The only non-negative, the room was clean. Negatives include the room was dated, and the shower was at best poor. The noise from nearby roads is constant, the windows are dated and do not reduce this. No cooked breakfast available. There is a pub located on the same site;however, this does not provide breakfast for the hotel.

Great travel lodge, great quiet room to we stayed here for our son's Graduation. The staff were brilliant, very helped, very friendly, would definitely recommend this travel lodge and would definitely stay here again when we are in that area. Thank you to the ladies on reception

Little difficult to find in the dark and very minimal parking. Staff absolutely lovely and really made the stay. Room was a little outdated with some damage to decorations but everything worked and there were no issues. Some noise from the A road nearby. Would stay again if I needed somewhere in the area

No frills hotel. Clean and tidy. Right next to Harvester. We had a short stay for a wedding. Location wise it's out of town about 15 mins drive in to Cardiff.

Hotel a bit tired and not really enough parking but the young man on the desk who was from another hotel and just helping out could not have been more helpful and pleasant despite it being late. We checked out at 4am and the receptionist on duty was also very pleasant and professional.

Around 5 or 6 years ago, I got on the wrong bus and got lost in Llaneydeyrn. I walked for hours trying to find my way back home, towards Newport Road. But, I found this Travelodge. And the blonde woman at the front desk, with her son, gave me the exact directions I needed to get home. I can't remember her name but I always wanted to thank her. And although I got lost again after step 2 of the printed out instructions she gave me, and ended up walking on the motorway and almost getting ran over numerous times with multiple drivers yelling at me, if it wasn't for her, I'd have been robbed or dead. Thank you. Edit: Might have been Caroline.

A travelodge that everything works in the room. The room was nice and clean. Also it’s just 15 mins drive from and to central Cardiff. It’s a nice and quiet neighbourhood. Comfy beds and affordable prices. Definitely my to-go place to stay in cardiff.

This place is affordable for anyone who wants to run a profitable business. Good place to spend the night without cracking the wallet. Encourages all of us to be the change we would to see in the world. A world were are conservative. Let's save water by reusing towels, let's switch off switches when we leave the rooms and when we go to bed. We can only have a better world when we work together saving one small bit at a time. When we add it all up. It's a big change and our world will become a better place

Staff friendly, room clean are the two positives. Rooms haven't been touched since the 90s, beds tiny, shower terrible, walls paper thin.

Wow wow wow. I just have to commend every single staff member I interacted with on this 3 day stay. They were all so lovely and welcoming and recipient to requests, our room was kept to a high standard as were the other areas of the hotel (bathroom, hallways etc) Accessibility here again is good I did see they had the accessible rooms on the ground level and the entry way are hassle free. If you are using public transport be prepared to walk for atleast ten to fifteen minutes for the bus stop otherwise cans are great and frequent.

Clean and tidy. Room was ok, tv signal was poor, lots of road noise from the closed windows. We ended up paying quite a bit for the room for some reason and if have to go again and still expensive will try somewhere else

Rooms did not have enough towels and there was no shower gel at all. Disappointed as we paid £157 for the room.

Decent for a night or 2. An old but poorly maintained building. Carpets need a thorough wash. Feet get dirty if you want on it. All else was ok.

Nice, tidy place. We had triple family room. We had 1 double bed and 2 singles. We spend there 2 nights. I'm recommending.

Great little TraveLodge with standard amenities. They provide a little fan in the room on hot days which is definitely needed. Really enjoyed our stay here and might return again some day ! Location is perfect if planning to visit Brecon Beacons national park. The town and many of the local parks are also nearby. Many superstores morrisons tesco asda are within 15 minutes reach.

Had a great experience here, Caroline was very friendly and so was Sophie. They where really helpful on our stay having left our charger behind they sent it out for us. The hotel is clean and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Caroline and Sophie and all the staff for your help.

Very helpful staff. Rooms were clean and tidy. Good location but parking can be an issue with only around 12 spaces. Harvester opposite is also good and does some very nice meals.

The staff, Ann Marie, Caroline and Lucas what an amazing team. Warm welcome, very friendly, nothing too much trouble. Happened to stay on the hottest days, a fan was in the room which was appreciated. A bottle of cold water each as we set out for the day, after being told as we were about to leave wow, you look amazing. What a nice boost. Thank you all for a pleasant stay. We would highly recommend staying with you

We arrived at night. The post code is behind a block of flats. Retracing our route we spotted the illuminated Harvester sign. The Travelodge was almost invisible behind it. During the night we heard sounds above us. But we were on the top floor. The last time I heard this type of sound, I put poison in the loft . And the noise went. And it wasn't tiny mice. The Beds. The double bed looked OK. But it sagged and was impossible for two people to sleep in. So I tried the rooms single. Bed. ROCK HARD. The following night my wife took the single. The double bed was just brilliant for one person. She didn't sleep in the single. We have used Travelodge dozens of times over the years. But this was the last time. Never again.

Really nice clean and warm room, staff were very friendly and helpful, yes there is a little Josie from the main road but it didn't disturb me. My only suggestion would be put fresh milk in the vending machine
