The cocktails here are highly recommended! Felix and Ben were super attentive and passionate about mixology. Sit down at the bar, have a conversation, and either order off the menu or tell them what you like and let them amaze you. You won't be sorry.

Nice atmosphere and tasty cocktails! The menu is a little hard to read at first, but once you know the sections you're looking for you're all good! Happy hour section for £5 cocktails towards the back of the menu and some sharing ones Alice in Wonderland style towards the front! Loved that the staff all wore themed outfits, and all were really friendly!

We stopped in for an afternoon cocktail, well ahead of anyone else. The hosts were wonderful and the drinks were quite good. I would recommend relaxing here for a while with great cocktails and great friends. You won’t be disappointed.

Amazing bar theme. I just loved the bar back with big paints served as cabinets. The cocktail menu ir was amazing. Using the tarot as theme and drinks are split by main tarot cards. Great prices and drinks presentation. It is worthy to stop for a nice cocktail

My husband and I don't normally venture to the top of St Mary's street, but really glad we did last night otherwise we'd never have come across this fantastic cocktail bar. Service, ambiance, drinks menu and pricing all excellent. I had a Vimto Vodka cocktail that came with a lollipop and found it throughly enjoyable. Found the decor and dodgy artwork quite amusing too. We will definitely be back on the Prohibition Era is over!

Second time we've visited after a recommendation by the staff at pasture. Fantastic service by staff and a lovely atmosphere, Felix was particularly attentive on both visits and we'll most definitely be back for cocktails soon!

I always come to The Libertine whenever I'm in town and I've always had a brilliant experience. I love the atmosphere and the décor, my favourite part is the table service and the lovely range of cocktails.

Won’t find a better cocktail for the price in Cardiff! Great atmosphere, music… drinks served super quickly, waiting staff are super attentive. Recommend

Great cocktail bar with cosy decor and an interesting, reasonably priced menu. I can't give more than one star due to an extremely rude man (looked like a staff member), who sat at the bar and insulted everything I did. This was around 9pm on the evening of Tuesday 7th Feb. My partner and I had to leave after one drink before I lost my temper. We didn't get the man's name, but we won't be going back. (Unless I feel like getting arrested for GBH).

Great table service and delicious reasonably priced cocktails

Had a table booked for cocktails with friends. Staff were really helpful and friendly. The menu for the cocktails is excellent, plenty of choice. Something for everyone's taste. Bar staff are super helpful as well if you tell them what type of drinks you prefer x

A lovely atmosphere and surprisingly the cocktails were competitively priced. An interesting unique collection which are worth trying. Enjoyed it.

Me and my Fiancé went here on a whim and we adored it, every single member of staff was lovely, you Could tell they all were having a great time and were genuinely passionate about what they were doing. We sat at the bar for about 2-3 hours and loved every minute of it! I wish I’d have grabbed the bartenders names to put something more personal, but honestly everyone working on the 15th of October 22 deserves a massive shout out!! Absolutely awesome and would deffo come back! 10/10

Fantastic service, drinks, music, layout - everything about this bar screams a cheeky cocktail and a professional but intimate and friendly vibe. 100% recommended if you want some pre or post drinks for any occasion.. Or make it the occasion in itself!

Delicious cocktails, not your run of the mill... pictured Flamingo Whip and Beetlejuice which was our favourite, disorano, port and beetroot and citrus... dont knock it till you try it 😉 😋

Went here to meet friends have a few drinks before a dinner reservation next door , had two hours to kill so few cocktails would have gone down nicely. friends were running late so we ordered drinks to get started , as soon as the drinks were put infront of us one of the managers came over and told us that there was a reservation for the area we were sat in ( which we were taken to by the hostess) IN ONE HOUR so we had to leave. promptly paid there and then and left. Really poor service. Cocktail was nice enough and general staff seem lovely , Saturday night management obviously need more basic training.
