Last
month,
a
group
of
5
of
us
went
to
Whitewater
Rafting
for
the
2
hour
stand
up
paddleboarding.
Overall,
it
was
a
wonderful
experience
and
has
drawn
me
to
love
the
sport
of
SUPing
(Stand
Up
Paddleboarding),
which
my
friends
and
I
all
agreed
became
“addictive”
after
this
session.
The
instructor
we
had
was
incredibly
friendly
and
especially
patient.
He
gave
us
the
right
amount
of
freedom
in
the
large
pool
to
the
side
of
the
building,
but
at
the
same
time
was
more
than
happy
to
help
anyone
who
was
struggling
without
judgment
or
criticism
and
made
frequent
offers
to
do
so.
The
sport
itself
was
initially
like
trying
to
get
a
pig
to
fly,
however
after
the
first
hour
it
become
a
lot
easier
and
most
of
the
session
group
was
able
to
stand
up
on
their
boards,
even
if
they
fell
off
shortly
after.
In
my
opinion,
I
definitely
recommend
this
to
anyone
who
is
confident
and
comfortable
with
and
loves
the
water
because
the
upper
end
was
relatively
deep
(a
5'3
person
stood
no
chance
of
touching
the
floor!)
but
the
whole
experience
is
something
I’m
so,
so
glad
I
did,
despite
the
nerves
felt,
and
am
definitely
going
to
continue.
For
anyone
who
is
looking
to
get
into
water
sports,
it
also
seems
a
good
stepping
stone
for
aspiring
surfers
as
it
familiarises
you
with
the
feeling
of
being
on
a
board
and
the
necessary
balance
which
I
most
definitely
lack
right
now
😆
Don’t
hesitate
to
SUP
with
Whitewater
Rafting!
