Visited a couple of weeks ago. Some machines not working properly as a few of their customers violently hit the machines in temper. When complained about this was told, dont worry they are fixed every week. When pointed out that this rough treatment was in fact quite disturbing to those sitting near to the culprit, was advised that nothing could be done about it as 'Mac' the owner allowed it to go on as he's only interested in the money those players are losing. Asked the owner to contact me by phone in order to express my displeasure, and still awaiting the phone call. One assistant initially refused to pass on my request as he thought that my complaint was something about nothing. Conclusion, if you enjoy sitting next to people hammering slot machines this is the place to go, if you do not enjoy that experience, there are other casinos in Cardiff which do not allow or encourage this errant behaviour.

What a nice casino with very friendly staff. Free hot and cold drinks were brought to our table regularly. The dealers were chatty and did a great job. I'll definitely be back.

Literally the best Casino I've visited, I don't usually make it a thing to go into such an establishment, but for my first time and first time in UK, i truly enjoyed myself

Great Casino with great staff. If you are a poker player make sure you call up before to check what games are running. We saw in the website there was a £30 tournament but when we got there it was only cash games. The casino itself was a good size and wasn't too busy so you could always get a seat or get involved in the action.

Attended Monday evening at about 7..30pm and was surprised to see how busy it was.Hadnt been there for 14 months.played roulette no luck.Staff polite enjoyable evening

Good casino, watch the boxing or footy whilst having free meals and soft drinks. I've lost alot of money here. Some people tell me it's a fix and house always wins.

If you like the perfect combination of east and west where you have slot machines on one side and mahjong tables on the other, wedged in the middle were rows of blackjack which is my favourite game then this is your place. Gambling is fun! STOP WHEN THE FUN STOPS

No staff at the bar, waited 15 minutes to get served. Dealers were efficient and polite.

A casino is very old and the staff there is very uneducated and rude. There is an old lady at the reception who is very abusive and in the cash register she threw money in front of me when I asked for money and I was very upset. I had a really bad experience. The employees are really abusive. I give a score of 5 to 0.

There is a nostalgic feel to this place , I was expecting a modern operation judging the outside but its very old fashioned inside Very very quiet when I visited around 7pm , several blackjack tables open though , It can be a bit of a monotonous game to play 1 v 1 so sometimes i get a bit of banter going with the dealers but the ones I was playing against were very serious. The cards were taking us around in circles so I took a break to see what else was going on but not much unfortunately One staff member assured me it does get busier I left down around 80 quid as the atmosphere just wasn't warranting further "investment" Probably would return in the future but not in a hurry

i was at Les Groupiers, Cardiff a few days ago and noticed all the slot machines had been 'reset' from the previous day, the grand and major prizes are now all at the lowest base values, every machine was showing identical prize values, (normally each individual machine has completely different values) i then played 400 spins on 4 different machines (about 100 spins on each machine) but not one feature or bonus or payouts, this clear 'manipulation' of the slots by resetting values is quite worrying and has put me off returning to Les Groupiers.

They only want your hard earned cash and their smile would disappear the moment you are no longer a milking cow for them. Some staff are also very rude in particular the old lady in reception who is exceptionally rude. I am just wondering how she is still in the job with her horrible and appallingly rude behaviour. Save your previous time and money. Avoid this place. It is not worth it. Thank me later.

Not been in the poker room for nearly 3 years . when I went to register the girl at the desk was rude and dismissive I simply didn't feel welcome , it was my friends first time in a casino and he simply didn't enter the game because of this as he was put off . This is a shame as the rest of the staff seemed great and my dealer was very efficient. Hopefully other card rooms open in the city soon
