Friendly and brilliant staff. Food is outstanding. I travel from Ponty to get the family takeaway, guess I am a creature of habit but when staff and food are that good why change. Definitely recommend

One of the best meals I've had in Cardiff. Great atmosphere and food was amazing. Price's good, best to book table mind, as by 8pm people were queueing to get table's.

Always good food from The Bay Leaf. The staff are very friendly.

The food is excellent but for some reason, the staff insist on cleaning whilst you're still eating. This has now happened three times. The first time was lunchtime when they decided to clean the wall lights. Then, on two occasions (an hour before closing), they were sweeping and mopping the floor whilst still eating. There was also no choice to have deserts or coffee as the bill was presented without requesting it.

Janga Puri for starters, King Prawn dhansak for main and all was delicious. On previous visit to Llandaff this place was fully booked and I can see why. I had 3 meals over the weekend in Cardiff and they all took the plate away before I'd finished chewing the final mouthfull, speedy but odd.

I go here all the time, it's definitely one of my favourites. The servers are all friendly and helpful, and I enjoy the food, I love trying the different dishes.

Wow! 1st visit to this fab restaurant & not the last. All the staff friendly. Atmosphere so calming. Not rushed in any way. Best Indian food I've ever tasted from a restaurant. Prices very reasonable too. Definitely coming back.

Best restaurant in Cardiff by far. Food and Service in this place is top. You can tell why this restaurant is so busy. Lots of variety of special currys and top atmosphere at the place even on Tuesday.

One of the best restaurants in Cardiff. I ordered the chicken shashlik and it really was the best I've ever had. And I've had a few! Good value too, around 25 per head with drinks. I cannot fault this superb restaurant.

Had a takeaway, which was cold to start. The Captain Palitha curry sauce was very watery and tasteless ( think they forgot to put any spices in it). Will not be using that place for a takeaway again. It did use to be one of the best Indians around, don’t know what’s happened to it now.

Food clearly contains the highest quality of fresh ingredients which can be tasted in everything they The food is always fresh and hot, presentation is exceptional and they always plan ahead to keep the food hot. Service is amazing too. Restaurant is very clean which is exceptionally rare today. Thank you to the staff who have been serving me and my guests for many years! Always my go to place as Mr Khan and his team never fail to impress. Wishing you many more successful years ahead!

Great food good service...Will go again..

I visited this restaurant last night for my first ever Indian restaurant experience and my birthday. The food was excellent with lots of options, we where given popadoms right away before even ordering and free chocolates included with the bill. They had Bollywood music playing in the background which was a very nice touch and the decorations lovely. Will definitely be returning

Simply the BEST! Have visited a few time and both time have been excellent. The staff are so attentive, friendly and the food is simply divine ( my personal favourite is the dhal )
