Stayed for one night, and what a lovely experience. Staff are fabulous and the breakfast so good with quality products. My room was simple but had a great shower and comfy bed. Slept very well.

Pure excellence in every way. Location, staff , room, service, food and overall facilities. I must say I have travelled for work a great deal and I am so pleased to have found this gem of a hotel. Let me take this opportunity to thank everyone at the hotel for making my stay so comfortable

Lovely hotel, single rooms are well proportioned and the food is delicious. Very close to Cardiff but not walking distance. Hotel is old but has been refurbished, but due to age noise from disco carries. Staff can't do enough for you.

Visited the Manor Park with my Mother and two sisters for Sunday lunch and as usual the food was excellent and we experienced fantastic customer service - the staff went above and beyond to ensure my 93 year old mother was comfortable . A very pleasant dining experience in a comfortable setting - highly recommended.

Had a two night stay here while attending a Harry Styles concert at the principality stadium. Ideal location, public transport was easy to navigate into the city centre. Room was ok, lovely breakfast with a nice view onto the hotel grounds. Above all the staff were extremely polite and helpful, the lady on check in is a credit to the business. Would stay again.

We booked a celebration of life (funeral reception) and everything went very well indeed. The staff were friendly, helpful and respectful. The food was great and plentiful. The room, tables and seating perfect and there was enough room for the guests. Pricing is spot on. We didn't use it, but there is a small patio and garden area, which would be nice on a summer day. I would recommend the Manor Parc for any function.

Gorgeous hotel. The grounds are stunning. The room was a good size, the bed was really comfy, they have high standards of cleanliness, everywhere was immaculate. The breakfast was good, there's something for everyone, cereal, yogurt and toast you help yourself to, then a cooked breakfast, which was just the right size, nicely cooked and presented. The restaurant team were attentive but not intrusive. Everyone we encountered, housekeeping to reception were wonderful. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Two night stay from 7th August, really lovely welcome, great room with view of gardens (beautiful)and beyond to the city. Very comfortable bed, quality linen & towels, good shower with excellent water pressure, adequate shower/soap etc, and hospitality tray. Excellent evening menu choices, beautifully presented and really nice helpful staff, nothing too much trouble. In Cardiff again in September - will certainly book - best wishes to all who made it a great visit.

Excellent afternoon tea in the Orangery served by friendly and attentive staff in a very pretty setting. Beautifully made selection of patisseries and savouries, including vegetarian. The scones were amazing, served warm with plenty of cream and jam. Would highly recommend.

When to a funeral reception here after a funeral, we where all disgusted with the quality and quantity of the buffet. The sandwiches couldn't have been any smaller and the filling must have been put in with a match stick ,I dread think what they changed for it !!!! I would net recommend this place to anyone Very very disappointed πŸ˜–πŸ˜–πŸ˜–

Had a private room for a 100th birthday afternoon tea party. Service was excellent, very welcoming and kind. And our orders were complicated - gluten free, no spices, vegetarian etc, and they were all correct. The cakes were super. And don't believe the hotel's website about not being able to cope with allergies. They can, and did. The gluten free cakes were superb!

Stayed for business. Staff were going above and beyond. Views were spectacular, food wise it was fantastic and the venison was to die for. I would have never thought of staying here but would 1000% stay here again and would recommend anyone that is staying in the area. I absolutely loved my stay and the customers service that came with it was amazing. 10 stars for everyone, including the night porter that let me in after hours after the wales game. Thank you so much, see you again.

A beautiful Hotel on the outskirts of Cardiff with friendly staff and nice food. I was attending a wedding on the day so cannot comment on the rooms. A great location for the wedding With good parking. Recommended πŸ‘

The staff were fantastic, no questions went unanswered or unresolved, the food was fresh and hot when served and also tasted great. The atmosphere was very good and the party of 17 was not disappointed with the whole experience. Highly recommend for a family event.

