Really good beach for Dog walking and great dunes for kids to play on, just be careful when going closer to the sea because it can become quite muddy and you can sink in the sand nearer the sea. I’d advise not to go in sea at most times cuz you can drown and sink more easily since it’s quite a muddy beach when you go out towards the sea.

Really nice and easily accessible beach with parking on the beach. There are lots of dog walkers but also plenty of families etc. It's not really the kind of beach where you can go for a swim as for most of the day the water is really far out and there is dangerous mud, but great place just to relax a bit. And there are the remains of an old shipwreck which are interesting to look at. You can also take a walk through the dunes which are very interesting and a habitat to many birds. Cuckoos can apparently be found here but we didn't see any. Saw some.green finches. Long trousers are recommended for the circular walk as there are quite a lot of nettles and bramble.

The fest that your park on the beach is great. You park and claim your space. Great sand dunes for the kids to climb up and jump off. Don't expect to get a lot of time in the sea. The tide hours out really far and then there's sinking sand/mud which prevents you getting to it. The beach is patrolled to stop you venturing out that far. There's a lot of space to cycle, horse ride and pay games. On hot days there's usually an ice cream truck that drives up and down which I found amusing to hail it like a bus :) There are public toilets available near a cafe which are clean.

Lovely for a stroll etc..but watch the tides and be wary where you walk take note of beach signage, other than that brilliant place for carrying out hobbies ie...metal detecting, drone flying, dog walking and photography.

Walking away from the car park we were greeted with a huge, quiet, space of sandy beach to roam around on, even on a bank holiday. The tide was nearly in, but we still had acres of room to be socially distanced. Lots of bins on the front. Whilst they were all full, the council were on hand to tidy them up

The walk from car park is disappointing, people allowed there dogs to do their business and left it across path, path needs cleaning up. Beach wise was lovely, peaceful, kids loved having open space to play, obviously not like a swimming beach, perfect for dogs. Just be careful when tide is out leave little bits water but it's got sinking mud, go careful when bring dogs and even children.

Absolutely brilliant beach, that goes on forever. We took the dogs there whilst staying on holidays nearby, and they loved it. The dunes are great fun and then this never ending beach was fantastic. Great free fun for everyone!!

The beach is great for dog walking and chilling out . There is also an ice cream van which drives up and down throughout the day. It's Β£6 to park your car for the day but there's no option to pay for a shorter stay . The toilets leading down to the beach are discusting and don't look like they've been cleaned in a very long time . They are also very dark and some of the lights don't work at all , meaning once you close the door you're unable to see anything !

Gorgeous place for sunset, there was a fair bit of rubbish on the beach though which was disappointing. I imagine it to be uncomfortably busy during the day due to the many neighbouring caravan parks but that’s just uk culture! What can you do.

Huge open and clean beach! Parking free in the winter with nobody around so practically to yourself, parking is right on the sand, quite the novelty, I haven’t driven on a beach for a long while , amazing ship wreck, Brean fort just a few miles up, close to Weston etc. Awesome for dogs, imagine this would be good for running too.

Lovely quiet beach. Love that there's the option to park on the beach for people with dogs or big families, or for wheelchair access. Couldn't fault it really, much nicer than being on a busy tourist filled beach with no reachable sea to swim in!

Lovely beach, good number of bins but people still choose to drop litter/ poo bags. I love the shipwreck and the "dog side" is usually very quiet

Great to visit with the family, and you can drive on the beach. They only charge Β£3. The lovely open space is excellent for kite flying

Beautiful spacious beach, although swimming is not recommended. Water quality is poor and inaccessible at low tide due to mud flats.

Lovely beach for a dog-walk, but currently only 4* because the recent storms have washed up so much plastic (an appalling reflection on society!)

Lovely stretch of beach with dunes. You can park right on the beach. Parking is free in the winter months. It's dog friendly, in fact dogs are allowed all year round, and also on Brean beach. Wheelchairs and buggies can go over the impacted sand where cars have driven. It can get a bit muddy, and irresponsible people sometimes leave dog mess and litter.

Lovely dog friendly beach, quieter than neighbouring Burnham on sea and Brean. Beware of dangerous mud flats when the tide is out!!

Plenty of parking and great if you have a dog as they get out the vehicle straight onto the beach. Well worth a visit.

8 miles of sandy beach. Coming in from the road we walked through a large dune field that was a few 100 meters deep before breaking out on to a fine sandy beach that was as deep again. Drift wood can be found in abundance for an evening fire ( careful please ). Ideal dog walking area. With a little searching free parking can be found.

Great beach with easy drive on access. The only negative is going in the sea is only allowed during high tide which is early morning or late afternoon due to mudflats at low tide.

Great beach, drive on with car, if you want to go in the sea check tides times as when the sea is out you cannot go in due to mud and the life guards sgip you.
