Its
a
short
walk
to
the
top,
maybe
a
mile
or
less
with
a
steep
start
but
very
rewarding.
We
parked
down
at
doleberrow,
the
"car
park"
at
the
end
of
the
road
is
tiny,
enough
space
for
maybe
5
cars,
so
just
park
on
the
a38
in
Churchill
if
there's
no
room.
Expect
to
have
difficulty
turning
if
the
carpark
is
full
(we
did
a
17
point
turn).
There
are
two
ways
up,
some
very
steep
steps
from
the
car
park
or
a
stone
path
nearer
the
main
road.
Its
clear
to
see
its
a
hill
fort,
the
shape
is
well
preserved.
As
you
near
the
highest
point
it
becomes
apparent
that
your
efforts
are
well
worth
it.
The
views
are
really
spectacular.
You
can
see
the
mendips
to
the
south,
crooke
peak,
brean
down,
steep
holm,
weston
super
mare
hill,
Clevedon,
portis
head,
all
the
way
round
to
the
airport.
The
whole
Severn
estery
is
there
to
see.
We
have
found
crooke
peak
to
be
a
good
walk
with
good
views
but
somehow
this
place
has
a
far
more
breathe
taking
panoramic
view.
Enjoy!