I had my wedding at Manor Parc in May this year and couldnt be happier with our day. The grounds and hotel are stunning, the food was amazing but the one thing that shone above anything else was how incredible the staff were before, during and after the wedding. They were all so friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The day ran so smoothly without me or my husband having to worrying about anything. Highly highly recommend.

Service is second to non. Lovely surroundings. Rooms are clean. Chef got my steak wrong but the staff sorted it promptly and perfectly. Hotel is nice and close to the motorway for easy access. Would recommend this hotel just for the amazing service you get.

Today, I hosted my Hen party at the Manor Parc. We had afternoon tea altogether there were 33 of us. The staff were all welcoming and friendly and couldn't do enough for you. They were always coming around offering tea and coffee. All my guests really enjoyed themselves and a lot of my guests commented on how they liked how they served the afternoon tea by the sandwiches coming out first and being on individual plates then all the sweet items served later on. We also liked the fact that we were told what were being served. Highly recommend this place and thank you once again for a brilliant afternoon.

Visited for my father in law's celebration of remembrance in 'the orangery'. They could not have been more helpful or attentive to detail. Nothing was too much trouble. Our event passed so smoothly. It was so comforting to be surrounded by family and friends.

We went to a wedding here and stayed the night. Everything went off very well. The staff were friendly and helpful. We liked our room which was clean and well provided. Plenty of parking. My only complaint was that they wanted payment in advance on a non refundable basis if we had to cancel, irrespective of when and why. We would have stayed a second night if not for this.

I've been to the Manor Parc a few times for functions and it's never failed to impress me. The food and service are always to a good standard. There is a large carpark as you enter the driveway to the hotel. inside the hotel there is a small reception area as you enter the building.

Lovely place to stay close to Cardiff. Nice room, massive bathroom and great AC. That was very appreciated as the motorway is very close and with the window open we could certainly hear it. Breakfast was delicious and made fresh and a lovely view to the garden and the hills beyond. Service was excellent.

Lovely spacious room. Added bonus of having my own balcony adjacent to my friend so we could pop into each others room. Spotless. Bed very comfy and I slept like a baby. Would have liked a full length mirror with a socket point as no mirror other than bathroom. That's me being piccy otherwise I loved my stay and will be back. Staff were polite and attentive

We had my stepdaughters wedding here on 24th September, we would like to thank the management and Staff for a superb day. Excellent wedding breakfast and evening buffet. Rooms were lovely spacious and very clean, with breakfast included. Could not fault it and highly recommend the Manor Parc hotel. Thank you.

We hired a room for a Celebration of Life event. The staff were all lovely, the room was bright and the outdoor area was immaculate and an added bonus. The fresh food was delicious and well presented. A recommended venue for any event.

We were invited to a wedding being held at the delightful Manor Park. I cannot praise them enough. The staff in attendance were pleasant, friendly and helpful. The food we had was well cooked and the wine was not cheap and nasty, as we have found in similar places. The grounds surrounding Manor Park, are well kept and lovely to look at. All in all. We spent a wonder day here. I will reccomend the place to everyone. As a matter of fact. I have done. Thank you Manor Park for a most enjoyable day.

A very nice hotel. A very nice setting. Spotlessly clean. Really good treatment by the staff. A bit noisy with the M4 so close but quiet inside. A good place to stay. Close to Cardiff and Barry Island. Nice and central.

We got married at Manor Parc this June, after 2 years of waiting and postponements due to COVID-19. Manor Parc were so helpful and understanding during this time, and made rearranging our wedding easy and stress-free. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, we couldn't have asked for better. The food was amazing, the venue was beautiful, and the staff were lovely and very attentive. Thank you so much to Vicki, Mario, Stewart and the rest of the Manor Parc team for everything you've done for us. We'll definitely be back!

