Lovely
Pub
in
the
Village
of
Penmark,
the
Dining
Room
is
very
modern
with
a
lovely
welcoming
Log
Fire
and
the
Staff
Greetings
were
to
be
recommended.
Shame
after
such
a
warm
greeting
that
this
establishment
whilst
having
all
the
hallmarks
of
producing
a
Great
Standard
of
Service,,
simply
did
not
deliver,
both
in
Service
and
Menu.
Having
selected
our
meals
and
been
served
our
Main
Meal,
once
eaten
we
could
have
walked
out
without
anyone
noticing,
staff
really
took
there
eye
of
the
ball
here
whilst
everything
else
in
the
restaurant
had
a
more
urgent
priority.
The
Main
Meals
scored
really
well,
4
of
us
dined
here
and
in
fairness
everything
was
good
to
go.
I
had
the
Sirloin
Med
Rare
which
was
delicious,
but
I
was
not
quite
sure
why
it
was
served
with
Half
a
Burnt
Onion
?
Perhaps
that
is
an
idea
to
far
?
Desert
Menu
was
for
us
a
complete
non
starter,
the
lack
of
choice
and
poor
selection
was
obvious
and
no
Cheese
Board
was
offered
which
would
have
made
up
for
the
poor
choices.
If
you
do
as
I
did
and
order
the
ice
cream
be
prepared
as
it
was
2
tiny
eye
balls
of
ice
cream
served
in
a
child's
dish,
no
trimmings,
nothing
!
not
even
a
choc
or
raspberry
sauce
or
a
wafer
!!!
Finally
who
serves
Capuccino
without
Chocolate
Sprinkles,
it
really
ended
up
tasting
like
a
Flat
White
Coffee.
Would
we
return,
maybe,
but
not
to
sure
it
would
be
on
a
Saturday
evening
and
not
until
they
had
a
New
Desert
Menu.
Could
be
5
stars
all
day
long,
with
a
couple
of
tweaks
and
some
staff
training.
