Cafe

👍 Really wanted the Simit bread but unfortunately there was none available, as a vegan there were a few options but due to other dietary requirements I chose the Avocado, tomato and olive oil sandwich on a brioche roll. It looked like a vegan big mac lol. Coffee was amazing and staff incredible. Will... People often mention Turkish, breakfast, service, recommend, delicious, amazing, Cardiff, cafe, friendly, good,

Longa Turkish Cafe has become my go-to spot for a delightful Turkish breakfast. Definitely the best breakfast, shaksuka and coffee in Cardiff. The flavors are rich and authentic, showcasing the true essence of Turkish cuisine. The service is impeccable—friendly staff who go above and beyond to make your experience memorable. If you're a fan of great food and exceptional service, Longa is the place to be!

Had an amazing Turkish breakfast at Longa this morning. There is a great variety of dishes on the menu, with also lots of options for vegetarians. You can see, as well as taste, that they put so much love in the food, and everything was delicious. The hospitality of the staff was great, they were very friendly and fast. Overall a great experience and I will definitely be coming back!

Best cafe in Cardiff!! I live just down the road from this amazing cafe, and I love it so much... I recommend it to everyone. The service is always so friendly and welcoming, and the food is sensational: so uniquely flavoursome and beautifully presented. You will never be disappointed at this Cafe!

Had a wonderful visit to this cafe on a Friday afternoon with a friend and got the apple tea which was recommended to me by the server. She made a great suggestion and I loved it! The service itself was excellent and the server made me feel super welcome as she was so enthusiastic and positive. I would 100% come back here, and have recommended it to many of my friends since!

Delicious food that was served promptly and at a reasonable price too! Probably one of the best brunches you can have in Cardiff, and that says a lot! Given how busy it was (and regularly seems to be), I would definitely recommend booking in advance ☺️

The wonderful Longa! My to go place for the best Turkish breakfast in Cardiff! Longa has been my regular for as long as I can remember and every time I visit it ALWAYS tastes the same. Presentation is perfection! Consistency is what makes me keep going back for more. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming with so many little details to admire. The service is always efficient and friendly with minimal waiting time even during busy periods! I highly recommend Longa for their impeccable and delicious food which is always appreciated! Longa is a place that will never disappoint ❤️

Been meaning to try here for literally years, but just never got the opportunity as they always seem to be fully booked until late afternoon if you call the same morning for a table. Nice quiet restaurant with a few small tables. Very intimate setting. Was lucky last weekend and got a table. The service was excellent, and the food was beyond delicious. Turkish bread was moreish. Highly recommend the menemen and cheesy beefy scramble. Will most certainly be back if we can get a table!

Beautiful little Turkish cafe. We stayed in the premier inn Cardiff North and this was so easy to get to from there. After searching far and wide for a good Turkish spread breakfast, we were not disappointed. The spread was so varied and of a high quality. It felt like we were back in Turkey. Must try the Anatolian breakfast - highlight is the clotted cream with honey and the rose petal jam - absolutely stunning

Had an incredible brunch here. Food was delicious and excellent value for money, one of the most enjoyable brunches I've had in Cardiff, can't wait to go back. Turkish tea and Turkish coffee were excellent too.

Lovely little Turkish cafe serving classic breakfast dishes. The Sucuk is lovely. 8/10 Food is good quality and a decent representation of what you get in Turkey. 9/10 Staff are friendly and attentive. 7/10 Cosy vibe but music a little loud. 5/10 Value is a touch on the expensive side. The dishes are priced ok, but Turkish coffee for £3 is excessive.

Their rose jam was just amazing and the Turkish tea was just full of flavour. It was really busy but we were served relatively quickly after ordered. I would highly recommend!

Excellent cafe, really busy so must book. We had the breakfast and realised that it was enough for the day. Brilliant range of small dishes accompanied by cooked main and cheese. Will be back!

One of the best Turkish cafes in Cardiff. The food was excellent and tasty. If I wish for more, it would be for Turkish tea and savory Turkish pastries such as borek and gozleme. However, this does not mean that you will feel something is missing on the table but this an extra indulgence. You need to book ahead. The negative star was due to the customer service in which we had to ask couple of times for any extra food plus the waiting between each time, although they confirmed the order from the first time. Keep in mind, it was a weekend and full house. Recommended for an excellent Turkish breakfast.

Astonishingly good food. The Shakshuka was one of the nicest things I’ve eaten in a long time, and served with a mountain of perfect fluffy bread. The service was great and it’s a lovely place to eat. Will definitely be returning to try one of the sharing platters! This is properly good food!

We stumbled upon this place yesterday and I'm so glad we did. What a beautiful restaurant/cafe. So much attention to detail in the menu and presentation. The food was absolutely incredible - so tasty!!! Highly recommend the sharing board for two with the shakshuka. Staff were lovely and food was served quickly.

Amazing food, but bit pricey, how ever very decent portions , service was fast, didn't wait to long to be served or to receive food when ordered. Not much seating area and better off if option available to reserve/book in advance….

Absolutely incredible food, even when busy. The value for money couldn't be beaten, and I highly recommend the sharing platters, which are generous and delicious.

Fab place for brunch in Cardiff. Plenty of vegetarian options, the sharing platter is amazing with lots of interesting dips & condiments (Rose jam, clotted cream & honey delicious). Staff are really friendly and helpful.

Fabulous friendly cafe with great food and coffee or tea options. The breakfast and brunch menu is delicious food in very generous portions.

Nice looking café, menu looked lovely. Disappointingly never got to try the food despite booking in advance (that being said, I was 5 minutes late) I'm all for optimising seating at restaurants but offering a low coffee table for brunch seems a bit insulting for what is comfortably a £10-£15 per person affair.

DELICIOUS proper Turkish breakfast. Great service. Highlights: the menemen, the slightly spicy sundried tomato paste, the fresh cheese (fresh cream cheese type) and the honey with cream!! Thank you, highly recommend

We tried the Anatolian breakfast this morning with runny eggs menemen - what an amazing way to sample some authentic Turkish food! We really loved this style of eating, and everything was absolutely delicious and superbly presented. Very friendly staff, would love to come back next time we are in Cardiff :)

First time visit here with a couple of friends who live close by and we were extremely impressed. Food quality was amazing and just the right quantity, coffee was really good (tried both the Turkish dark roast and Americano) staff were very helpful. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who appreciates good Turkish food!

Never been here before so decided to give it a try with my wife and son. Well it’s was just superb. Very clean , lovely staff and the food was outstanding. If you want to try a breakfast with a difference I highly recommend this place. We had the scrambled eggs with potatoes and paid extra for the spicy Turkish sausage. I’ve never tried anything so tasty. You need to book and visit 👍👍👍👍👍❤️

Amazing breakfast - eggs sucuk - good customer service too, kept us topped up with Turkish bread even though the cafe was very busy 👍🏻

We always go for the Anatolian (with eggs and potato a personal favorite of mine) and it always hits the spot. I love that the platter comes with both sweet and savoury sides, it just makes for the whole experience. One of my go-to spots if I’m wanting brunch with the girls! Friendly service as well! Just remember to either book in advance or turn up early because the place is relatively small and spaces are limited.

amazing small place located on whitchurch road. Only pictures some of the amazing dishes we had. I loved my tea. The shakshuka was phenomenal. The dips with bread was just the cherry on top. For my own dish, I had the mehnem, I would recommend it immensely. Overall, a solid 9/10 for me here. I will 100% be returning
