I had such high hopes from other reviews but it was such a huge let down. My order arrived an hour and half after ordering and when it arrived it was cold!!! The chili garlic chicken literally tasted of just chili powder and a hint of garlic. Majority of the food bland and flavourless... If I realised the food was such a let down I would never have ordered from here. Most certainly wasn't worth the £30 I paid for it. I will never EVER order from this place again. If I could rate lower than the 1star I would have!

Great food, reasonable prices and great staff. Food arrived hot and was fresh. I just wish they added popadoms and chutney with the meal but we still really enjoyed it.

We ordered online from the vegan menu & picked our order up. Food was hot, good quality & delicious, especially the veg korma & veg malai kofta. Not huge portions but what we ordered was plenty between 2 people, we preferred this as we normally have loads of left overs. Very good value. Would recommend!

Arrived quick but one container spilt Prawn Jalfriezi only 7 prawns Called to complain about spillage and lack of prawn Treated like a inconvenience No help no response just put phone down

If I could rate this 0 star then I would. Absolutely horrible place, dirty, rude staff and food tastes like it had been sat there for days. Don’t waste your money there, trust me on that one. It’s not hard to be nice, yet they really made it look difficult.

ordered for the first time tonight, arrived on time and piping hot, everything was 10/10 and they made the butter chicken perfectly spicy!!! i can honestly say this is the best takeaway i’ve had in years

Shockingly poor, been eating here for many years. Today I had been given very poor quality food. Chicken in each dish was very tough and most likely not fresh, my nann was not cooked and pale in colour. Had cauliflower which was almost uncooked. Chips were frozen or not fresh. Last time I order with monsoon.

Nice meal have had food from there for Almost 40 years always consistent

Horrible food. Everything was slightly sweet which was weird. I got aloo chaat but it wasnt chaat at all just weird stir fried potatoes with vegetable. The malai kofta was inedible in a sweet cream sauce. The daal was the only decent thing, but it's very hard to mess up daal. Also, didn't include any rice or naan. Or cutlery when it was asked for in the delivery order.

When this place was called monsoon it was run by a kind hard working guy who went above and beyond for his customers. This place is an utter shambles under new ownership. My order took 90 minutes to arrive when I called they had no record of the order. Someone eventually showed. The popadoms were stale. Bhajis over cooked Chips half cooked Tikka masala was resemblance of some cheap pub curry and was packed with chopped onions which made it to overbearing. The rice was greasy and inedible. I will never order from here again absolutely disgusting. The previous owner would be horrified of what you have become !

A perfectly decent takeaway meal. As good as the Indian restaurant across the road and several quid cheaper.

Ordered on Uber eats and was told the Korma was creamy and mild which was necessary as I have a geographic tongue and I cannot do spice. When my order came the korma was spilt and unfortunately quite spicy, which was false advertising. I called the restaurant to tell them that this was misleading and they condescended, patronised and talked down to me even saying if I knew if a curry was spicy?! The saddest thing is they didnt even resolve my issue. Oh yes, they also completely missed out the peshwari naan I ordered. I now have wasted my money and been talked down too, and had to buy my dinner some place else. Extremely disappointed, do not order here.

Best tasting curry I've had in Cardiff (and I've tried most of them). Food was very hot when it arrived and the delivery time was rather low. Rice portion size was a little small and the amount of meat in the curry was also lacking a little but at least it tasted good.

I ordered 2 meals for delivery. The curry was very disappointing and had no flavour whatsoever. It tasted watered down. The chips were stale. When I called to share my disappointment, the chef was very defensive and rude, and he put the phone down on me. I called him back and asked him why he put the phone down on me. He told me that he was busy and that he will try to do better next time. Absolutely no customer service. I won’t be ordering from this restaurant again.

Said vegan on the menu - when it arrived it had an egg in it ! Owner started rudely arguing with me when I tried to point this out

Really bad meal, very small portions, phoned to explain & chap swore like mad & blamed uber driver. Then slammed phone down.
