A nice park with lots of green space and trees. There’s a nice avenue of trees to walk under and in the springtime there’s blossoms on the trees on the Penhill Road side of the park. The playground here is excellent, one of the best playgrounds in Cardiff. Also a cafe at the south of the park, Cafe Castan. All of the pathways are paved, with fairly wide paths, which is helpful for different park users sharing the space. The paths are mostly level, with one uphill section to the northwest in the park which leads out onto Cardiff Road (not excessively steep, but still uphill). Lots of benches around the park. Llandaf Fields is south of Llandaf Cathedral and its a short walk away, if you cross Western Avenue. It’s also next to Pontcanna Fields. It’s a nice walk into town through Llandaf Fields, Pontcanna Fields and then Bute Park. There’s parking in the Turnpike Head car park (that’s only a small car park and tends to be busy), there’s more parking if you turn right by Cafe Castan. If those are full, there’s another car park down Fields Park Road. There’s also a bus stop outside on Penhill Road, which serves some of the routes into town.

Very serene place. The place has a relaxing vibe to it with the expanse of green fields and the wide sky. If it's a sunny day, this is definitely a good place to go alone, with your kids, dogs. The nearby Weir is also a plus point.

Quite calm place with ample of space and easy walk and cycle path to reach Cardiff Met. Uni and Western Ave. Tesco extra. As well as there is nice little dam at the end of the park over the Taff revier and closer to the Western ave. bridge nice little sore area to spend night and have a fire place but not good when there is heavy rains.

Love Llandaff Fields its a dog walkers favourite as well as a great space for joggers. The park is a fantastic link from the northern suburbs into central Cardiff

Llandaff fields are really beautiful especially as they're in the City. There's lots of dogs being walked and lots of like-minded people. I don't use the cafe but it's there for those that want it and it looks nice. The fields are large and spacious for the dogs to run. There's also plenty of space for running and exercise, nice, mature trees and a small wooded area plus a play area for the children.

These large beautiful Green Park is one of the main reasons why I have fallen in love with Cardiff. they allow everybody to experience some freedom even in a full-on capital city. Such a beautiful Park elevates almost every activity you can do whether it is cycling through it and making sure you take a diversion just so that you can cycle through the park run the streets play football go for a run or anything else you can imagine. It is a particularly wonderful park for picnics in summer.

Cafe at edge of vast stretch of parkland with children's play area and many football and cricket pitches. Used by community groups and general public. Bike hire possible. Paths used by running groups. Plenty of space to picnic but no obvious public toilets apart from cafe at Cathedral Road end of park. Free parking for three hours) signposted.

Very spacious, lots of benches and shade, there was a park for children and a cafe that served ice cream. There was a football field and it seemed great for dogs as there were many dog walkers. Would definitely go again and I recommend for anyone.

Nice place for a stroll and great cafe right by the car park for a coffee after 😃. Not many places to park on the road nearby but the pay and display car park on the fields is very reasonable. Some nice shops just down the road as well for a browse. Would recommend.

If the weather is with you it is a great place to go for a scroll or take your children for some exercise, there is a excellent cafe there on the corner of the playing field ( on the penhill side) good parking which is not to expensive. Enjoyed the few hours at the field.

Lovely park. Good size. Sorry. This is a picture of the car park and not the park.

I've been going to Llandaff Fields for nigh on 50 years. Played lots of tennis back in the day, practised golf, walked the dogs, skateboarded, played rugby, football and cricket, sunbathed, cycled through, commuted through and taken the kids to the park. A fantastic public park in the city of Cardiff. Long may it remain :)

One of my children's favourite parks to visit they have so much to play on the slides are fantastic I've been down them myself 😂 they have lots of different climbing frames big and little slides different choices of swings it's quite a busy park but that's understandable as it is a great park they have loads of field all around to play ball etc and have picnics there's quite a few parking spaces to choose from and on a Saturday parking is free , they have toilets to next to the cafe , the cafe is fabulous they sell all different coffees and teas , children's meals which are reasonably priced they do pizza which looks delicious they also sell ice cream and many more things I highly recommend 👌

Cardiff is one of those capital cities small enough to be a town and yet functions and has the vibe of a big city. Llandaff is beautiful and attracts a mixed crowd including families. It has good spots for a romantic stroll. On Google Maps, just tap the compass to see these, filter by attractions and distance, it'd bring attractions near you and just explore.

Lovely area. Had a beautiful hot chocolate at Porro in Llandaff. Took the grandchildren to the cafe in the park. They enjoyed the burgers. I enjoyed a smoked salmon salad. Great area.
