The hotel staff was very friendly and excellent. The room was big and clean with big windows. It was pleasant and quite yet really close to the city center. We could store our luggage before check-in and after checkout. There were possibility of ironing, warming up your food, TV in the common rooms which are mostly empty. It gives a feeling of being at home.

For one night or several nights it is fine, I recommend it, good location and good price. I was in this Hotel in 2016 for one night.

So the street is often under construction, even still in 2022 from what I was able to see again by image, interiors from what I remember is a good place for groups of passage and stages, too bad that it does not progress in modernization inside the youth hostel

I arrived on the 3rd of July for a one night stay as it was the day of my sixth form ball. The people were very friendly and understanding, systems they used were excellent as there's no chance of loosing the key really. the place itself was clean and tidy with plenty of toilets on hand, the rooms were decent sizes, basic with all working plug sockets although the beds seemed unstable and rickety they done their jobs, and comfortable and clean bedding too. definitely work the money that they charge, would recommend to anyone

So you get what you pay for but some things should be basic. There was horrible black mould and a lack of hooks in the bathroom opposite room 4. Thankfully I stayed only 1 night. I felt safe and sleep quite well. The place could do with some redecorating and upgrades. The WiFi was good, the breakfast was basic and simply, but hey, better than nothing. I would stay again for the £22 price I paid. Thanks

The building itself was nice and the staff themselves were very friendly. The bed was comfy enough, and they're was good power in the rooms. Free WiFi was good, however (and it's big however) the shower was incredibly cold. Very very cold. Kind of a deal breaker for me...

There are so many things to say about this place. I stayed in a single room and the room was too old. The walls were damaged and the ground was dirty. The bad was so uncomfortable. Even you don’t have a pain in your back before sleeping, you will have when you are waking up! The shared toilets were dirty and damaged. I think all furnitures, toilets, bathrooms and rooms should be renewed. I’m sorry but I wouldn’t recommend to no one else.

The hotel was easy to find, good parking and in the centre of town. The room was comfortable and while breakfast was simple it was nice. Just cereal and toast. It's 24 hours so no worrying about coming late. My only problem was that there were only two plugs in a room for 8. And they ask for I'd in exchange for a room key, which caused me some issues when going out into town that night.

Very lovely hostel! I felt very safe and secure inside, and it was in a quiet neighborhood that was easily accessible. My dorm was clean and I had a very comfortable stay in June 2018. The breakfast is very simple; I would always go out and get more food on my own afterwards. The bathrooms are spacious (although there was one bathroom that only had cold water in the shower) and well kept. The staff at the front did everything I needed them for. I would recommend this hostel.

I had a great time at this hostel. I was able to find a ton of stuff to do every day without being more than a 30 minute walk from it. At the hostel they have a lot of space in the lounges, a nice kitchen, and strong wifi. The bathrooms are very nice and spacious. The bedrooms have a lot of space, but I couldn’t sit up on the bottom bunk of my bed. Staff was attentive and polite. I can’t believe how great this hostel is for how little money it cost.

The people at the reception desk welcomed us very well. The explanations were clears. The room was clean as well as the showers, kitchen and dining room. For the services provided, the price is justified.

Stayed for a couple of nights, both in a single room and in a dorm. The single room was very small and sparse. Even for a weekend it was a little overpriced. The dorm room was fine but more power sockets were needed. The staff were friendly. The included breakfast was satisfactory, cereal and/or toast.

Stayed here when I first moved from Canada to Wales, was a very good experience, enough so that when my friend made the same move some months later I had her stay here also. I genuinely survived by just eating enough of the breakfast to get me through the entire day without eating again. It was just cereal and toast but it really did the trick. I stayed in 4 different rooms during my stay as sometimes when I extended I needed to change rooms. The higher floors the WiFi was no good for me, but they did let me change to a lower floor room when I asked. Most of the staff were quite friendly and able to provide me with good directions when I asked for them.

Great location close to the city centre, very friendly and helpful, welcoming staff. An affordable price including a simple breakfast. Some facilities though do need improving (inc some bathrooms and kitchen utensils).

About 10 mins from train station by walk, I recommend this if you are going solo and just stay over few nights. It's just as same other backpacking hostels, easy check-in and check-out, 10£ deposit, shared bathrooms, bunker beds (there may be other options), nice staff. Hey there is a free breakfast provided here. Cheapest hostel I could find at the time of booking in Cardiff.

Good place to stay for the night. Staff were really nice, everything was pretty clean, decent common rooms and bathrooms. You could come and go as you wanted — reception was open 24 hours. A little difficult to find in the city, but with a map app we got there. Very quiet area.

It's not expensive, and it's in a good, central location. Unfortunately, we had cash stolen from our wallets while sleeping there - not the hostel's fault, but it did tarnish the experience somewhat. Can't complain too much about the facilities, but keep your hands on your valuables if you stay here.

Easy to find, good location, 10min from city centre. Staff helpful, said they could look after my luggage before my check-in time (arrived at 10am, check-in not until 2pm). Bed comfy enough for a hostel! Quiet and not too hot (it had been a scorching day!), so slept well.
