

Really good food, the same as you get in the Whitchurch restaurant. Easy to order online and the staff were friendly when I went to collect

We have eaten in your restaurants on many occasions and always enjoy your food. We had guests over last night decided to use your takeaway and delivery service. I ordered at about 4:30 and requested a delivery time of 7:00-7:15 hoping to eat as soon as the meal arrived. When we had not received our order at 7:35, I telephoned and was assured that the delivery was on its way – we live at 40 Waun y Groes Ave, only 1 mile from your Birchgrove premises (5mins drive) At 7:55 we still had not had our delivery so I phoned again, but, as I got through, another call came through from your driver saying that he was outside our house. I was standing at the front window at the time and told him that he wasn’t as I would be able to see him. After some discussion it transpired that he was in front of 40 Heol Cae Rhys, which runs into Waun y Groes Ave where we live. He then drove on down and gave me our food. He proudly told me that this was his patch and that he was an ex-taxi-driver and knew the area well. He also said that he had used his TomTom, but the postcode for where he was waiting is nothing like ours so I don’t know what address he had used. When we got the meal inside it was cold and we had to reheat it in the oven and microwave to get it to a decent temperature. The food was delicious, as ever, but we were over an hour later to what we intended before we were able to eat. I emailed the takeaway, suggesting a small compensation might be in order, but have had no reply.

Mowglis have a number of restaurants across the city, it is great because the food quality is the same across all of them. Very good for specific dietary requirements

Usually order from Mowgli's as food quality is good. Last order was a bit of a disaster. Order delivered with one main dish missing, phoned and the restaurant explained they would send it to be with us in 15 mins. Kept rest of order in oven to wait. The missing dish arrived as promised but when we open the container labelled "Lamb pasanda" actually contained chicken. Phoned the restaurant a second time and the man answering simply laughed and did nothing about it. Very disappointing, really need to quality check their orders before sending them.

Excellent food - meat was tender and very good quality. Cooked with real tomatoes . Delicious meal. Fast and very friendly service. Nice clean and modern premisses. My first visit - won’t be the last!

We ordered a take away last night and as usual, the food was fantastic. Big thank you to the team for pulling the order together really quickly in a 10 minute window so we didn’t miss our bus - could not have been more helpful! Highly recommend this take away, always satisfies.
