Good Wetherspoons pub, nice atmosphere with decent friendly staff. The food was very good, excellent curries served hot and tasty. Great prices too. Enjoyed the visit.

Loved the Tumble inn. It has a special kind of atmosphere. Bar staff brilliant. Coped well . Although the place is a bit dated , however I felt extremely comfortable. Food hot, well presented , and tasty 😋 . Thanks.

Came in for food and drinks after work Sunday night. Tables were stinking dirty and covered in glasses/food. Staff noticed that one of our group was under 18 but was drinking soft drinks. When staff came to deliver drinks they would count to make sure we wernt ordering for him and made a huge fuss about him having to leave after 9pm multiple times which we were already well aware of. Another member of staff with pink hair also had to keep sticking their nose in and keep reminding him that after 9 he was to leave, Speaking down to him in a bullying tone. By 9 o'clock the poor kid was harassed about 4-5 times in just under an hour of being there. Not a very inclusive place atall. Will not be coming back, or sending my any of my customers to the establishment for coffees whilst they wait. Disgusting behaviour from the staff Sunday night. I will be taking this much much further than a Google review

Convenient location is plus. That's where the good news end. Staff fall in the helpless category of lowpaid labour. This affects everything they touch or provide. Service is mediocre, filthy carpets and sticky tables. Hard to describe the stuff on the dish as food. Portions are more kids versions. Taste is missing from everything apart from the sakt. Total experience was a laugh but we're desperate for a roof over our drinks. Give it a miss if you value your money.

Friendly staff and good value food and drinks. We were a group of about 40 retired people who met up twice a year. This was our first Xmas get together since Dec 2019. It worked well and we all enjoyed it.

Nice place, well situated with a good customer-facing team. Good atmosphere and a decent amount of people coming through the door. But the food was sub-weatherspoons standard, which is saying something. And the place could do with some investment and modernisation. Toilets feel old and need better lighting but they were clean and the view out the back window to the park was worth the long walk to the gents.

My granddaughter loves pancakes and this establishment in pontypridd still does them in the breakfast menu. My local one in Blackwood has stopped doing them. So one happy child makes one even happier Bampi. My large breakfast was better than the one I enjoyed yesterday in Cwmbran. As you can see I enjoy the handyness of the app for ordering, the quick service of food and drinks. Highly recommend you visit if your in the area

Came here for dinner and i have got to say didn't have a problem the member of staff that served us and cleaned our table after (Jamie) he was amazing couldn't do enough for you. I would like to give him personally 5* just for being himself thank you so much.

Worst steak I've ever had, how they call this gourmet is beyond me unless the cold peppercorn sauce and micro mushroom and tomato are part of it. Server was in full Karen mode and had this air of I'm better than you. Definitely won't be returning.

typical of its brand, tables not cleared or cleaned on arrival, food order was OK but very small portion for the money...more like a starter....get what you pay for

A great place to visit, the tour was about 45 minutes we had Howard what a great guy, weekends are best as you can get on the shop floor you actually see the machines up close not behind glass as on a week day, we'll worth a visit, fascinating to see how they make all our coinage and other countries, they have a lovely gift shop and a good cafe to have a cuppa or if hungry do meals,

Came in on a night out, ordered 2 large pitchers to be met with 2 normal size pitchers, with floating bits in, but been told when we complained that it is just more alcohol in it. To which we didn't want as such as we had a group with us. Only offered partial refund due to it being in their terms and conditions, to which we could not find anywhere. Staff were very rude and ignorant, did not offer a solution. Very unhappy with our visit.

Good pub grub. Good service although they were very shorted staffed the day we were there a food came out to a large party between 30 and 45 mins (not the staffs fault). Dog friendly and a nice beer garden.

I went to get a drink and waited 15+ mins and when the bar staff served one of her friends immediately, I questioned it ad i had been waiting so long. And was told to go somewhere else if it was a problem. 10 mins later I was confronted by the manager and two of the security team asking why I had been rude to a member of their staff. I explained the situation and they were very understanding and reasonable even though the security around me was there to intimidate me because surely there’s no other reason for 2 security guards. The bar staff shouldn’t be not serving me and telling lads about how she’s gonna give him a great night and then grassing me in when I express an issue with it.

Always a nice place to start a night out. Ordering by the app and getting table service makes it so much easier than going to the bar. There can be a little wait for drinks to come so recommend buying two at a time. Cant fault prices on both food and drinks.

Bacon burger ordered. It came with no bacon. When we queried, we were served a burger with frozen bacon. The manager told us this was acceptable. When I complained, we were asked to leave. No one expects fine dining from Wetherspoons. No one expects food poisoning either.

The food is ok (if not slightly undercooked). It's just a shame that the meal was ruined by the 2 girls next to us who were constantly vaping and the unhelpful waitress who refused to say a word to us, even when we thanked her, but was more than happy to have a full conversation with the 2 vaping girls. I would advise anyone with asthma or other lung conditions to avoid this branch where at all possible.

Nice and warm, large floor space, good food selection...had fish chips and peas. Shame about the peas, plenty of them, though at a guess they probably spent no more than 30 seconds in hot water...very hard.

