Nice little cafe overlooking the castle. Very nice staff. Seems to serve only snacks and drinks but still a pleasant environment.

A pleasant cafe cum visitor centre with views of the castle which is just across the road. Decent coffee and snacks at a reasonable price. Toilets downstairs are a shared public facility.

The little cheese festival is a good time for all the family, plenty of stalls and live music over the weekend.

Nice cafe just over the road from the castle, good friendly service. Go here 1st before a chain coffee shop😀👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. Then make sure you visit the castle, absolute splender, with all the trimmings of complete battlements , seige weapons, views, great Halls, and very helpful staff who have fantastic knowledge of the history of Caerphilly castle. It makes a great day out for any family.

Now mainly a cafe opposite the iconic monument that is Caerphilly castle. Has tourism information for the local area including places to stay.

Beautiful castle ruins and certainly worth a visit. What i found the mkst impressive is that there weren't many areas you couldn't explore, so it was great to be let loose to find all the nooks and crannies of the castle, and there are loads of little hidden places to find. Great price and certainly can take up an hour or two of your time very easily. The staff as always were very friendly too.

We were so looking forward to walking around the castle, but all we came across were dog droppings - on the path & all over the grass. It looked as if no one had picked up after their dogs in a very long while. Not very tourist-friendly at all.

Lovely friendly staff. Location is great, and is always very clean. It has an outside seating area, which was great as it was full inside when we visited last. Food always very good with a great selection on the menu. But can be a long wait for food to be served. Had to give up and leave after waiting 25 minutes for a coffee and Welsh cake once.

Nice place in the centre of town with great views over the castle. Outside seating area socially distanced with umbrellas for protection. Nice coffee and can recommend the hot scones with jam. Friendly staff with good knowledge of the area. Dog friendly.

This is primarily a cafe. Easy parking. Very friendly service. Simple cafe menu but everything "home made" - lovely coffee, and super scones served warm🙂 And excellent views of the castle thrown in! We'll be back!

👍👍 I found this hidden gem of a place nestled in a side street opposite Caerphilly Castle. There is a skate park, playground, tennis courts and loads of green areas for the kids to play. Ample car parking is includes in the amenities and there was also a visit from a ice-cream van!

👍👍 Great place for a walk with a few, not too challenging routes around the hill. The mountain overlooks Caerphilly; from its top you can see the Caerphilly Castle as well as a better part of the town. When the sky is clear you can also see Cardiff Bay from here, as well as hills around Newport.
