Avoid!
Worst
pub
lunch
experience
I've
ever
had.
Past
positive
ratings
seem
to
be
from
the
last
owners.
Warning
bells
should
have
sounded
when
the
young
waiting
staff,
who
were
unable
to
wear
a
mask
correctly,
needed
to
have
explained
to
them
the
difference
between
ale
and
lager.
A
long
discussion
which
was
made
moot
by
the
fact
there
was
no
ale
available
and
a
pitiful
selection
of
lagers.
Out
of
our
group
of
four
they
managed
to
get
two
of
the
drinks
correct;
this
would
prove
to
be
an
above
average
performance
for
them.
The
contents
of
the
menu
were
uninspiring
and
a
request
about
options
for
the
children
was
met
with
a
huff.
The
fact
the
menu
was
ripped,
had
pen
marks
scribbled,
and
had
marks
on
it
which
I
hope
were
sauce
and
not
bodily
fluids
did
not
impress.
Cutlery
was
dirty,
napkins
crumpled,
and
when
the
food
arrived
the
burger
bun
was
burnt.
Out
of
the
four
meals
we
ordered,
only
one
was
correct.
The
food
had
no
discernible
seasoning
and
a
request
for
salt
yielded
yet
another
huff.
Having
only
been
served
one
below
average
dish
we
had
to
endure
the
two
waiting
staff
shouting
instructions
from
one
side
of
restaurant
to
the
other
and
learning
that
one
of
them
"really
doesn't
like
serving
food"
I
asked
to
see
the
owner.
Although
sheepish
about
the
rubbish,
inaccurate
and
rude
service
he
showed
no
energy
or
initiative
in
trying
to
correct
our
experience.
As
our
feedback
resulted
into
the
waiting
staff
arguing
in
front
of
us
about
where
the
blame
lay
rather
than
accepting
responsibility
we
walked
out.
I've
never
walked
out
of
a
restaurant
before.
Never
felt
like
I
could
not
trust
the
staff,
owner
or
chef.
As
we
left
the
chef
was
in
the
carpark
feeding
food
to
a
random
dog.
At
least
the
dog
got
a
meal
although
I
find
the
hygiene
of
such
an
act
questionable.
