Came in on a Saturday evening at 5:15 with a table of six, the rugby was on and unsurprisingly most pubs were full. Luckily the Kings Arms has a table of 6 spare which was perfect for us. The drinks were reasonably priced and the food was brilliant, we had the Korean spicy barbecue chicken nachos and the southern fried chicken strips and they tasted lovely. Would definitely go again, even during busy periods they managed to get us a table 5⭐ from me

Nice pub pleasant staff good range of ales and decent menu. Visited on an arranged coach visit before going on to watch WBA at Cardiff City. Was made to feel welcome by the locals and recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Great cheeseburger and chips. I've eaten this on several occasions and the kind gentleman, who always takes my order knows what I'm going to have. Great staff, atmosphere and delicious food.

Staff were exceptionally attentive and the food was delicious. They have an extensive list of vegetarian and vegan options, which is a huge plus too

Friendly pub, lots of locals use it. We visited on a Thursday evening and plenty of football to watch on the different screens. Food good and staff friendly.

We travelled to the Christmas market and brought our son who is a wheelchair user who requires lots of support. Caerphilly was packed and we needed a place for a snack and to change our son. This pub had a radar key activated toilet that was pretty decent for a pub (we have a local to us who don’t even have a disabled toilet!). The atmosphere was jolly and friendly. Have never been here before but felt quite comfortable leaving our coats and bits n bobs on a free table whilst we took our son to the toilet. Wish we had a pub like this near to us 😀

Located in the heart of Caerphilly town the King's is a great pub to watch sport at, there are plenty of TV's and a big screen. The decor is a bit tired but it adds to the character of the pub as a whole, the staff are friendly and the food is decent, though the menu isn't the most extensive.

Breakfast was great and beer was good. But the toilets need sorting and there are definitely some character's drinking in there

Never again will I order meatballs from here. Way too sticky and sweet, not even worth the price. Staff have a clear attitude problem, my friend got assaulted in there last night and all the woman did was shout in her face and tell her to get out. No action taken against the boy whatsoever. Never returning to this establishment again. Appalling service! 🤢

Terrible service, waited over an hour for food despite there only being 6 tables occupied. After being told over and over again our food was ‘on its way’, ‘was next’ and ‘was in the lift’, we waited a further 15 mins before seeing a deliveroo delivery heading out of the kitchen. Deliveroo was clearly prioritised and we were constantly being lied too. Can’t comment on the food as we never received it. When asked for a refund, they were incapable of refunding onto our card, so we’re given 8pound cash, when our meals were over 20 pounds. We had to do the maths for them so could refund properly. 2 other tables also complained, 1 also requesting a refund, which took a while. And to top things off there was no loo roll in the toilets. Wouldn’t go back, EVER.

Best all round pub in Caerphilly! Very friendly Pub/Resturant/Sports Bar, Bar staff are interactive and cater for all needs. whether your into F1 on Sundays or pub quiz or football or horses, good atmosphere and good music, gets busy on weekends too! Singers on Fridays and DJ on Saturdays! Prices are competitive too! Defo worth a visit

Food is decent and drinks are fine. Tables are often a bit sticky but the staff are very kind. Atmosphere varies.

We came here while shopping in town. It's a lovely pub with a good drinks selection. There were plenty of veggie options to chose from too, and the food arrived quickly. the staff were friendly and we had a great time.

Iam sir John lawrance.. Iv just had a meal with my wife in the Kings Arms.. The chef is Paul.. He's a brilliant cook.. The mixed grill was very well cooked and presentation was superb.. I recormend this public house in caerphilly.. Will deffinutly return.. Well done Paul.

Friendly staff, lovely food, great atmosphere, I highly recommend this pub!

We had fish&chips and spicy chicken wings. Fish was succulent and crispy outside. Chips amount could be more, tartare sauce was too little. Chicken wings are amazing, speacially hot sauce is Really hot and loved it.

Nice in eating area with friendly staff. Food was hot but the beer battered fish was just awful. It started off fine but about half way through it became watery, greasy, and bland. I could not eat it and left with a stick of gum in my mouth desperately trying to erase the memory of it! I could not use the loos as 1 seat was broken, another had the remnants of blood smeared on the seat and another one looked like it had feaces on the outside of the bowl. The last cubicle was a no go as it was so small I would have had to press myself against the loo to get in and there was no way on this earth would I do that after what I saw😨😨😨

Had the best burger and waffle fries ever today! Shane behind the bar recommended it and suggested I try a peppercorn sauce with it, well it was banging and it’s now my new favourite. Thank you Shane for great customer service and a banging lunch

Visited on Saturday, had a great pint of Barry Island. Pub was busy, but served very quickly by friendly staff
