Good to have a Portuguese café/ shop in Bristol! They have a good selection of Portuguese pastries, soups, breads, snacks and drinks but it could be improved. Happy that they do a vegan pastel de nata but disappointed that it is lemon flavour and not custard. I’ve had a great vegan Portuguese custard tart elsewhere so it’s definitely possible to recreate. It is also more expensive than normal tarts, it’s £2.40; I believe the normal tarts are £1.80 each. Besides this, there are no other vegan pastry or cake options, which is a shame. The front of the café is pleasant but the atmosphere is a bit dark and dingy toward the back. The tables and chairs are very unappealing, but the wall art is nice.

Service was great, but the food was lacking. I have never had a sausage roll that was merely a hot dog. It was disappointing. The atmosphere and the service were great though.

Lovely service and the pastries are great BUT we found there was WAY too much sugar! I would suggest toning down the sugar by 20%, we had lemon meringue pie which almost floored us with how sweet it was, and also some natas which we took away - again, lovely, but way too sweet! We don’t normally complain about things being too sweet but it really did feel like our teeth were peeling and all you can taste is sugar! Maybe we visited on a bad sugar day?!

I work in Ryman and sometimes I cover in Clifton and one of my colleagues has recommended me Nata&Co for lunch as it's just 3 doors down. All I can say is that this is a very beautiful place. Very nice atmosphere, very friendly staff and amazing service and the food is absolutely delicious. The only bad thing is that I don't live close enough so I can visit every day. I highly recommend this place if you want to go for breakfast or lunch and just chill for a minute. Is very nice, quiet and relaxing.

Being a Portuguese I was very pleased when I saw this store was going to open in Bristol since I’ve visited them in Bath and Cardiff before and enjoyed having my espresso and pastel de nata. They offer many other things definitely worth the visit.

I fell in love with this bakery when visiting Cardiff and was super happy when they opened their Bristol site. This time I ordered a Brigadeiro chocolate cake for my birthday - it was really moist and totally delicious and made me very happy! 🥰 The cake was also massive - 12 people couldn't finish it in one sitting after dinner, which means more cake left for me 😊 Definitely a good value for money! Thank you Nata & Co ❤

Very friendly genuine Portuguese cafe. The pastries Nata are delicious and the coffee is top notch. Will come again when in Bris.

We were very welcome at this place… Found our famous “coxinha”, “pão de queijo” and other options… thank you very much for the attention and for bringing some water for the dog. Unfortunately, I couldn’t try the “caldo verde” as it was not in the menu today… Another reason to come back again.

Will stand by my belief that Nata does the best coffee in Cardiff always, and they always have a brill selection of pastries and cakes on display too. However the food never tastes super fresh as it's been waiting out for a while (usually) + I've never been to Nata without having my order messed up. I suppose that is part of its charm though. 😺

We came here on rainy Saturday afternoon and it was busy, but as there is loads of sitting options we manage to seat where we wanted. The staff is very nice and friendly and welcomed us straight after entering the cafe. We had fried sweet puff pastry (bit different), very nice big pastry with custard cream and great pepperoni sausage bread to take home and 2 americanos (£9 in total). Enjoyed all of those. The seating area is bit chaotic, but the drawing on the wall makes the cafe cosier.