Had dinner here with my wife, my peas on sausage and mash were a very dull green after being in that hold too long, onion gravy I spotted 2 tiny bits of onion and half roast chicken is half dry, but we accepted not perfect as we have had worse experiences, but, missing coleslaw, nobody to ask about it till basically finished after asking for takeaway box for some of our food, brought stained takeaway bags, pointed out about the coleslaw to supervisor on shift, "oh, I can get it now", bit late when packaging our last bits up to leave! After a complaint you'd expect first word out of your mouth "sorry", not said once and she couldn't get away quick enough and certainly showed no care! We purposely diverted home to come here as previously had good experience, now we will be more likely to divert in the opposite direction! Not impressed at all!

My wife and I often find a Wetherspoon pub when we are on holiday or go out for the day. Mainly because , like most people these days, we have to be careful with our money. Wetherspoon's may not be high dining, but it is always great value. We have rarely had a meal that wasn't good. We have been in the Tumble Inn a few times over the years. Sometimes, the service hasn't been as good as we have received in other Wetherspoon's pubs. But this time we were impressed by the service we got. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to make sure everything was okay and that we felt welcomed. I actually wondered if they had all recently been on a customer service course! The food was what we are used to and of good quality. A breakfast muffin with egg, bacon, sausage, and cheese plus limitless coffee for about £4.65 each is great value. It's cheaper and better than McDonald's or Burger King plus a much better atmosphere.

Tried ordering gammon but it was out of stock, which can happen so I changed my order. When the new order was served I went looking for salt but there was none at either of the condiment stations. When I asked one of the staff members (along with another diner who was also looking), we were told quite bluntly that if there's none at either station then they've run out. No offer to check in the kitchen and no offer to send a member of staff to one of the local shops to get any. Its a shame really as the food was decent and the service was good.

Good pub to have quick drink and food

Had a lovely time at the tumble Inn this lunch time. As a party of 9 we found a table big enough for all of us however the table was full of glasses having asked the bar tender if someone would clean it up for us he came himself and thoroughly cleaned it up for us.then having taken our order at the bar served us our drinks at the table nothing was to much excellent service best I've had for a long time the food was delivered quick for a busy afternoon with the rugby on .excellent service throughout the afternoon food was very nice too and at £60 for 9 with drinks double vodka whisky and a few pints was very good .thank you to the tumble Inn.

So prices are good and food is good, I'm sure some of the staff are lovely. However possibly the SLOWEST service for drinks (through the app) I've ever had and on multiple occasions. I'd understand if I was ordering like 5 cocktails or something but a half pint should not be taking over 20mins to reach a table. Often I notice the drinks made up and ready but, due to current regulations, you can't go and collect them yourself. They will often sit there for an unreasonably long time especially when I'm often getting my food, which I've ordered at the same time, way before. TL;DR Staff at the bar don't appear to have much sense of urgency, be prepared to wait a while.

The table we sat at was clear of glasses and dishes, however we needed to clean the table surface with wipes twice before it was clean enough not to stick to. I went to order our food and when I returned to our table I realised that only one of our two dishes had been ordered and I had to return to the bar to re-order my food. The food did arrive quickly and hot though.

Great little pub with nice staff, good food and fair prices. I go here often and it's my local ❤ It has a lovely variety of booths and tables and is in an excellent location directly opposite Pontypridd train station and in the town centre for those wanting a quick bite before traveling somewhere. I am a student and their prices are great for what you get. It is also one of the only places I can find that serve good beers like Tyskie and Staropramen. I love The Tumble Inn ❤

Such a shame, food was terrible and lemonade was flat on arrival. Most of the food was cold. Steak came without a steak knife, ordered medium came out extremely well done. Fish was disgusting, completely over cooked. The beans are cheap and horrible, the eggs must have been cooked at the beginning and left to go hard while everything else was cooking. Really disappointed as we were hoping to come here regularly. You need a new chef!

Nice place. Good food. But when We went in lots of tables were dirty and was difficult to find a clean one. They need to hire more staff.

A great venue for pre-drinks and a quick pub meal. Good prices and very easy to order. Staff were helpful although they were unable to get a number for a Taxi company to book for us. But the food was good and the drinks were good. Very clean pub

Have to give Wetherspoons pubs top ratings for the value they provide. This one was quiet at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon so a good place to relax after a 10 mile walk. A classy interior with lots of seating.

Top of the town. Always heaving. Brilliant large seating area. Order from the app its much quicker. Coffees are cheap as chips 🍟that’s my mum and dad! Caught them off guard 😂

Table of seven, drinks came as soon as ordered and food was out quickly. Food was very reasonably priced and portions were filling overall very happy with the experience and would highly recommend.

Refused entry at 00:03 on a Friday night. Wanted a couple of pints with a couple of buddies but was advised by the bouncer (on camera) that the pub is no longer taking customers. Literally moments later 3 young ladies convinced the same bouncer to let them in. Is it normal custom to block entry to good customers at 00:03 when the opening hours clearly state they're open to 01:00? Ordered a pizza for lunch on Thursday 15th September. Plenty of toppings but the base was a thin as a pancake. The service is generally top notch but staff were forgetful and dirty cutlery was served during the evening. I've had plenty of good times at this pub but it seems plenty of bad too.

Don't go there on Saturday as the bouncers there are acting people from behind for vaping. They have hurt my neck given me black eye hurt both my arms and a my leg. Also threw a women on the floor resulting in her cutting her had hand in several places the I'm waiting on the police to come see totally unprofessional. Ps I'm disabled

We had such a nice time here. The lady serving us was covid rules compliant. Ok with me being exempt from wearing a mask. A great pint too. Nice clean place and toilets.
