The Norwegian Church Arts Centre in Cardiff is a hidden gem for tourists and art enthusiasts. The charming church-turned-gallery offers a unique blend of Norwegian culture and contemporary art. The serene location, nestled by the bay, provides a picturesque backdrop for exhibitions and events. With its warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and a cozy café serving delicious Nordic treats, it's the perfect place to unwind and appreciate creativity. Don't miss the opportunity to explore this cultural haven and immerse yourself in its artistic wonders.

Great little cafe and art centre that hosts exhibitions and music. The Cafe is dog friendly. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We only had coffees but they were good quality.

How the mighty have fallen Once upon a time this was a venue to really shout about but todays visit to the cafe for a bite to eat was such a disappointment. The staff where like the food, slow and depressing and definitely not worth anything. If they had been busy I might of understood the service but no excuse for bad food. We ate and paid, as every business needs support but if this is the state of things to come, don’t waste your time or hard earned cash.

An interesting place celebrating the links between Wales and Norway, the place whee Roald Dahl and his sisters were christened. The cafe is really nice with a good selection of dishes, baked treats and hot and cold drinks, the terrace looks out over Cardiff Bay. The staff are nice and friendly. Toilets are clean and fresh. Well worth a visit for a coffee and a snack of you are walking round Cardiff bay.

Very pretty building to look at from the outside. They have a tiny exhibition inside and I think they put on performances in the church sometimes.

The weather is quite bad today, rainy and stormy, so we visited the cafe for a warm up, the cappuccino is lovely. We also ordered a caramel ice cream, which is a must try. Also visited the gallery. A lovely place to visit

Lovely building with a small exhibition upstairs and a cafe downstairs. The church hosts events and music gigs on a regular basis. Def worth a visit if you're in Cardiff Bay.

I stopped by here today for a cappuccino. Lovely location and views, with great cheerful service. The only thing I would say is please offer 2 sizes of cappuccino, I ended up buying a second one as the first one didn't last long! Will definitely return soon.

Dropped in for a coffee and to watch the world go by. The staff there are delightful and the coffee was lovely, hot and made to perfection. There was a good selection of cakes and other food but we just had coffee. Very reasonable prices. Well worth a visit if you're down the bay. You can park round the back of the church and it's easy access ♿ as well for people who may have difficulty getting about.

Easy parking outside with several disabled bays. Cafe and upstairs gift shop just getting on their feet after ownership of Church changeover. Cafe food and staff lovely - good coffee and tasty cakes. Very interesting craft gift shop upstairs. Well worth braving the elements to visit😀

While the church makes a lovely photo op, it’s the kind of place that I walk in and out of because there doesn’t seem to be anything going on.

Great cakes, great location, great atmosphere, would definitely recommend if you're near the Cardiff Bay area. Slightly quieter as well due to its distance from the main shopping area. (However, we did visit later in the day around 4.)

Lovely place. Disabled toilet good, It was a bit tight entrance for me in a wheelchair, but great space in the circular room off the café area. Very interesting displays. Was able to teach staff about assistance dogs and their right to enter their premises. Super coffees and cakes. Recommended.

So after you watch a lot of Vikings, you head over to Cardiff Bay to find this beautiful little church there. As soon as you get there, you find an ice cream truck nearby, kids playing, the old chatting on nearby benches and the young enjoying the sun. Perfect for times when you want to be alone among people and enjoy being at peace.
