Absolutely fantastic. Delicious food, great portions and very reasonably priced! The staff were super friendly and helpful. Some of the best food we've had in Cardiff. Would really recommend 😊

Excellent - a good Thai restaurant tucked in Crwys road. We experienced an authentic thai cuisine unlike ubiquitous and bland take away spots. We went during lunch time. It was quite and ambience was nice . Guys were very friendly and suggested what to order. We tried krapau kung, masandam curry, coconut rice, chicken wings, Thai green tea and a Mogo mogo drink. It was lush. Suggest not to go till “extra spicy” You may park behind British heart foundation ( horizon parking) and walk for 2 minutes as it’s a very busy street PS: photos may not be great 🫣

Visited here with my friend. Food was lovely. We ordered the chicken Satay and Veg Spring rolls (Por Pia Tord) to start with. The presentation of food was excellent. The food arrived nice and hot. It was really delicious. For our Mains we ordered the green Thai curry (chicken) with egg friend rice to go with. Again the presentation of food was excellent however bit disappointed with the taste of green Thai curry as it was mild. I feel it lacked the kick in that curry. Then we ordered Gai Gaeng Dang also with egg fried rice which was really delicious and fragrant. The quantity was really good. Didnt eat dessert as we were full with what we ordered. Would recommend this place.

Went here for the first time with a couple of friends and the food was delicious and the interior was fab… however, we booked for 8.30pm and was told online that the table was for 1hr40mins… the lady serving was nice however my real bugbear was when they started bringing the mains and we hadn’t finished our starters so there were lots of plates on the table and at 9.50pm we were told that they were shutting at 10pm promptly. Surely their last table booking should be for 8.20pm? The empty chairs were stacked on the tables and we felt very rushed to finish so the experience wasn’t as pleasant as it could’ve been. Obviously it states they shut at 10pm but we really didn’t realise we would be shunted out the doors so quickly or felt to get out so abruptly - I’d recommend going earlier to get a better experience!

Food was fab, staff were lovely and helpful. Speed was service was good. We ordered duck spring rolls, chicken wings (lush) and shake fries to start. For mains we had the tamarind duck and the skin was lovely and crispy, could have maybe had a little more sauce, and the crispy chicken Thai green curry was delicious. We will definitely be back (and have been a few times before)

Curry rice is recommended. The rice has been processed to have a coconut aroma, which is very delicious. Desserts are also good.

It was our first visit to Tuk Tuk and it did not disappoint. The staff was incredibly friendly and took us through the menu. Advised us on the spice levels and what goes great with each dish. The food arrived quickly and tasted amazing. The chilli squid was to die for, with big fat chunks of squid covered in a crispy batter. None of those chewy rings you get in other places! We are definitely coming back soon!

Tuk Tuk is absolutely fantastic. Not an overly complicated or big menu - just right with a great selection of beautiful Thai dishes. The cocktails are also wonderfully created with really beautiful flavours. The service was fantastic - my husband and I were very well looked after by the lovely Cornelius IV - he made our evening fun and enjoyable! Thank you so much!

How have I not tried this place sooner?! Firstly I was blown away by the aesthetic of the interior, very detailed and full of textures from walls to ceiling. The hanging lamp shades we later found out were imported from Thailand, making this experience even more authentic. As for the food we ordered: Tom yum soup with prawns- heartwarming bowl with the right balance of sour and spicy flavours! Perfect for cold and rainy weather Gang Med Mamuang with chicken- deliciously stir fried with a medley of vegetables and had a savoury and sweet taste which went well with roti and egg fried rice!✨ Pad Thai with prawns- beautifully presented encased in an omelette had the sweet, tanginess and nutty flavour Massaman curry with duck- was a favourite of ours, it had just the right amount of sweetness and consistency. Went very well with roti and egg fried rice Sticky rice and mango- sweet mango slices on a bed of coconut sticky rice! what a delightful combination of sweet and creamy flavours Mango cheesecake- a delicious layer of crunchy base, thick creamy filling and sweet mango purée Overall, we enjoyed everything here; the food and ambience were excellent, and not to forget the impeccable service we received from the staff especially Cornelius, who undoubtedly served us with professionalism and warmth throughout our dining experience! We’re already looking forward to trying the rest of the dishes:)

We are from Asia and have been to many Thai restaurants in Asia as well as Europe. The food in Tuk Tuk is authentic and of very high standard. The service is superb. All of the members were very professional and friendly. Special mention to the guy from Malaysia. Good ambiance too

For the quality and amount of food you get this is a really nice budget friendly restaurant in Cardiff, around a 20 minute walk from Cardiff Castle. We tried a variety of dishes, and I loved the tofu and vegetable Pad Thai. The banana spring rolls are a unique dessert addition which are so good! Can't wait to come back next time we're in the city.

Service was great, the severs were very friendly! The food was incredible and was well presented. I would 100% recommend the Zap wings, especially if you are a spice lover! The lychee rose mimosa was beautiful and extremely tasty! I would not hesitate to come back again soon.

A beautifully designed place with delicious food and drinks. The food was just the right amount of spicy, and in generous portions. Felt like an authentic Thai restaurant, with nice lighting, music, and hanging decorations. It's clear to see the place is well managed and thought through. Loved going here, and can't wait to go back next time I'm in Cardiff!

Visited this restaurant as it was highly rated in Cardiff. The service was quick and the food was good. Highly recommend the thai green curry as it was lovely. However, we both ordered the lemon iced tea and it tasted so horrible. We didnt drink and asked for water instead. We were also rushed out of our table at the end as the restaurant was getting busy.

We went last Saturday, would highly recommend food was amazing especially the duck and coconut rice! Service was quick and friendly and food prices were really reasonable for the quality. The restaurant itself is small and quaint, decorated lovely and has a really vibrant atmosphere. Will definitely be going again soon!

Nice setting for a group dinner, small and intimate restaurant so you really need to book beforehand. Starters and mains were lovely and fresh, cooked well. Dessert was a bit disappointing, I think the sauce wasn't quite right, but the mango was very nice.

Nice setting for a group dinner, small and intimate restaurant so you do need to book beforehand but we were a group of 9. Starters and mains were delicious - only point of improvement is that the chicken satay was slightly over cooked.

Impromptu lunch, absolutely delicious. Served Thai Spicy everything was very well cooked. Very pleasant staff as well. Surprisingly generous portions as well. We will definitely be back.

Incredible food at a great price and a lovely atmosphere. Duck spring rolls, satay chicken starters were amazing and the best spicy chicken wings I've found in Cardiff. Definitely recommend the pad Thai and Cashew chicken mains. Professional and friendly service, worked hard to manage the busy FOH between just the two of them so hats off. Will be back soon.

I like the atmosphere, dark and forestry. The food tasted lovely too. We had prawn crackers, chicken satay and spring rolls for starters. GF noodles, panang curry, coconut rice. Cocktails thai spice-killer, goes down very well with the meal. Quite a fee GF, V options too.

So we stumbled across this place today and honestly it is the most beautiful and delicious place. The food is amazing. We have eaten in Thailand in some stunning restaurants, and this food honestly transported us back there. It is authentic, tasty and flavourful. I can't recommend this place enough ❤️❤️❤️❤️Already booked to go back.

Very nice food, busy but rapid service. Clean toilets. Difficult to choose vegitsrian or vegan starters but mains had veggie and vegan options. Though not a prodominantly takeaway place they let themselves down with plastic takeaway containers.