Attended for a work Christmas party. The location and building was nice, parking and driving in was an issue... Only a single road leading to the building so there was a lot of traffic build up and we had to jump out of the car and walk the rest of the way or we would have been late. The food was ok. I had sweet potato and garlic soup which I enjoyed, the main was satisfactory... Plenty of food, but some of the veg was undercooked, plus only 1 pig in blanket per person? The sticky toffee pudding was nice, no complaints there. It was a little awkward when they were serving food, as they came around and offered separate parts of the meal; they seemed very rushed and at one point had potatoes being thrown over one shoulder and parsnips over the other. The party itself was good. Drinks were a little expensive. Gave a 5 star for rooms because I didn't see them so would be unfair for me to comment. Overall an ok evening, could have been better but not overly mad about it. Don't think I'd arrange anything here myself though.

Delighted we chose the Manor Parc hotel as our wedding and reception venue. Stewart, Vicki and the team really excelled in making us feel special. The whole day ran like clockwork and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend!

Attended a buffet after a funeral. Lovely grounds. Spacious. A nice spread. Though the milk had curdled in the 28Β°C. The hotel needs to prepare for that !

Another successful meeting held at the Manor Parc Hotel. Very amenable staff, nothing too much trouble. We've had two meetings at the hotel, one in the summer with a BBQ and another with a sit down meal and the food was very good both times. We would highly recommend the hotel and I'm sure we'll be back in the future.

This is a well-run private hotel in a very nice setting. The staff are excellent, courteous, helpful, and attentive. The period manor is well-maintained and stands in old and manicured grounds, yet with a very modern and attractive communal outdoor space for functions. Included breakfast was very good. I did not eat at the restaurant, but friends and family tell me that it is excellent. To top all this, the room rates are very good value.

My 93 year old parents celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary at the Manor Parc and this beautiful venue made their party extra special. Mario and his team were helpful, friendly and extremely professional, anticipating our every need with kindness and care. The food was interesting and delicious, the rooms spacious and immaculately clean and comfortable. I cannot recommend the Manor Parc highly enough. It's a gem.

We cannot thank Manor Parc Hotel enough for our perfect wedding day. All the staff were beyond accommodating and we were both at ease knowing that Mario, Helen, Vikki and Stuart were there for support on our special day. Everything had been provided for, they had thought of everything. The grounds, the rooms, the food, were all beautiful. From the moment we arrived Friday afternoon the team were well prepared and ready to assist us with anything including helping us get the cake out of the car. Nobody was too much trouble including taking food up to the rooms for one of our ill guests and even saving food for another guest who had a family emergency. Everyone loved the food and Manor Parc were beyond accommodating with all our dietary requirements from gluten free options to lactose free options. We couldn't imagine our day being anywhere else.

Had my wedding at Manor Parc in 2021 after initially booking the wedding in 2020 it took 3 rearrangements to finally have our amazing wedding day. The hotel couldn't have been more helpful, after hearing other couples having awful trouble rearranging we couldn't have felt more at ease with the way the staff and the hotel handled the whole process. Throughout the planning and the wedding itself the level of customer service was unbelievable, the food that was served was impeccable and the organisation was second to none. Would recommended this place and it's wedding planners to anyone.

I had a fabulous stay on Friday night. A warm welcome was received. The room was great (no 7) shared balcony with a nice view of the garden and the city. The biggest longest bath I ever had. But the breakfast was by far the best. I had the vegetarian option, the Glamorgan veggie sausage was the best sausage I've ever had. Great hotel and great price. I'll be using it again when I visit my daughter. Β£10 for an uber into the city centre.

Went here for a celebration of life party and had informed them beforehand that I was gluten free. There was a lovely buffet laid out for everyone, a selection of 4 different sandwiches, pasties, sausage rolls, scones and Welsh cakes but I got 3 egg finger sandwiches and a small scone!!!

  • 5/5 Stuart K. 1 year ago on Google
We attended a wake, so not the happiest of occasions to visit this hotel. However, the food was excellent and the service was first class. The serving staff were very friendly and efficient which made a difficult occasion easier to 'enjoy'.
